Computer engineer here. This point, as simple as it sounds, is exactly the way you troubleshoot a new anomaly in broken complex system. Anytime I get a call about a system that has worked reliably for years and all of a sudden broke, the first question is: what has changed recently?

On a related note, when the vaccines were first approved that night I told my wife that I'd read up on them to decide if we should get them. I got one paragraph in before my brain said f-that, and I haven't looked back. The paragraph went something like: "though never before used in humans, mRNA technology has been researched for decades." Nope, done. There is no more complex system in the universe than a human being. You don't YOLO a vaccine to billions of people unless you're dealing with aerosolized ebola.

Defense advanced research programs agency (darpa) hired moderna in 2013 to do a project for ADEPT:

https://www.darpa.mil/program/autonomous-diagnostics-to-enable-prevention-and-therapeutics

From the spec sheet:

"These tools—primarily coded genetic instructions to the body on how to produce its own protective antibodies against a specific threat—have the advantages of being easily manufactured at scale using largely synthetic processes, transported and stored without many of the cold-chain logistics required by traditional medical countermeasures, delivered with near-immediate efficacy, and safely expressed in the body for only a limited duration, causing no permanent alteration to the genome."

the idea was the soldier can go in a pathogen risk area already carry anti bodies for the known pathogen, and design the "coding" quickly, distribute it cheaply etc.

These are not vaccines and the recurring booster is in the spec sheet why no one was told.....

I work as an engineer in the automobile industry. My experience is that new car projects usually have some flaws and if there is some new technology involved, this is all but guaranteed. When the car goes into production (after a few years and several production cycles) the big flaws gone, but you might have some minor problems left. Needless to say I am unvaccinated.

The more evidence emerges that their mass vaccination campaign not only isn’t working but may actually be creating a world-wide catastrophe, the more they double down on it. At this point, they cannot allow anyone to be unvaxxed. They can’t tolerate a control group that will eventually reveal their folly.

Watched former toxicologist Dr. Chris Martensen's (Peak Prosperity) analysis of the Swedish study of vax efficacy, also reported here at "bad cattitude". Mind blowing. The study reveals the need for endless boosters @ 90-120 days. He discusses what additional data collected for the future might reveal (and you can right guess). At the same time, my local news is running pieces showcasing young kids excited to get their first child-vax (5-11), telling their cute stories about how they'd put the jab on their Christmas wish list, with their local Dr. moms' at our local hospitals clapping for how wonderful it is to see this wish fulfilled. My next thought in seeing this, primed with Dr. M's analysis of the Swede study was...yeah, because this is part of how you eliminate the controls that made the Swede data so illuminating. You had still, unvaxxed people to pair up against! The mandate attempts are the other prong in that pincer move. The local news story ended with two lines of excitement over the expectation that babies will soon be eligible for their own vax doses. I was so gobsmacked that I watched the latenight repeat of the news from another channel...same story, same people, same language. KVRR after the Thursday Night Football game, and KVLY on its 1AM rebroadcast of the 10P news.

Get rid of the controls, and you cannot know what effect "natural" immunity might have had, nor can you know to what degree otherwise natural immunity was destroyed. This was a point Dr. M lingered on a bit in his video...the efficacy figures' error bars go *negative*, implying that there's the change that at some point, post-vax, not only does your susceptibility to infection return to the unvaxxed baseline, but you become *MORE* vulnerable (perhaps unless you get a booster...but this is as yet almost completely unknown).

Good idea. Here's their excess mortality for 2020-2021. https://www.abs.gov.au/statistics/health/causes-death/provisional-mortality-statistics/latest-release

They started vaccinating mid-March. It looks like the overall excess deaths prior to start of vaccination was completely normal (lower at the start of the period, higher at the end, but averaging out to normal). Excess deaths since start of vax have been much higher than average... But since excess deaths before the start of vax were higher the longer lockdowns went on, not that easy to disentangle.

Really need vaxx status for deaths to determine if the non-vaxx deaths were normal.

Hi Tim,

AU person here. As a health practitioner, I have most definitely seen EXTRA sickness/inflammatory conditions in my patients since the injections were rolled out (anecdotal evidence). But none of my patients have died from the injections - that I know of yet! But if they have boosters etc, I could write a list now of the ones that won't make it. But yes, hospitals being full of ill people not from covid but side-effects of the covid injections sounds about right!

First up, those graphs need to show more years of data, but from what we do have, there were plenty of people NOT dying as per usual in 2020, so a few more dying in 2021 kind of makes up for it. Swings & round-a-bouts. But still, there are now extra deaths in there...since the injections came out...

