I lost a job early in the pandemic as a marketer because I, as a copywriter and editor, replaced every instance in marketing copy of "due to COVID" or "due to the COVID-19 pandemic" with "due to lockdowns" or "due to government enforced business/school closures" and refused to stop doing so.

I then lost a ton of money on my freelance sidelines as nobody had the resources or reason to invest in B2B services for businesses that weren't allowed to be open and might never (and often didn't) come back.

Those were tiny things. There was so much in the intervening 18+ months: death threats, suicidal ideation, loss of friends, loss of relationships, community crumbling, local crime exploding, being peeled off the kitchen floor by my husband one night because literally moving my legs seemed a pointless exercise in existence that had been stolen from me, cutting police padlocks off of playgrounds in the middle of the night, so much drinking, so much smoking and quitting and smoking,

to say nothing of the things that happened to people that suffered ten times worse than me or to their younger children, and me seeing it and being powerless to stop them.

I am the angriest, most cynical, most hateful, most violent-hearted, most mistrustful, most anarchic I have ever been in my life at this point- the peak? the downward curve?- of this global disaster borne of a respiratory virus with a 99%+ survival rate.

COVID didn't do it. They did.

Make them pay.

MAKE THEM HURT.

"they are 100% committed and cannot possibly fold now and take the blame."

That's the least-scary explanation. Part of me thinks their actual motives are much worse.

If we were listening to the science, we should have been done with covid as soon as the first antibody tests came back showing that we had already been living with the virus for months.

That was April 2020.

More than any time in my life, I'm connecting with several likeminded folks. I'm a Naturopathic doc practicing primary care medicine in the state of Washington. 1/3 to 1/2 of my patients daily are upset about this and can't help but discuss it.

The entire time of the pandemic, when folks say things like "the pandemic has really messed up my business," or "the pandemic has really ruined my social lie," - I correct them. Most sort of do a double take and agree. A few have become silent or just had no noteworthy response.

I think we're all going to need to stay tight together during this madness. I see so many of us even desperate to know we're not crazy, that we're not alone. The constant propaganda/gas-lighting is having an ongoing toll on us all.

I'm grateful to have found the official Gato community and regularly send links out to spread the awesome articulate grounded blogs/essays (with some good humor thrown in) of El Gato weekly. I consider this group another ally in keeping my sanity and even encouraging my "misinformation" addicted brain.

Peace

Some journalists should contact the authors of the cited pandemic guidelines document for some interviews. Perhaps start with Jennifer Nuzzo whose contact information is provided on the last page. jnuzzo@upmc-biosecurity.org

I'm re-reading 1984 - it's a refreshing break from the tyranny of our actual world and MSM news.

I found this passage especially unnerving:

"The economy of many countries was allowed to stagnate, land went out of cultivation, capital equipment was not added to, great blocks of the population were prevented from working and kept half alive by State charity. But this, too, entailed military weakness, and since the privations it inflicted were obviously unnecessary, it made opposition inevitable. The problem was how to keep the wheels of industry turning without increasing the real wealth of the world. Goods must be produced, but they need not be distributed."

"a barrage is coming as high prices, a lack of goods, and a seasonal surge in covid that vaccines could not attenuate all coincide in coming months."

EDIT: a barrage is coming as high prices, a lack of goods, and a seasonal surge in covid that vaccines CAUSED all coincide in coming months.

Spot on, their heels are dug in bc one lie begets another. But we know the truth and more truths will come to light. It is what we do with all this that has to be thought about and what next steps there will be. Strength in numbers. How few govt officials, health officials there are compared to our numbers. Take their lies and shove them right where the kitty cat's tail is!

I make sure to correct anyone I hear say covid caused this or that, even if they're a stranger. I've gotten into a few heated arguments from doing so, but this needs to be impressed upon everyone repeatedly. As a very smart gummi said a while back, "Covid-10 was always going to take its pound of flesh". Unfortunately the idiots in charge decided to add a couple hundred pounds on top of it.

I think you all should watch this four-minute rant from Dr Malone. It explains so much.

El Gato, have you seen this? They are planning to vax children from 5-11. It's positively monstrous.

I venture to say that those who complied and continue to comply with unlawful mandates allow this to be done to us. Without compliance, this would not have happened.

They need to pay. I wrote a short thread on the high crimes and madness back in June:
