last week i asked for your help with a non-profit that is near and dear to me. nuzzles takes in the injured and afraid, the animals that other shelters cannot, and this is a difficult year for fundraising. it has put this mission in jeopardy.
bad cattitude is already one of nuzzles’ largest donors. i was hoping we could do more.
and you came through.
bad cattitude readers donated over $25,000 to nuzzles in 3 days. make no mistake, this matters. it changes lives. it saves lives.
from the bottom of my dark little feline heart: thank you.
because they all deserve a chance to go from here:
to here:
and if that isn’t worth a second round of memes, well, i just don’t know what is.
so buckle up, here comes my ted talk:
from a kinder time. a simpler time.
and perhaps a less confusing time.
a time with less recrimination.
and a bit more joy.
memes of timeless insight
because animals are a part of human lives.
and we’re here to help:
and even when you blame us for that which was not our fault
we’ll still be there where you least expect us
telling it like it is.
and keeping it real.
thanks again guys.
this means more than you’ll ever know.
It’s a testament to you that I contributed. I’m tired of contributing to causes and institutions that wind up not being worthy. Your endorsement was all I needed to contribute with confidence. Rock on Gato, and thanks!
We love cats, all of them irrespective of color, pattern, temperament, or place of origin. Sadly though, our daughter's newest rescue died in her arms this past Saturday of FIP. It just tore through him and there was nothing that worked to help him. RIP, Sampson. We're all still in shock.
