Squads of black clad polizei accosting little old ladies on the street for not wearing a mask or being where they're not supposed to be. It's dystopian...like a sci-fi movie. We haven't seen anything like it here in the US. We have the opposite problem...the police stand by while "peaceful protestors" riot, burn, loot, kill. I believe the riots last summer were probably an effort to keep Americans from realizing the bizarre overreactions to this virus were happening all over the world.
The VAERS was updated this afternoon. "Of the 5,165 deaths reported as of May 28, 24% occurred within 48 hours of vaccination, 16% occurred within 24 hours and 38% occurred in people who became ill within 48 hours of being vaccinated."
But the "vaccines" haven't been pulled or paused...and they're still pushing vaccines for little kids. Something is very wrong. Fauci's prevarications and lies don't explain what's happening in countries all over the world. The "revelations" are a distraction, so people won't look elsewhere.
The opposite question I have, is, it seems some countries either never were much affected or are well over it entirely. Africa general never seemed much affected, much of Asia. I've seen speculations that there are large genetic variation in human's susceptibility. Chile's indigenous links creating large burdens. Hard to make sense of it all but tentatively I see:
The age factor is large and overlooked. Africa has a younger population.
Racial/genetic differences are ignored. PC blindness.
The West is consumed with the "bizarre overreactions" and horrid self-inflicted errors.

The US has an older and less healthy population, which likely played a role...although given the number of hospitalizations at the peak I have to wonder if any of this was real.
Some believe East Asia, SE Asia, and Australia/New Zealand have pre-existing cross-immunity from other coronaviruses that provided some level of community protection. Apparently, South America does not have much experience with coronaviruses.
Some ethnic groups have a higher number of co-morbid risk factors. African Americans, apparently, express the ACE2 receptor more than other groups, which I gather makes infection more likely after exposure.
Vitamin D deficiency has definitely played a role, especially for those with darker skin living in northern climates with less sunlight. The sunlight/Vitamin D connection as well as a younger population might explain Africa.

She's flat out lying to scare parents into submitting their children to an experimental genetic therapy using an experimental technology never before approved for use in human beings to protect them from a virus that doesn't threaten them.
Case study. The IVM story is fascinating. Been following a long time. In many countries , an apparently very effective COVID treatment is available for $.10 to $1-6 / 12mg dose. In the US, effective cheap medicines are so suppressed to be nearly unavailable. Must. Be. Expen$ive$$$$$$$. $3000 remdesivir. They don't care if it works as medicine because it's very expensive. Who's the evil empire now?
Why? Institutional corruption in short. If you provide incentives to lie, promote them, suppress descent over time a large number of otherwise fairly good people will go along and defend the system out of laziness and habit. The worst people rise to the top. Sometimes to extreme extents like this. And far worse. History shows that. You'll likely think it's just fine.
She strikes me as utterly evil and turns my stomach.
Theory/prediction: Fauci's defense will be "i was told by the intelligence community not to reveal that we knew that the virus was in fact a bioweapon" if it ever gets that far (i.e. he is forced to answer questions under oath).
Prediction #2: as soon as the heat is turned up on him in the future senate hearings, it will all just evaporate into thin air.