There's no death data past July 2021 (even though it's currently November...), but in the doctor-certified deaths, there's definitely a jump between Feb-May 2021, which incorporates the time when the injections were rolled out in AU (21st Feb 2021). It's an odd time to die, too, because the weather is quite nice then. Normally there are more deaths in winter but in both 2020 AND 2021, there are LESS deaths than usual. Probably people decided to (read: were forced to...) stay at home more and didn't brave the colder air.

Surprisingly, though, up until July 2021, when looking at specific deaths, it's not cardio/cerebrovascular or respiratory deaths that were greater, but diabetes, dementia & cancer. And yes, you are right, the lockdowns did NOT help! People often could not get their care and so they got worse. People were 'greeted' at hospitals by staff in FULL PPE (you'd think there was a radiation leak!) and were made to fill out covid forms and all before they'd even be seen. Medical practitioners would refuse to see ANYONE who had cough/fever symptoms unless they had a covid test first and got a negative result. It was horrible. I don't work in the hospital system but I was doing the job of our medical practitioners A LOT during that time because they refused! Helpfully I'm also a doctor (just not the medical kind) so I have plenty of differential diagnostics training.

It'd be nice if the Australian 'government' would release more timely data. They make it so hard to find ANY data sometimes. And places like the TGA deliberately lie and also refuse to give you information. Then they just go and put back election dates by a few months. We certainly don't live in a democracy...

I’m a physician not hospital based) and I saw a spate of likely vaccine injuries. I’ve never worn a mask or forced anyone else to wear a mask. I refuse to receive an experimental drug. I prescribe early repurposed drugs to treat COVID patients to keep them out of the hospital. The Governor of CO just signed an E.O. allowing hospitals to turn away unvaccinated patients. I will not comply with any of this.

Expand full comment

Still not sure exactly what the Polis order will do. What’s the feeling among docs and hospitals, will they use it as a tool to discriminate against unvaxed or to twist arms to vax? In the process of selling our home and this may have made the decision for us about staying in CO or heading north out of state.

Expand full comment

Good to know there are other doctors out there who actually care about science - and their patients! Shame your Governor doesn't think the same way.

I wonder when the state governments in AU will say the uninjected will be unable to get medical care...? When it's the people having the covid injections filling up the hospitals with all their inflammatory and other conditions (fuelled by these same covid injections), it makes no sense at all! But people like your Governor and our parliamentarians don't read the proper science, do they? :-(

Expand full comment

I come to substack for the truth, and you are slanting it here. Gov. Polis’ EO is in response to the huge surge in hospital admissions in Colorado. The order allows hospitals, many of which are at 80-90% of capacity, to remove barriers created by previous Federal regs that prohibited hospitals from turning away patients (pre-Covid, hospitals had been guilty of “dumping” patients who were unable to pay). The EO enables them to “redirect” patients to other facilities, or cease admissions, if necessary. The formula used is akin to triage rather than one’s vaccination status.

Oh, I'm OK I suppose. Like everyone - I've been better! But unlike all most people who are just following orders, I have a belief system - it's called Seeking The Truth. So I will always be OK, regardless of the madness that happens around me.

I don't wear a mask, or even own one. I have a sign asking my patients take off their mask when they come into my treatment room. They all happily comply. I don't sign in anywhere and I'm rather over it all. I try to be nice to people rather than fighting with them, but I know what's going on. I've done a lot of standing up for our rights, and in many ways, too, but people generally just aren't interested in keeping their rights, so it seems...

It also wouldn't make a difference if the stupid state government mandated these injections for me to work. I'd work anyway. They don't own me, my body, my qualifications or my business. And they most certainly don't understand science! They cannot make me take an injection, either; I feel like I've read enough legislation these past 18 months to get a law degree!

So anyway, yes, it's all awful, Tim, but you've just gotta be tough to get through it! What a time to live, eh?

Expand full comment

The problem with people is that they never stand up for their rights. Our "rights" were enabled by a very small number of people throughout history, not the majority. The Magna Carta, the French Revolution and the American Revolution were all enabled and fought for by a very small number of people with ideals beyond the comprehension of the majority of people.

Yes, we have to all hang tough! Glad to hear you are able to work and have some control over your life and business, so you don't have to get an OK from an employer -- makes all the difference. It was shocking to me too that more people don't care about checking the science and just "trust the experts", and don't care if they have to get multiple vaccines/boosters to live normal lives. I'm hoping the OSHA orders that hit today will help -- the legal arguments against it will include the science, so we'll get a day in court at least.

Not sure it was different. I know that there were many in Japan that knew that attacking the US was folly. One case I read about was a father telling his sone how foolish it was while there were working in the family machine shop. ‘Look at all the machines we are using to make and repair other machines. Look at where they were manufactured. “Made in England”, Made in U.S.A.”. How do those fools think we can defeat them?” Support for the government was far from universal but on the surface universal enthusiasm was all that was seen.

