My son worked for a company that manufactured pipe for the oil and gas industry. Dangerous business. People were hurt and people died. But it was cheaper to pay the OSHA fines than fix their process, so that’s what they did. When they tried to promote him he quit. He wasn’t going to be a front man for that

Candy Farnsworth, I’ve worked in the oil and gas industry for almost 40 years. You wouldn’t believe what I’ve seen. It’s a very dangerous and corrupt industry.

I think that almost all industry is corrupt. But the more they’re accommodated, the worse it is
