Made me cry. 😭 - what we have done to kids is criminal.

Not “we”. What *they* (politicians, bureaucrats, administrators, boards, etc.) have done is criminal, and they need to be held accountable. At the very least they need to be removed from their positions effective immediately.

Lone Ranger: Well, Tonto my old friend, it looks like they've got us surrounded. Looks like we are finished.

Tonto: What do you mean "we", white man?

***

The use of the term "we" to describe actions taken by the rulers is yet another example of the collectivist euphemisms that have polluted our language, and therefore our thinking.

Groups do not act. Individuals act. There is no "social justice", only individual justice.

This may seem to be squabbling over semantics. It is not. This sort of "groupthink" is an instrumental tool for collectivists to divide and isolate segments of the population so that resistance to their horrors and depredations can be conquered piecemeal, while allies can be manipulated and controlled with carrots and sticks.

Perception is reality. Collectivists have been allowed to define reality in terms of groups rather than individuals, which is fundamental to most of what ails us as a society.

A key step in resisting tyranny is rejecting the thought and language patterns that justify it.

"Racism is simply an ugly form of collectivism, the mindset that views humans strictly as members of groups rather than individuals. Racists believe that all individuals who share superficial physical characteristics are alike: as collectivists, racists think only in terms of groups. by encouraging Americans to adopt a group mentality, the advocates of so-called "diversity" actually perpetuate racism. Their obsession with racial group identity is inherently racist. The true antidote to racism is liberty."

The people/parents helped do this. Those who have complied and been too cowardly to say no or do whatever it takes to keep this from happening are to blame as well. If I still had children at home I would have done whatever I had to... top ramen and a tent if need be... to keep this from happening to my children. Masks were never lawful. They were "rules" made up out of no where. I do get your point for sure tho

Expand full comment

I so agree! Parents are just as responsible as the ‘system’ that required the masking of children. They didn’t stand up, they complied, slapped a mask on their children and went on down the road. And they cannot use the lame cop out of “what else was I supposed to do”. There was always another alternative, but if you don’t have a spine, nor the Mama Bear or Papa Bear attitude that you will protect your children at all costs, then you get what you get…a psychologically damaged child who be dependent and compliant, just as you were!

Never understood the children thing. They are the future.

Early on I remember a conversation about the risks to society. Discussing the measures. In theory, the society would recognize that the sick, lame, old.. are expendable in a crisis. Not callously expendable, it is not about wishing them harm. Rather the tribe must endure.. and it will through its children. The past can be reasonably sacrificed if the future can be secured.

Measures were taken for the now.. and not the future.

These kids are going to need the entire world to help normalize their human experience.

"they are the future"...exactly, which is why they must be acclimatised and brainwashed. Oldies are toast and no need to convince them, the younger generations are the ones the whole control thing is aimed at. We all know how successful that ahs been in the West's education systems, the brainwashing is almost complete, now the physical accustomisation (is that a word?) to control measures is afoot.

Expand full comment

This is exactly why, because these kids are our future, and according to the WEF, we have none.

The future - as we stand now - belongs exclusively to WEF's "young future global leaders", their clones and machines. The whole planet, kingdom of a small cabal of brainwashed, with Schwab as their God. No room or need for useless eaters.

This is why all this abuse and oppression is inflicted on the "pure bloods".

We don't want to die, as ordered.

Expand full comment

No. Measures were indeed taken for the future. Just not the future as you imagine. That is the crux: the war over who we are - and whether or not we have a say in our future. Why do you think they ALWAYS go after the children?

The moral and righteous choices of how our kids' lives are to be lived is the battlefront. Not "masks" or "public health/safety". To determine how you are to rear your children, is to own you. To hand them over to this unrighteous authority, is to own your future.

Not being able to decide what is best for your child because covid is not a casualty of the moment, but merely a slightly starker proposition relative to those already behind us in a long progression toward a future that does not belong to you.

Our culture is already well down river of such compromises with evil.

"Your kids belong to us" said aloud is only possible because our shared past has already been set aflame, long since deemed unrighteous and sinful to the moral arbiters of Progress, the continuity of who we are broken so that it can be cleansed of original sin and remade into something else.

Not because some "unprecedented" covid emergency. In fact, the perpetual dire circumstance of the "now" is precisely what we call Progress; the highest moral value in the land animated by these never-ending emergencies and threats dragged through time.

Covid is not a cause but a symptom.

Their version of the future has been in the works for a long time already. Their future, we have been told time and again, is inevitable.

The incremental destruction of the past and the perpetual yoking of the present to plow toward their version of that future has now become how we define who we are and what we value. Our children do not need the entire world, they need their parents to fight the actual fight for the right to define who we are and the future in which they will live.