Same today with Covid. My work puts me in contact with many medical professionals. One is an infectious disease control specialist. He wears a mask, When I asked him why he of all people is wearing a mask his eyes widened to a comical degree. I started to explain my qualifications with respirators and that I know what masks can and can not do. He put his hand up and said in English, “It’s political”. reverting to his native Japanese he explained that everyone in his specialty knows that the measure they are forcing us to take are meaningless but that no one can speak up. Questioning why they can’t speak elicited a peculiar Japanese gesture of a clenched fist, bent wrist delivered to the top of his head. The first time I saw this gesture used was when my two elderly female students who were children during the war told me why they could not repeat what they told me about Japan during the to their peers. A clenched fist, a bent wrist to the top of their heads.

I am truly terrified about the future.

He was told that long ago by a nurse. He teaches nurses. Never heard stated as short and sweet as that but have known that to be true from my training. We discussed how foolish and detrimental to health to wear a mask all day, every day.

TS, I read that Japan moved from a vax-centric approach to Ivermectin and have all but eradicated the virus. Can you update us on this? Was it fake news?

Expand full comment

I can not say for certain, but could be. From the beginning, Japan has said that while they would like to mandate mask use, lockdowns and business closures, and later vaccines they lack the legal authority to do. So they recommend them only, which in Japan is almost the same as mandating them. They do have the authority to close government agencies and they did. Public schools did start late last years due to covid and require masks. Private schools for the most part followed suit.

Japan has had bad history with vaccines and there has been hesitating by various demographics. Until recently, young adults have not been getting the shot but it is reported that they are now, but I do not know. I do know that most of my students have gotten it, the vaccine that is. I teach mainly at medical and nursing schools and they were among the first to get the shot. I do not know the vaccine rate among my vocational school students.

A client company of mine had a Covid cluster summer 2020. Only one was hospitalized, most of them learned they had it only through testing that their company paid for to see if anyone working with the one who first went to the hospital passed in on. This summer they had another round. This time one young lady, with whom I just finished a Zoom lesson with, got Covid. Of her friends at work, hers was the worst case and it was so severe that she wants to have it agin. She enjoyed the ten days home alone catching up on movies. She said that they only treatment she received was symptom relief. I will ask her next Friday what she was given but am doubtful she knows. Medication, apart from the dosing, is usually not explained in Japan and they love to give out lots.

I have not yet come across any mention of Ivermectin in Japan, but it could be that is widely given out but I just haven’t seen it. I will look into it.

As far as eradicating the disease, be very suspicious of any claims on anything from Japan. Early on they were touting their superior cultural ideals of sanitation, including mask use, as the reason they were no cases of Covid in the country. If you do not test for something, you will not find it and they were not testing until very late. Wide spread testing is still not a thing here. The testing sites I am familiar with have always been vacant every time I passed, with the exception of those at hospitals testing their staff and students. I have not been tested.

Will look into it. I will say that they are still pushing vaccines and just the other day I read that boosters are now available for everyone.

Expand full comment

A quick search reveals that Japan has NOT approved Ivermectin for use against Covid.

Just in from my mail box.

“ A monoclonal "antibody cocktail" drug developed by U.S. firm Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc. obtained fast-track approval from the Japanese health ministry on Friday for use as a post-exposure prophylaxis to prevent the spread of the coronavrius within households and for the treatment of asymptomatic COVID-19 patients.

Ronapreve, which is composed of the artificially produced antibodies casirivimab and imdevimab, was also given approval to be administered by subcutaneous injection, in addition to the intravenous injection that was already authorized, to provide flexibility in how the drug is given to match each patient’s needs. The approvals came a day after the ministry’s expert panel backed the treatment and mark the country’s first OK for a COVID-related drug to be used for prophylactic purposes, aside from the COVID-19 vaccines.”

So it looks like we are adding treatment to are arsenal.

BTW, English language news usually lags a day behind the same in Japanese. So it is indeed possible that someone picked up on this earlier.

Each and every little town in the US used to have at least 2 newspapers, one from each major political party and every news story was reported from each party’s perspective. Most knew that the reality lie somewhere between the two papers’ views. Japan still has this to some extent. No local papers part from the little 4 or 6 page insert that we get once a week with our national paper subscription. But national papers often have very different conclusions to the same stories.

For most of my life time, news in the US has only been present through the lens of a single party.

I've always considered the use of sarcasm to be full of risks, especially online. There is an ethical pressure to not mislead people about what one believes. Yet, saying what you don't believe in an unbelievable way that's on the edge of undetectability is where a point can be made with humor.

