I thought covid was a ridiculous overreaction from the start. But I was desperate to get the world back to normal, and I had previously done a medical trial and it worked out fine. I had two friends sign up for COVID trial and they got their shots in Oct 2020. I thought I would also volunteer-I am over 50 and overweight. Of course they needed people like me, right? Well the night before my appointment, it was cancelled. They no longer needed my "demographic". Wait, what? I am your target market!!! It made me suspicious. And when I found out in Jan 2021 from my friends that the control group had been vaccinated, I was thankful to have dodged that bullet. And it truly was a bullet. I can't imagine the fear I would have today if I had taken that shot. I might die suddenly but at least it is from natural causes and not that poison.
