Well, just take an aspirin a day if you get “the sniffles” as since this virus isn’t really “a cold” but instead, a vascular virus, you don’t wanna throw a clot. So treat “a cold” as Covid with the FLCCC protocol. That is my advice, as someone who has treated many Covid patients successfully. And guess what? You’ll get through it just fine if you treat the inflammation and clotting issues. Some of you won’t need to worry about it at all. But to get through the illness, treat it as what it is: a vascular viral bioweapon.

When I was sick with Covid in late 2019 I happened to have a big 2# bag of Burdock root...and so I made tea with that...and drank it daily. High in quercitin. High in inulin. So it keeps blood sugar up when you need it most. Lucky me I didn't know what it was, but was the stickiest cold i ever had. But I am ok now. Took me a few months to gain back the 13 pounds I had lost. I thought you might want to know, Mel, the Burdock kept me out of the ER am pretty sure. Cuz thats all I ingested for a good week of that time. Best

Great news. Medicinal herbs are wonderful things from Mother Nature. Glad you muscled through it, Jacquelyn. Turmeric and nigella sativa (black seed oil) are two other great things on the FLCCC protocol.

Expand full comment

Now it's an herbal arsenal err, quiver, for sure yes....2 great books are Stephen Buhner's Herbal Antivirals and also Herbal Antibiotics....highly scientific, readable and useful, latest editions include C19 herbs and modalities.

Expand full comment

That's a good point. I think for those who don't know if they've had sars-cov2 before, it would make perfect sense to act this way if they come down with a cold. The FLCCC protocol also had the iodine rinse to help decrease viral load. I might also add NAC to the supplement list.

Expand full comment

Couldn’t agree more! Yes, nasal rinses and gargles with dilute iodine are great additions to the regimen of prevention and early treatment.

Expand full comment

Vascular yes, respiratory no? Or do both play a part. It's hard to imagine that Omicron will get into the vascular system, except possibly in rare cases.

Expand full comment

And yes, Omicron appears to not lead to cytokine storming like the previous strains. Still, if one is fragile and/or old, don’t take a chance- treat it early, regardless. Cheers.

Expand full comment

It’s entry of course, is at first respiratory, but it’s “goal” is vascular disruption at the endothelial layer and consequent micro-coagulation body-wide. An ugly little virus for some, a brush-it-off-one, for most. If one is above 40 or below that age with comorbidities in particular, the FLCCC protocol or the McCullough protocol and several other early treatment protocols will ensure that you have the best chance at surviving and thriving through Covid-19.

3) Destruction of millions of businesses through illegal policies;

Test positive, then what? "Go home resume life as normal. Call us when you can't breathe." You probably don't need a test to know if you can't breath.

One of the reasons I wanted a test is so I could know if I could go around my sister and brother who have co-morbidities and are in their 80s. Just a precaution. Still staying away until I am completely a-symptomatic. They were looking forward to Christmas with family. We don't do Covid vaccines nor do I really trust the tests. There's some margin in which the mania for testing is directly contributing to the spread of disease. Yesterday I went in for a rapid test, and had to spend seven hours sitting in a clinic waiting room with scores of people adversely selected for the fact that they had Covid symptoms. If we didn't already have the 'rona when we walked in...

(Test came up positive and they referred me for mABS. But yeah, it pretty much feels like a cold, and by the time I got tested I was already starting to feel better.)

Well, thanks for the bossy judgmental “advice”, self-appointed Spokesman for the Community. But Karenism with a mirror-universe Evil-Spock beard is just as annoying as the regular kind.

We’re Team REALITY, not Team Negation. Nobody argues that people who are ACTUALLY SICK should eschew appropriate treatment, which includes testing for proper diagnosis, just to make some kind of ideological point.

Problem is that Covid hysteria’s produced a crazy misallocation of resources. For example, mass-testing healthy people based on irrational fears of “asymptomatic” transmission, while making people who are actually sick have to wait.

Unfortunately I got sick in the real world, not my idealized one where resources are allocated more rationally. So I had to wait.

But thanks again for sharing your personal opinion about my decision to do so. :-/

Expand full comment

I've never been tested. I don't ever want to take the test. For people who are getting tested, how does result affect what they do? What do they do with the information?

Expand full comment

For healthy people, it provides reassurance that they're actually healthy and not "asymptomatic". Maybe they shouldn't need that reassurance, but that's apparently the function it serves for them.

As with a lot of Covid stuff, I think this mania for testing outwardly healthy people is simply cut-and-pasted from the response to HIV/AIDS twenty-plus years ago. It's not appropriate to something like Covid, but it's what people of my generation (including those who became today's public health "experts") grew up with.

For people who are actually sick, testing is a normal part of diagnosis and treatment, so in that situation the information's actually useful.

Dec 24, 2021·edited Dec 24, 2021

I believe this is generally true, but I do have a good friend who is struggling mightily right now with what I have to assume is omicron - he was recovering from bronchitis, so there was a pre-existing complication but still - a normal cold on top of that "might' have led to this, but I tend to think this is still worse than a cold. But, not "worse enough" on the population to warrant this crap! At the end of the day, this is a "spirit of the age" problem. Spiritual!

Expand full comment

As to your friend's diagnosis, the first hurdle is, does he have a bacterial or viral URI? I'd be most concerned that your friend has developed a bacterial pneumonia, which could linger ("walking pneumonia") or even be life-threatening without effective antibiotics.

Once it is clearly not bacterial, then what virus is it? It is not true that all bad viral URIs are caused by influenza, "the flu" is really a vernacular for a bad viral URI. "Super colds" have been noted in the UK. What they are is not clear, but they are not Covid and they are not influenza.

If he does have Covid, I believe that it is still more likely that he has Delta than Omicron, but strains can vary widely among regions.

AMEN to your closing remarks!!!

Expand full comment

Bronchitis is not pneumonia.

Expand full comment

Correct, but Darin's post does not say that his friend has bronchitis, just that he HAD ("recovering from") bronchitis, and now is "struggling mightily."

Most likely it is all bronchial, but that is not explicitly clear, and we sure would not want to miss a pneumonia. That's all.

Expand full comment

There are other clues, like 5G.

Expand full comment

Omicron attacks the bronchial tubes more than the lungs - so unfortunately it is reasonable that if he had problems there before Omicron, that would complicate things.

Expand full comment

Good news is he’s doing much better. But I’m thinking it probably was delta. Turns out the diagnosis and first treatment was very late and original symptoms were before omicron started spreading here.

Expand full comment

That's great! I needed some good news!

Early treatment is key. I had a friend of a friend die (most likely alpha, possibly delta) who did nothing for something like 5 days, until it got so bad that he could not breathe and had to be admitted.

While some healthy people can do fine without any treatment, be prudent and have an early treatment plan ready to go. I have a BMI of 22 but opened up my wallet to an online doctor and got pharmaceutical heavy artillery ready to go if needed.