The moral quandary is that the risk is too high that someone believes what you wrote and they may rely upon your admission as substance to build their beliefs off of. This is especially true online if people reading what others write are non-native speakers and translating using a machine.

Imagine a machine-learning algorithm that was primarily trained on a dataset where people are often talking to themselves in ways where only they can detect what to invert (sarcastic). This AI will learn all kinds of nonsense and totally misrepresent the reality it believes the others are seeing and express.

That's the reason why I've started to add <Sarcasm> tag even though the hazard of someone not even reaching the bottom is high and never seeing it is high. :P

Expand full comment

Such a moral quandary only exists when one's sarcasm could actually cause people harm (e.g., push them further into believing a lie that threatens all of humanity). Under those circumstances, we need to be careful that our sarcasm does not make an already untenable situation worse.

On the other hand, we could quite rightly argue, that, ultimately, it is the responsibility of the individual to educate and inform themselves. We are not their keeper. ;)

Actually, something too similar was recently said by someone involved in approving the vaccine for kids in the States. Something along the lines of, ‘The only way to learn the long term effects is to give them the shot. That’s just how it works.’ Which, in itself has some truth to it, which again is why we do not vaccinate a population for a disease that has so little risk to them.

an update on Adverse Events (AEs) from Australia ..

I'm a retired barrister (lawyer) currently trying to work up a Court case here, to get our TGA (our local equivalent of the FDA), to suspend/cancel the vaccines in light of unprecedented AE data

go here for our national database:

https://www.tga.gov.au/database-adverse-event-notifications-daen

.. when using the above you must use the brand name for each vaccine .. Comirnaty, AstraZeneca, and SpikeVax

summary is this .. for all of Pfizer, AstraZeneca, and Moderna .. within the past 10 months since rolling them out:

Deaths: 591

Total AE reports: 70,420

from the health professionals who made the reports (90% of all reports), it is suspected the mRNA vaccine are responsible for the AEs/Deaths in more than 98% of cases

note the Australian system suffers from a great deal of Under-reporting, which the TGA well knows, and has acknowledged in annual NCIRS reports, so the above figures are right at the lowest end of actual AEs experienced throughout the community

If like the American system, then the above figures could be increased anywhere by a factor of 10-100 .. though 10 is the best conservative starting point

.. therefore we could very well be looking at 5,910 actual Deaths to 20 October in the Australia community

.. and 704,200 actual AEs to 20 October in the Australia community

My brother, an Associate Professor in Genetic Epidemiology, has verified this under-reporting, and the real AEs occurring being somewhere 10-100 times greater

only yesterday I threw a more detailed treatment of our AE data over to Emeritus Professor Robert Clancy, with whom I correspond with regularly

.. in part Robert replied to the data with the following:

'Major under reporting in Australia (as elsewhere), but numbers of deaths at least 50 fold anything ever reported, this has to brought to account. What is happening is “causality” studies by Rose (in Canada) and post mortems (Germany)showing specific histological changes, bringing likely causation to at least half the reports. Scary in the extreme!'

.. Robert is referencing the noted Dr of Evolutionary Biology Jessica Rose, who has regularly presented to the Vaccine Committee of the FDA .. and a well known paper out of Germany reviewing autopsies, which clearly found causality between vaccines and the dead persons examined

.. performing Robert's calculations above with respect to Australian AEs, and we are potentially looking at the following in Australia:

Deaths to date likely 50 fold greater in the community, therefore:

591 Deaths X 50 = 29,550

Where 'specific histological changes' point to causality being with/due to the vaccines, likely 50%, therefore:

Potentially 14,775 Deaths having already occurred in Australia due to these vaccines.

.. of course the onus is upon the TGA here, due to its privileged access to medical records for each AE

.. as I related only this morning to a Senator here I am in contact with, and who is trying to hold the TGA to account:

'please keep in mind one critical idea - there is a vaccine canary in the coal mine .. and the coal mine is autopsies that are either not being performed, or a being performed badly upon anyone who has died post vaccination

.. and the issue of the absence of autopsies, or where they have been performed, then How were they were performed .. is an issue of National concern that lies at the door of the TGA

A. .. .. for instance .. are Coroners being made alert to possible vaccine causality, to alert them, so they may consider the vaccines as a more plausible cause?

B. .. .. are Coroners who are examining potential vaccine victims, receiving Instructions/Directions for how to process such cases, particularly any Directions that are forcing Conclusions away from evidencing vaccine causality?

C. .. .. in light of the unprecedented Deaths appearing in AE reports, has the TGA even made it a priority that these reported Deaths undergo an autopsy .. or indeed, are they avoiding this once standard procedure?