Gato, for some time now, I have been tring to get sample masks tested to understand exactly what is in them and how they behave in situ: chemicals (dyes, fabric treatments, possible fire retardants, volatiles), particles, etc. Every argument in favor of masking seems to fall back upon ' well, it can't hurt.' How do we know this? What happens when these are worn 8 hours a day for years? What occurs when the fabric, paper, or plastic is exposed to moisture, elevated temp, even chewed (little kids)? WE DON'T KNOW. I've appealed to our Board of Ed and chem dept. faculty I know at a local univ. There is no interest. No one wants to touch this. Many masks come from China. Fabric masks made in USA may use bolts of fabric from China. What chemicals are in these?

I have finally found a lab that, hesitatingly, agreed to test some samples. I am so concerned that we are a few years away from an epidemic of lung cancers and other lung diseases in our children. I have no idea if this lab will come through, so I leave this appeal with anyone with access to an appropriate lab/equipment. What is in these masks and what occurs to them when breathed through 8+ hours a day?

Apart from being of no use whatsover regarding this tiny respiratory virus, these facial masks before were only being used in CONTROLLED settings like hospital to make sure they r properly used and exchanged to limit their harm when perverting into a retro-infection petri dish for all kinds of breathed out germs when a critical mass is being breathed back in, or CO2 poisoning ... apart from the fact that they WORSEN the respiratory infection risk: as germs encapsulated within droplets are being spit into the mask that afterwards works like a multiplying vaporizer with every additional out-going breath ...

This blog is as close to a complete catalogue of all the worst pro-mandate arguments as we have. I gotta say, "There's no need to get rid of X restriction because I/someone I know/some group of people can put up with it" is one of my least favourites. Yesterday I saw someone claim that there's no urgency to stop masking children because if the Canadian Women's hockey team can play a whole game in masks, it can't be that big a deal. The fact that people will do lots of things they wouldn't otherwise do when coerced is usually elided in this argument.

Like so much illuminated by the covid response, the real question is whether people will accept that the covid is some 'unprecedented' condition that has suddenly created this anti-child, anti-science behavior in the teachers or if they will keep peeling the wallpaper.

We have a culture that has seen fit to ritually abuse children for fiat virtue and to quell the fear and anxiety of a spiritually vacant and socially cannibalistic lives.

Cultures that sacrifice their children are not long for the world. The covid and the masks and concentration camp schoolyards are low-hanging fruit. But what of 'climate change', 'systemic racism', rainbow mafia, and the rest of the identity politik that has been torturing and poisoning kids for generations? Will that mask come off?

Agree. All things borne of the inversion will fall. The problem is those things have been allowed to supplant our natural social infrastructure, aka what the kids believe to be "the real world", for quite a while.

Entropy is rather unforgiving to those proximate to its wont. Time plus gravity, on bridges built by the theater club. How dare you! Set designers are quite talented.

But who will pay to build a new bridge when the Director of progress walks off the job? Will they (who are they? Exactly.) even know how? We haven't even gotten the bill for the first Hamilton bridge yet.

Long ago our people decided the kids would pay. Not their kids, but your kids. Well not your kids, but somebody else's kids. Maybe not OUR kids today, but perhaps their kids-kids someday. Thats the mask of rationalization to prevent the logic from being taken to its obvious conclusion.

Covid masks on kids are just one of a multitude of signs of that, if one cares to look, starts to reveal the right questions, which are more important than debating "facts" in a post-fact culture run by psychopaths and demons and men in sundresses.

When you ask the right questions, e.g. for what purpose? you get the right answers: obviously masks work. Now you begin to see the error and futility of the debate over the wrong questions, as defined by our enemies. A better solution: shovel+tarp+lime. Like in the before times when we had a social immune system.

So, when the masks go away, does asking the right questions go away too? Thats my beat. I am optimistic, but also skeptical. Which seems contradictory, except that we are on the internet. Anything is possible!

Hatefacts! The good news is the Truth is on our side. The bad news is that we rely too much upon that truth when debating the enemies of the Truth itself after they have already asserted their will upon us.

We use reason and evidence but too often apply it downstream of accepting the premise of their argument as legitimate and moral. It is not, on either count.

How well masks work is irrelevant. To enter into such debates affords their anti-reality legitimacy. To win such debates with facts is to toss the rabbit into his briar patch.

Given what we already know of child development, further informed by simple observable reality over the past two years, setting aside the generations of experience turned on upside down or buried, to muzzle kids is so far off the plot it can only be summed up as Satanic and thus negotiating with anything less than cleansing fire is futile.

Writer Daniel Horowitz recently posted a message on Twitter that his speech therapist sister sent to him. It's horrifying what she is seeing in little kids who have been wearing masks. The quote is:

My sister who is a speech therapist in MD just texted me: “The speech issues I see with three and four year olds that have been masked I’ve never seen before in 22 years. So much low muscle tone, drooling, unusual articulation errors on early developing sounds…”

More from my speech therapist sister: "This kid’s whole mouth area was chapped from the drool accumulated around the mask. She can’t achieve lip closure for the B M and P sounds because her lips are so chapped."

