I think this nails the whole thing. People fought, and are still fighting with each other about 'trusting' the authorities, and 1/2 of that argument never stops to ask the question:

So the other half comes off as some crazy schizos that now can't be trusted to have a sound opinion on anything. And that's all as if the outright lying by the knowing-authorities wasn't enough. And as if it wasn't enough that taxpayer money paid for a lot of it while the liars lined their pockets with the profits, after we paid them for it the second time also.
The question is, how do we stop paying the people in charge entirely??? Until then, agree or disagree, we're still paying for it out of each paycheck.