.. there you go .. a small peak into Australia

what is unfolding here is occurring everywhere globally these vaccines have been forced upon a population

Hi Julian, I know why you are doing this, and I fully support you!! I have put in a complaint about the TGA to the Commonwealth Ombudsman. Not that it will probably go anywhere. The TGA is most definitely lying about their data, not just in the database of adverse event notifications, but also blatantly when asked direct questions in person (think John Skerritt...) and in email. After ignoring me for almost 6 weeks, the TGA then glossed over my concerns and then discarded them completely when I asked for more specific detail (about why the TGA said only 9 of the approximate 600 deaths mentioned on their website WERE attributed to the covid injections - so what, were about 590 doctors wrong about the other deaths?). I was told by the TGA person that I could have no more information regarding this 'publicly available information'. I'm tempted to put in an FOI, but I think I know what would happen there - I'd be stonewalled as well.

We need a court case against the TGA - and fast.

Thanks for this! I tracked the original article in Italian and translated it via Google translate, which by the way, did a far better job with Italian to English than it does with Japanese to English. Here is the English version of the article.

Franco Bechis 21 October 2021 a a a

“According to the new report (which had not been updated since July) from the Higher Institute of Health on mortality from Covid, the virus that brought the world to its knees would have killed far less than a common flu. It seems a bizarre and no vax statement, but according to the statistical sample of medical records collected by the institute, only 2.9% of the deaths registered since the end of February 2020 would be due to Covid 19. So of the 130,468 deaths registered by official statistics at the time of preparation of the new report only 3,783 would be due to the power of the virus itself. Because all the other Italians who lost their lives had from one to five diseases which, according to the ISS, therefore already left them little hope. Even 67.7% would have had more than three contemporary diseases together, and 18% at least two together. Now I personally know many people, but none who have the misfortune of having five serious illnesses at the same time. I would like to trust our scientists, then I go to read the ailments listed which would be no secondary reason for the loss of so many Italians and I begin to feed some profane doubts. According to the ISS, 65.8% of Italians who are no longer there after being infected with Covid were ill with arterial hypertension, that is, they had high blood pressure. 23.5% were also demented, 29.3% added some diabetes to their ailments, 24.8% also atrial fibrillation. And that's not enough: 17.4% already had sick lungs, 16.3% had had cancer in the last 5 years; 15.7% suffered from heart failure, 28% had ischemic heart disease, 24.8% suffered from atrial fibrillation, more than one in ten were also obese, more than one in ten had a stroke, and others albeit in a smaller percentage, he had severe liver problems, dialysis and autoimmune diseases.“

Here is the title in the original language.

Gran pasticcio nel rapporto sui decessi. Per l'Iss gran parte dei morti non li ha causati il Covid

Expand full comment

Wow! What made this come about?

Expand full comment

Probably ADE. Since the people dying in Italy are now fully vaccinated simply due to the vaccinated status, they do not wish to show low Vaccine Effectiveness.

This way, they can make Covid be a sudden illness only and write-off the deaths of other healthy adults to "comorbidities". This is what they did in Singapore when they realized the numbers were not looking good, they decided to stop reporting deaths by vaccine status and instead started writing general statements like "Most had multiple co-morbidities".

Given that we live in a world where virtually anyone can be labelled "co-morbid" (example: A Sumo Wrestler would be classified as morbidly obese, but they've not died in record numbers in Japan because obesity is not a marker of un-health or risk by itself), this is a very sneaky way to hide the deaths of people who were healthy and got Vaxxed out of business.

Just my theory.

Expand full comment

Thanks for the explanation. It still seems that by dropping the covid case counts it shows the case numbers were inflated all along. I see that as a good thing. If even a few people can see that they are trying to hide the vaccine failure rate, then maybe there will be some progress in waking people up.

Expand full comment

I think adherence to definitions is what reality is based on. Whether the cases were inflated or not, the definition played a role in people's individual ability to know what partially afflicted a person at the time of death.

I think whether something is causal or not cannot be decided conclusively and is always subject to revision upon new knowledge (say, it's discovered that persons who died in an motor accident were not just co-incidentally vaccinated/covid+ recently, but that some causal link is discovered that shows specific kind of motor accident happening due to a specific disability that is caused by the underlying condition, say paralysis)

but they have no justification to change it now after they've used that definition to convince people about their risks of death from that cause. Actions were justified based on that definition and the relative safety promised by taking a course of action.

Changing the definition is akin to changing the rules in the middle of the game when they were losing. This is not fine. Many people might die with Covid where the vaccine made it worse. How are we to detect that signal if they change it now?

If we accept this manipulation, we will accept anything. They will vaccinate the whole world against a mystery disease and they will change the defitnion of the disease after they've vaccinated the world. This is not good. this is being played.

Expand full comment

There has been so much coercion of all these things you speak of and I agree, the misguided are in deep. Yet I believe (and also pray not) that when children start dying after being vaxxed, there will be an awakening. People will be up in arms about their children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbors, kids' friends, being lost to this horrible thing. It doesn't cut any deeper than that.

Expand full comment

I fear you are wrong. To do so would involve the parents accepting that they failed their children by accepting the information authorities fed them with out doing their own research. Many will find it easier to blame the unvaccinated instead.

Expand full comment

But before children die, the parents will die. Children have a better immune system and the viruses that make it out of their bodies after vaccination will be something the parents and grandparents will not be able to deal with and die suddenly.

We will see infant mortality rise as your predict but they are making it undetectable!

Expand full comment

I agree except that the previous definition was used to create huge numbers that were then compared, explicitly or implicitly to numbers for other diseases that were measured using the definition that is being reverted to. These inflated numbers caused the panic that allowed them to implement all these countermeasures against a relatively benign disease, for most, including now, vaccine mandates.

They are not changing the definition now, they are returning to the old method of defining a cause of death.

Expand full comment

Absolutely agree that it was the reason the whole world went into lockdown. The Italy figures was caused the lockdown. I'm saying that their reason to revert back to counting things the old way is not just a matter of restoring normalcy, it's also motivated by an instinct to prevent assessment of performance of the most important healthcare measure they are forcing on others. Vaccine.

Expand full comment

Not sure that it affects anything, but we had a young sumo wrestler die of Covid early on. But I think just the one.

Expand full comment

Yes, the diabetic one. 27. That's when I realized that these people should be dropping dead like flies but the only one that we'd heard of was someone with diabetes and the reason he died many claim is because he was denied hospital care due to the confusion before the Olympics was cancelled in 2020.

I then started looking into it, and realized that obesity cannot possibly be a risk factor for Covid because the most obese people on earth - Sumo Wrestlers, literally made it through the pandemic and we heard of only 1 case that was a person with diabetes and most likely died not due to Covid lethality but because of Hospital bureaucracy and trying to save beds for elderly.

If the public health experts told people with High BMI that they should eat healthy like a Rikishi and wrestle for fun, then we'd have 30x more people willing to improve their health but instead we tell people that their problem is their weight. It's not the weight, it's the lack of physical stress put on the body at regular and sustained intervals. The body can be healthy at any shape. I know that if Covid hit me or a Sumo wrestler, I'd die sooner than they would because despite my healthy athletic weight, in no way is my body ready for 6 hours of lifting other humans everyday. That gives them a certain stamina that only a healthy cardio vascular system can generate. Not one that's spending time in front of a screen.

Expand full comment

Recall that Vitamin D deficiency is permissive, if not causative, for poor Covid outcomes. Vit D is fat soluble, you need to increase your dose significantly to achieve 30 ng/ml if you are "Sumo-shaped." Diabetes enhances your vascular vulnerability as well.

Expand full comment

being shaped a certain way has not impact on susceptibility to severe disease, certainly not being Sumo-shaped as sumo wrestlers have shown to be the case. It appears the main susceptibility is an inability generate sustain power which is a sign of poor cardio-vascular stress limit. If someone can lift 400 KGs daily for a few seconds, Covid cannot develop.

Expand full comment

Interesting. I did not know the details BUT they do fit into what I know of the Japanese health care system predating Covid. Hospitals have a certain number off beds reserved for certain types of patients and routinely turn away patients due to lack of beds for THAT TYPE of patient, not as many believe, because the hospital is full. Hospitals are rarely full here, they just ran out our beds for certain types of patients but have empty beds for other types of patients. If one is the type of patient that there are few beds for, then one get a long ride in the ambulance as they try to find a hospital that will take you. They call it “taraimawashi”.

盥回し Exactly!

Thanks for confirming. The thing was, at that time Japanese scientists were following the disease very closely since Diamond Princess and of course outbreak during the skiing festival in Hokkaido, TV was doing it non-stop 24/7 since early January. That's how most of us got to know this was going to be big early, based on scientific studies from Japan but the western media ignored it for a whole month. They even released the statistic about indoor to outdoor transmission ratio of 18.6x higher as early as March 2020 in pre-print. NHK the national broadcaster was constantly explaining the developments as soon as they had information, but the western press was too arrogant to listen. Anyway, the Japanese scientists also made the mistake of assuming that beds have to be kept for elderly when they didn't need to as you explained. That poor soul died due to incorrect improperly adapted policies to failed predictive modeling.

I agree, the vaxxed get it and if the vaxxed are high risk they go like they had no vaxx......

So may be the vaxx cuts infection rate for risky subjects, but only for a short while.

The DNA/MRNA vaxxes load you up with antiboies, like taking regeneron that last a few months in advance of illness.

To me sounds like regeron for the risky once they get it is superior to these 'therapies in advance', and less risky for long term disease profile from the vaxx.

Expand full comment

Obesity is by itself a risk factor as adipose tissues are full of ACE-2 receptors. Sumo wrestlers while technically obese are also otherwise very healthy. Age is the single biggest risk factor though by a wide margin.

Expand full comment

I do not disagree but I was making the distinction that the statistical association (or lack of) a measurement (Morbid Obesity = Weight/Height^2 above 40 cannot in it self be considered a state of being diseased!! And we shouldn't mistake our model indicators for the actual thing itself. A SARS-COV-2 positive test is not COVID either in that sense and we have to verify rather than infer the morbidity.

They can use definitions as vaccuous as "Multiple co-morbidities" or "Morbidly Obese" to write off unexpected deaths of perfectly healthy people who had no disease of any kind.

Expand full comment

There have been a few studies out that show obese people on avg tend be more symptomatic and have higher viral loads. I agree that PCR tests as implemented have flaws, but I don't think it is relevant to this particular issue. It is the abundance of ACE-2 receptors in the adipose tissue that appears to make individuals with higher BF% more susceptible. Morbidily obese people also tend to have poor immune function.

Expand full comment

Once again, you are correctly pointing out the relevant details underlying those associations making it clear that the associations are not the morbidity. The morbidity in this case would be the lethargic cell signaling in people who tend to have high visceral fat. A very specific kind of observation. I'm not saying that obesity is a sign of health, I'm saying that obesity is sign of some prolonged and durable condition the obese person possibly had. In the case of Sumo wrestler, its natural selection pushing a form that succeeds at a prestigious sport invented a few centuries ago. This body type has greater than 35% body fat, possibly the fattest people on average. A resting metabolic rate that's lower than average. If you look at the biometrics of a Sumo Wrestler, they are literally dying 1000 times from covid if our statistical models are even slightly correct. Plenty of adiposity for the ace2 receptor exploitation. But it doesn't happen, despite the predictions because it's fundamentally mislabelling a parameter inference with the existence of underlying chronic susceptibility. Once again, the problem is using statistic to infer causality when statistics are only giving us emergent phenomenon that can have very different underlying forces that shaped it.

My problem is that we are over medicalizing everything and not looking at the complexity. If obesity or age truly killed people, Japan would have highest fatalities and Sumo wrestlers the worst hit.

This is flatly wrong, so this should enable us to refine the associations against lazy statistical inferences because it penalizes the people who aren't at risk, unjustly, and misidentifies the underlying cause of the risk with a specificity that can enable action. Most Morbidly Obese people who are at risk are at risk likely because their biological functions are not stressed or have some kind of hormonal imbalance that is uncontrolled. If Morbid obese people are told that working out and playing instead of losing weight will increase their protection instantly, they wouldn't be feeling helpless and trapped waiting for a pill or vaccine. This reduces risk for them instantly as the viscera is where all the chronic signalling issues prevent immune system function. As you said, the fat doesn't help, but it's the lack of stress the body is trained to handle consistently which is the issue. Not the fat, which is coincidental.

Expand full comment

Japanese Paper before Vaccines From November 2020 thought susceptibility was not linked to age because they found people in Japan not dying from it in high numbers compared to Italy. The progression of disease once infected was highly correlated with age but the susceptibility to infection was not.

https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-020-73777-8#Fig2

"Indeed, unrealistically different φs among these three countries are required to explain their age distribution of mortality for both settings, (i) age-independent mortality, and, (ii) the fraction of infections that becomes symptomatic among all COVID-19 cases, fs, does not depend on age. Although we cannot fully reject the existence of age-dependency in susceptibility, our results suggest that it does not largely depend on age, but rather that age-dependency in severity highly contributes to the formation of the observed age distribution in mortality."

In fact, they didn't notice something but I did, that one of their graphs now looks exactly like UK's infection curves in the vaccinated by age. This is due to the increase in susceptibility of vaccinated rather than a change in Covid's course. Covid always tried to hit everyone, but only few were initially susceptible, now far more are. This is why we can't let them change definitions as we would then have to trust only all-cause mortality. As the morbidity designations are fraught with human bias and expectation, even if the virus is still in the body and killed someone you didn't think died of it because they were younger and not susceptible. They always were susceptible to infection regardless of age, what the age does is reduces the capacity to clear an infection but age has no connection with the bodies ability to block an infection as we see now clearly in UK. The middle aged people are more infected than the elderly.