"Even if the kids were not masked, all of the adults are masked, and the children can’t see the oral motor movements made by the adults. They don’t know that to produce a B sound the lips have to come together.

"One child today didn’t realize that you have to put your tongue behind your teeth to produce a T sound. This is a typically developing child in all other areas.

"These types of articulation errors are usually seen with children who have neurological impairments or syndromes with associated speech and language impairments. I’ve never had so many referrals in my life for young healthy children with such severe articulation impairments." (Link: https://twitter.com/RMConservative/status/1491417997470277646)

It's amazing that in our hyper-risk averse response to a bad flu year, so little thought was given to the risks we were forcing on children.

Not from Covid, they were never at any meaningful risk from that and we knew that from the beginning.

From an unnecessary, essentially untested (especially in children), experimental "vaccine" for a disease they barely got and fought off easily.

From socialization years, years that can never be replaced, lost to pointless masking.

From mindless "Social distancing" (an Orwellian term if ever there was one) that someone pulled out of their arse and served no real-world purpose.

From (even more) sub-standard Zoom schooling (gotta give the teacher's union credit for coming up with an even less useful education system).

From imbecilic lock downs that kept them prisoner indoors to no good purpose and for no good reason.

Every NPI and PI used, most of which would have been unthinkable pre-2020, inflicted the maximum amount of damage, especially to children, and no measurable benefit.

It's hard to believe that was random chance.

As a society we should be ashamed, and we should demand that those responsible pay for their unconscionable and indefensible crimes against an entire generation.

The barest minimum of common sense would tell the mom that masking is pointless—otherwise all the unmasked would be sick and everyone would learn from observation that masking is necessary. Then there’s the damage to the children’s brain development and other problems.

What should be done with the "educators" who have tortured our nation's children with these horrible masks?

Clearly those who _ordered_ the mask mandates should be given a fair trial, then hanged for their heinous crime against humanity. That's just obvious.

But what about the rank and file "educators" who did not order, but did implement this policy of mass torture? They are not anywhere near the same class of criminal as those who gave the orders. Yet nevertheless they have done something evil, they have harmed the children whose care had been entrusted to them.

Not all teachers wanted this. Some must surely have enforced the muzzle mandate reluctantly, under duress (either torture the kids with masks, or lose your job and your home). These teachers are not heroes, but neither are they horrible villains. Perhaps they should be given a modest fine - no one gets away with this evil scott free - then let off the hook.

On the other hand there are many stories of teachers who eagerly & sadistically enforced the mask mandates, reveling in the vicious evil of their petty power over the children. These "teachers" are real criminals. They should be jailed for a couple years. Then barred for life from any position where they would interact with other people's children.

The hard part is separating the two classes, filtering the sadistic criminals out from the scared & complacent masses.

The mask thing on children is easy to understand if you understand that married parents are a conservative voting bloc, not progressive. Once you grok that, it makes sense.

I truly wish all the Karens and Neils would be MANDATED to watch this !

Since masking almost certainly correlates to vaccinating, the increase in cases among masked is probably the negative efficacy of the vaccine at work. In data like this, they can't pull the 2 week efficacy shift.

I'm praying for s BIG REVOLT in my district. It's time for large numbers to stop complying. The scary thing is that these are the people charged with educating our children. Clearly, no matter the number of fancy letters behind their names, they aren't qualified. It's hard to comprehend such a large number of "educated" adults being so ignorant or evil, maybe both in one place. Well, then again, look at the Senate, Congress, and Biden. What a mess!!

half the children were maskless. Kudos to the parents and the teacher. Nevada's government, esp. Clark county, are repressive cesspools. You'd think not what with all the debauchery, but you'd be wrong. Not everything goes. Mostly those dirtiest of words - personal liberty.

She is hearing impaired, and it’s a new school, and she can’t see anyone’s faces, and can’t hear what they are saying. I can’t begin to describe my rage toward our Prime Minister (Jacinda Ardern) and all the cowards who support who.

The video made me tear up a bit. Gosh what people have been doing to kids is so evil. I wish more parents would stand up for them.

Like many of your readers, whom I consider my sisters and brothers in this time of dissociation, I was initially uplifted by the joy, and then plunged into renewed rage at the cynical cruelty of the past two years. I wish Hanna Arendt were alive and immune from the hypocrisy of the liberal elite (and I fear she would not be). But surely, this is the “banality of evil”.

Grandson in Helena MT was so excited after Christmas that they didn’t have to mask. Now a couple weeks ago they put it back and recommended N95 for kids??? He’s in kindergarten. His mom sent him with a 1 layer cloth mask. Helena is a blue city in a red state.
