Essentially right now Cornell is trying to cover their asses and get the students out of there. They don't want to have to continue testing for Covid as the case numbers have skyrocketed to unprecedented levels this past week and it's making Cornell (which if you remember was on national media just a year ago being touted as to "how to do it right" on all things Covid protocols) look bad.

The students, parents and the locals in Ithaca are bewildered, pissed and overall frightened (in all of the wrong ways for the most part.) Universally the current Cornell admins are despised and they are flailing about trying to explain what is happening with Mad Hatter logic.

That the increase in cases is happening due to the heavily vaxxed Cornell populace having their immune systems vaporized by these injections is a conversation that is off the table.

First thing to understand is that Cornell gets copious funding from the NIH/DARPA/Gates etc and this funding determines their research. It is not a stretch to say that if that funding dries up Cornell in it's current form collapses.

It is also important to understand that Cornell's board of trustees and the entire University investment portfolio is invested up to it's neck in all things Bio-Tech and are counting on this "next wave" of biomedical cash cows.

Lastly it's important to understand that Cornell upper level admins are arrogant beyond comprehension. They will NEVER admit to any failures or corruption. Everything that has been done in these past two years has been done with ZERO transparency.

I sent the following letter to 3 Cornell poobahs yesterday- if and when I get a response I will post it:

Hi ______,

The most recent letter sent out by the administration is a little confusing so I am hoping to gain some clarification on this matter and hope that you can provide some clarity on what seem to be some contradictions.

The questions I am asking are obviously in the context of soaring cases which by all standards of the past two years are unprecedented and the accompanying policy decisions both past and present.

1) In this most recent letter, it is stated that the transmission has been occurring due to travel and due to social gatherings. What is your current evidence for this?

2) In this letter it is noted that transmission has not been occurring in academic settings. What is your current evidence that supports this?

3) In this letter there is an assertion that vaccines are our best protection. Based on the two questions above does this then imply that the vaccines work in academic settings but not in social settings?

4) If the caveat is that the social settings are less likely to include mask wearing does this then mean that the vaccines only work when accompanied by a mask?

5) If there is such "spread" causing record number of "cases" isn't this a clear indication that the medical strategies that have been employed over the past year and a half (vaccines, masks and/or vaccine/mask combination) at best don't work and therefore promoting more of the same, e.g. "boosters", is doubling down on a failed strategy?

6) There are numerous universities throughout the country that are not employing the "strategies" employed at Cornell and are having little to no problem with infections or cases- this with very large social gatherings of all types. How does the administration reconcile this fact with what is happening at Cornell?

Look forward to hearing your clarification on the matter.

Thanks _______,

My name

College administrators are not selected from a group of sage, reflective, well-rounded people. They are often failed academics with a penchant for bureaucratic diktats and back slapping luncheons with wealthy donors. Others are graduates of the college who could not cut it “on the outside.”. Not a group one expects to find anything but craven cowardice and mindfuckery. The whole sector obviously needs a boot planted firmly up its arse (I say this as an academic). End student loan subsidies and the federal grant gravy train for the schools to actually compete for enrollments and private research funds and see how quickly the sector self corrects or implodes. Hopefully, more students will realize the college educations are largely a crock (does one really need a BS in Business or a BA in grievance studies?) and vote with their feet through cheaper options and apprenticeships in the private sector.

A part of me wonders whether Cornell wants to isolate students not because of health, but because they fear students will have conversations with each other about how this doesn't pass the sniff test. All you need is one student to mention to another that it looks like vaccines (and possibly the whole set of restrictions) don't work, and then a third student overhears it and--gasp!!!--starts to ask a few questions as well. If this conversation happens one too many times, they could end up with a little too much enlightenment on their hands. I suspect many Cornell students are brainwashed beyond repair, but I there have got to be at least a few who aren't. And it doesn't take a huge number to break the appearance of conensus.

Or maybe my tinfoil hat is on too tight.

The saddest part is to know that all these kids are going along, taking boosters, when they never needed the gene vaccines in the first place. I wonder how many will suffer serious health issues in the next year or so. God help them.

Related:

Auburn University, located in the state of Alabama, reported its application data for Fall 2022.

Before I get to the punch line, let's lay out the situation.

Alabama - less than 50% "full" vaxx rate.

20% boosted.

No statewide mask mandate since May 2020.

Auburn had a mask mandate in the fall, but dropped in mid-November, doubtful they'll reinstate it.

Absolutely no vaxx requirement for students. NONE.

Only Auburn-related vaxx mandate hint has been related to the federal contractor issue, and that's been dropped.

In-person classes all fall.

Here we go:

Auburn's application numbers received this fall (for 2022) are up 155% from 2019.

ONE HUNDRED FIFTY-FIVE PERCENT.

Up 78% from last fall.

What does this tell me?

That parents and students are looking around the country, seeing where things are normal, and heading there.

Matthew Walther had a piece in the Atlantic about how in his neck of the woods (small town Michigan) people are "over" Covid. The usual suspects went absolutely crazy, accusing these cretins of selfishness and so on. To me, this is evidence that he's right.

Imagine paying 50k a year for your education and living under such restrictions. Vaccine mandates, mask mandates, then you're sent back home because of "cases". Can't believe some of the most renowned universities in the world have sunk so low when it comes to covid. Is it the end of american ivy leagues ? If I was a student there I would ask to be transferred to any less crazy community college.

“i got vaxxed, boosted, and then got covid. but i’m sure it protected me!”

This is pride at work. They can't allow the obvious conclusion that they permitted themselves to be harmed.

Also, this should be thought of as egocentrism and status (subsets of pride). They can't see a position to take that will allow them to sound intelligent while questioning the push to vaccinate. Clearly this is understood on the pro-vax marketing end (public health, the media, and politicians role, likely unwittingly).

How many of those students had symptoms at all? How many had to even go to a clinic, much less a hospital? They never tell us the answers to those questions; they only go on about the number of people who only tested positive.

Infection rates don't matter when the illness is so mild as to be unnoticeable most of the time. Covid is a common cold virus that is acting exactly like a common cold virus should--mutating into more infectious and less symptomatic forms so it can replicate more.

Because that's what these viruses DO. None of these Covid restrictions are about health, obviously. They are about authoritarianism, power, control, and propaganda.

Remember when the astronauts in the movie Interstellar land on the water planet only to discover that every few minutes a gigantic wave appears?

Now imagine if those waves consisted of liquified bullshit.

This is the world we currently inhabit.

“ High above Cayuga's waters,

There’s a terrible smell…..

CORNELL!

Pinch your noses it’s so stinky!

Run and scream like Hell.

CORNELL!!! “

Hah hah hah hah

This song was great at Wharton 20 years ago and you just made the case that it’s still relevant today.

Now in all seriousness. The IVYs have all gone to shit. The administration of Cornell is brain-dead as evidence by their worthless mandatory vaccination policy which gave over a 1000 kids covid on campus. Now they blow all the infected kids back home to Infect millions on airplanes while they travel.

Gong Show!! Does presIdent Martha Bollucks even know how stupid she looks?

On the flip side, If my kid was sick, I would rather have them home to give them early treatment. Early treatment saves lives. Im sure President Martha Bollucks would just lock them in their rooms and leave them to die from cytokine storm. I know there are NO DOCTORS in crazy New York who will treat any of these kids if they actually get sick.

If you get sick with covid in New York you are Screwed. They will literally wait til you are almost dead, then intubate you and give you Remdesivir (the Tony Fauci drug that causes renal failure and a covid death spiral).

Another gato fan posted that the majority of University grant money comes from the NIH and NIADA. Of course! That’s why all these “higher education schools” are willing to force vaccinate kids at high risk of myocarditis! They just want the governments money!!! It’s utterly disgusting! 7 countries have banned Moderna for everyone under 30, and Tiwan baned Phizer. Yet, American schools administrators feel they have the right to force vaccinate our children with a product with a 2 month safety study in kids! I don’t think so! These universities should be legally liable for every case of vaccine Injury. Where are the lawsuits against higher education administrators! We need to lawyer up and come after them personally! Slap them with vaccine injury lawsuits personally so they can’t hide behind that NIH drug money. That will show them!

I hate people who say “we’ve given the vaccine to millions of people and therefore it’s safe!” That is moronic. With out LONG TERM safety data we have NO clue how the vaccine will affect our hearts, brains, reproductive systems, endocrine system, vascular system or our immune system. We have no idea if the vaccinated will all get cancer in 3 years because we have no LONG TERM Safety data.

The vaccine does not work against omicron. Drug company said so itself. Why would you ever get a booster against something that doesn’t work? We need to STOP all vaccine mandates now. FULL stop.

“The public health clown car careens on.”

I love El Gato.

Glad my daughter told Cornell to stuff it. Would be painful to have paid those morons many many thousands.

Without an innate immune system it is a bit difficult to stay alive. This will bear out, is probably doing so already. It's funny, corporations have human status these days, and humans have no status I guess. I went to the U of Michigan in the mid 1980's and could see how gov research funding was propping the science schools. Funny thing, when you sign contracts, they are binding in so many ways, they bind your soul to the government devil. Is there anyone at Cornell who is even trying to stand up in this? A few rebels? There has got to be.

This may call for a lockdown on the vaccinated.

(No, no, I am opposed to lockdowns, but if they want to "restrict [their] social activities" as Ms. Pagel is recommending, it could only be to their benefit. I know many who want to assign me and other unvaccinated Darwin Awards, and surely the quickest way to eliminate us is by making sure we're all exposed to covid while they hide in their basements, right?)