See this death data from UK by vaccine status to understand the shell game being played here.

https://twitter.com/OS51388957/status/1455658811394596867

That picture should concern you more than retrospective reclassifications of death, because they're trying to tell people it's okay to die if you have a "co-morbidity" which is coincidental with 21 days after vaccination. This way, we will keep being fooled by risk factor analysis when they carry out corpses under our noses. A Sumo Wrestler could die in 21 days post vaccination and be written of as "male in thirties, morbid obesity, possible metabolic syndrome". Is this how we want to prevent the innocent dying due to corruptible and unethical people in power?

Expand full comment

It is beyond bizarre that a virus must always be the cause of death if it is found in the body of the deceased regardless of the deceased actions of health yet the actions of man can not be even considered as contributing to death after the action is taken.

A 22 year old dies in a motorcycle accident the postmortem covid test comes back positive, its a covid death. Someone dies after taking the shot and the shot has nothing at all to do with it. Amazing.

As someone on the ground in Australia, firstly they are under pressure from the states poor management of the hospital system. My sister, an RN, wants to leave working in a suburban Hospital to go rural because the mismanagement and population base is less. At her current hospital its the simple things that are causing it. Nurses having to wait for dr's before taking x-rays etc, people with headaches clogging the ER, meaning that people having cardiac events are being treated on the ramp in the back of an ambulance. We've all known about the poor management of hospitals for years, it's literally been the substance of election campaigns for as long as I can remember. But it's such a mess, no one can fix it. I actually don't think we've even begun to see the issues from the vaxx filter through yet. “There is evidence that there is some delayed reaction to Covid.” Whut? Is that even a thing? You either have Covid or you don’t.

Expand full comment

This certainly points to the vaccine as a likely cause. Vaccine adverse events look a lot like covid side effects. So people are showing up in the hospital with covid like issues but are negative for covid. Hmm ..

I think he referred to delayed diagnosis from people avoiding hospitals 2020. But thats BS, since they had summer and literally no cases 12-6months ago.

Gosh, so hard to know! I sense that this is already being fluffed as 'secondary effects of Covid', which is why they are desperate to jab up the control group as quickly as possible so they can continue this ruse until the last pyre is lit.

It's time for Australia's own Let's Go Brandon. We bring these morons down slowly but surely through mockery, not direct confrontation. Just merciless mockery and wilful ignorance of their diktats where possible. More people are slowly starting to see what has happened and aren't happy. There is no chance of vaccine passport or ongoing boosters now. We aren't far from revolution. As people start to see we've been conned, and possibly put at risk the tide will turn

...really lllooovvveee Australia ... when I was there in 1993 the people were so nice and the beautiful landscapes and wildlife... so I’m praying you guys can turn things around💕💕💕

One thing that strikes me is that Australia is relatively unique in combining high vax rates with low levels of exposure to the virus. Most other places that have vaccinated a lot have had most of their population already exposed to the virus. No idea if that is relevant.

Well, we will find out, won't we...

I'll be sure to wear my parachute so I can jump safely from the burning plane....! :-(

FYI, Australians are a bit of a dumb lot overall, so they'll just do what they're told. So long as they can have their beer & sausage sandwich on the weekend with their mates, you can do anything to them. They're mostly just consumers these days, as a whole, even though individually there are some very nice people living here. Perhaps our past as prisoners in chains is still upon us. I'm not saying ALL Australians are like this, but a lot are. There's a lot of self-centeredness in this country, and that 'mateship' people talk of is long dead. We're not the same country we used to be...

It's hard to connect the dots, even when they line themselves up for you, when you have the cognitive capacity of a cabbage. These people have zero critical thinking skills despite having gone to the most prestige institutions of higher learning in the world because "learning" these days consists nothing more than regurgitating information that has been spoon-fed. It's the unavoidable product of this delusion under which academia operates: we already know everything; therefore, there is no reason to discuss or debate anything.

Non-COVID confirmed ED Visits would appear to have risen in lockstep with an increasing number of people receiving 1st shot. Now, as I say in my post, could be purely coincidental... could be ED visits always are rising at this time of year. I can't find prior years data on this & I'm not in the medical field, so I don't know. Hoping someone out there can help me.

It's way past time we started getting serious.

As part of a move towards being serious I'd suggest we all contact our local hospitals and have them tell us what their treatment protocols are planned to be for their covid patients if they get any.

You do realise it is quite on the cards they'd let you suffer or die rather than give you ivermectin, for instance, don't you?

You do realise they have been giving midazolam and actually killing people (not in Aus. I hope, but maybe, definitely elsewhere) ?

You do realise - this is probably the best question considering the Australia of today - that you have a right to know what treatment a hospital might give you? And even have a say in it?
