We will protect the kids like we protected the airports after 9/11. Patriot act, TSA, and mass surveillance. Feeling safer, kittens?

"like we did in schools in 2020-1."

Expand full comment

No. Actually it's "terrifying".

Go ask a few people in line at airport security if trading freedom for safety was worth it. Not only do they look at you weird for asking such...they do not even know what you're talking about. Serious. Try it...it's really depressing.

Last year I mentioned to wife's aunt that TSA is useless because it misses about 70-80% of 'fake' weapons when they do effectiveness audits.

She looked at me like I had 2 heads or was making it up. The very thought TSA would be so ineffective was inconceivable.

I suspect they are just as bad today as in 2017-ish when these results were publicized. If they'd have improved they'd be crowing about it so its only logical conclusion is they simply stopped reporting results since I can't find anything more recent than about 2018 on this topic.

They haven't improved. They've just become more obnoxious.

I know someone who accidentally went through three or four international airports (two in the USA) with a couple small bullets he had failed to notice while cleaning out his backpack for travel. He discovered them in Malaysia, where mere possession of such puts you in prison.

The Swiss are notorious for being extremely polite but quite cold people at the same time. The airport security staff are polite but cold, meaning no smiles, just professional. We always fly from Basel, Switzerland, and we never encountered rude security staff. Sardinia (Italy) was also great. We went camping and had our tent in on board, hand luggage. The Italian security guys were somewhat concerned about the tent poles and hooks but after some discussion they waved us through, all good natured and friendly.

How is voter ID complicated to implement, I don't get it?

Over here (Germany), everyone needs to register with the city/council when you buy or rent a flat (to pay taxes and fees for garbage collection) . When there is an election, everyone who is registered and over 18 years old gets a letter with your name and address on it and an instruction where you need to go to vote (usually the local schools). At the place of voting, you need to show an ID (Passport, National ID Card) and you get one paper ballot to vote and you are crossed off a list (all manually, on paper).

Technically, you can decide to not register with the council. You cannot vote in that case and your garbage won't be collected and you will likely not be able to use utility services such as electricity or cable TV. There is very little election fraud because the system is difficult to cheat. Too many real people are involved, ID checkers, crossing you off the paper list of voters, everything on paper only.

Expand full comment

In the US, different states have different rules. In Nebraska (a "red" state), paper is used except perhaps for machine-counting of the ballots. The polling places are open from 8 am to 8 pm, commonly in a church. You go in when you want, and usually there is hardly any line. You are met by a row of about four friendly poll workers seated at a line of light tables. Until this last year, when photo ID came to be required, they just asked you your name, looked you up in a notebook of registered voters, and then asked for your address to confirm. They mark you off the list, give you a paper ballot in an opaque plastic sleeve, and send you to a little curtained booth to fill it out with a pencil to be found at the booth. When done, you return the ballot in its plastic sleeve to the last poll worker in line, who empties the ballot into a collection box without looking at it. They thank you for voting, and offer you an "I voted today" sticker to wear with virtue-signaling pride if you care to.

With voter ID, it's the same as before, except that now we have to show a card, typically our driver's license. I suppose if a cheater had known the name and address of someone in another precinct who wasn't voting, they could have voted twice and got away with it; now the photo ID rule would thwart them. I doubt it was ever much of a problem anyway.

Expand full comment

The one thing they'll never use it for is voting.

Expand full comment

What would be worse would be that everyone needs it for voting, and the system, knowing who you are, changes your vote. There would be no way to audit such a system from the outside.

Expand full comment

Yes. If the rule of the secret ballot is preserved, then the ID would admit you to vote, but would not be tied to your vote. If that boundary is bridged by machine voting tied to ID, then they could make votes say anything they wanted.

The public library has all kinds of books that aren't suitable for young people, it has terribly written books, it has books with ridiculous endings... But that doesn't mean the public library should be demolished. The same goes for the internet. What it does mean - IMO - is that parents need to be guiding and guarding their children as to what is being seen/heard/tasted/touched to make sure that it's appropriate for them. Parenting is the hardest job on the planet - there's no instruction manual, it's 24/7, there are no guarantees as to how the kids age gonna turn out - no matter how great a parent you are - there are so many variables that can make a difference in the path they decide to take. Basically, it's a crap shoot. Just wish every parent would realize that it's the most important job on the planet.

As we have found ourselves behind the eight ball in all these globalist plans to control and eliminate us, I wish, if anything could move us as a herd, this would. If a sufficient percentage of the people would unite and agree to tune out and turn off the internet, before those in power do it for us, we might derail their plans. Go back to shopping locally, use cash not cards, dump the phones or use only for calls, meet/talk with your neighbors, find a farmer's market, etc. Maybe it's already too late, but if there was ever a time to "Just Say No" it's now. At the very least, boycott every one of those corporations supporting this. If we sit back and do nothing, then it's game over. You best choose now what means more, what stance you will take. As the Dylan song goes, "Now it may be the devil, or it may be the Lord, but you're gonna have to serve somebody."

"Also, it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark..." (Revelation 13:16)

This is a dark development.

The Agenda rolls on. Always.

Because we didn't hang them for it^ when they declared war on us in 2020.

And given the 'other party' wanted to bring in something similar I am certain it will get through.

You see in Australia it is less that we have 2 contending parties and rather 2 cheeks of the same ass when it comes to the choice of governing psychopaths.

It is Pepsi or Coke. Always.

The appearance of choice.

Both seem utterly beholden to whatever Evil holds the puppet strings around the world. Whatever animates the insane policies that have sprouted like weeds in the long summer days since 2019.

And the somnambulant majority here, so caught up in runaway inflation and astronomic real estate prices, will rationalise their acquiescence to this final nail in the coffin with little more than a shrug. The Trojan, of protection of children. A narrative spun by people who mandated those small humans be injected with a bioweapon. For a 'virus' that posed no statistical threat to them. Because they care that much.

It is no comfort that blind freddy predicted this move - and these tactics - years ago.

The Monster needed the final pieces of the digital prison to reach endgame. And they needed people to accept the mark. At first. After, it won't matter. Slaves born in a prison will never know anything else. And while we have been in a prison all our lives, it has been of a very different form to that which is about to drop around us all.

The Monster has been acting hasty around the world of late. The mask for its puppets, like Keir Stalin, has been slipping as they surge their destruction. Once again they are lunging for the finish line.

The reveal is almost upon us.

Eyes Open, friends.

Peace.
