I think you mean 'Oh, Trucking Hell!'

You have to have the exclamation.

Once a coward always a coward. He never disappoints at being disappointing.

Expand full comment

He lied. The public health guideline he mentioned does not require isolation in his situation.

"You do not need to self-isolate if you are: Fully vaccinated* (if you work/volunteer or attend a highest risk setting*** you must not attend this setting for 10 days).

Self-monitor for symptoms for 10 days."

Expand full comment

Government is a high risk setting. Didn’t you know? /sarc

Expand full comment

not Fully vaccinated (?????} /s

Expand full comment

He LIED? I'm shocked. Shocked, I say!

Expand full comment

Unless he's not vaccinated

Expand full comment

Well now, that WOULD make sense. But I saw him VERY REALISTICALLY get vxd on TV. That had to be the read deal, right?

Expand full comment

If you believe it, it must be true! 😉

Expand full comment

If you see it, it must be true.

Expand full comment

Saline.

Expand full comment

Formaldehyde, perhaps!!!!

Expand full comment

He's never mentioned whether all three of his children are vaccinated (I doubt it). He made a special appeal to children directly and told them to get vaccinated and children 12 and older can get vaccinated without their parents permission. Its disgusting

Expand full comment

So if he wants kids to get vaxxed w/o parental permission, what is next? Child marriages? How about eliminating child work reqmts? Or let them vote? Join to fight in the military? A whole series of bad bad consequences can roll out from this poorly thought out plan. Incrementalism leads to decay of the society & culture.

Expand full comment

Are you sure this isn’t part of the plan?

Expand full comment

Good point. But I think he’s just lying.

Expand full comment

But how would we ever know if he is vaxxed or not? No way of verifying if he is or isn't. Only his word.

Expand full comment

If anyone believes anyone of "importance" actually took these experimental jabs of garbage then you need to start using your thinker.

Expand full comment

Absolutely believe that. He probably got a saline injection. Like the rest of the “elites.”

Expand full comment

I cringe to think that the elites think of Trudeau as one of them. I mean, really! Elites must have standards. They probably think of him as a 'useful idiot'.

Expand full comment

My wife thinks he’s a weasel.

I asked her if she’d received permission from the weasel to use that comparison ?

Expand full comment

The only abilities hey have that allows them to call themselves elites are pathological narcissism and unremorseful lying. On those criteria trudeau is elite.

Expand full comment

that wimp wouldn't even risk that little bit of penetration.

Expand full comment

Exactly. Given all the data coming out daily, one wonders why no leader of a country hasn't had some severe reaction to the jab. One can only lie with stats but so long.

Expand full comment

Gavin Newsome (Calif Governor) had Guilles Bars Syndrome (GBS) from his second jab but denied it and hid until he recovered...

Expand full comment

Nope, you can test for spike antibodies. If he has only s antibodies he is vaxxed. If he has s and n-antibodies he had covid but could also have been vaxxed. There are even separate AB tests for vaxxed and recovered.

I guess the truckers can run an AB test on Turdy. Oh boy if he is not vaxxed!!!!

Expand full comment

To be a human being you need to have blood, so the test won't work.

Expand full comment

🦇🧛‍♀️🧛‍♂️🧛‍♂️🧛‍♀️

Expand full comment

Actually only small numbers of vaxxed who develop covid develop antibodies to the nucleocapsid. I believe I remember 26% in a paper but that seems high and I would wonder if they are effective n antibodies. I would guess that vaxxed can never develop long lasting immunity without effective n antibodies.

Expand full comment

Easy. Do the vivisection and check level of antibodies.

He lied about being vaccinated, seems even Trudeau is privately scared of the vaccine:

Plus, don't people flinch when getting a shot? And wouldn't it hurt more with more flinching since the nurse through it like a dart? Guess if questioned, the stmt would be well, he got it & this was a reenactment..sure, yup.

Expand full comment

The truckers drove 6 or 7 days and spent $5000 in fuel to get there. They got all the time in the world to wait in Ottawa, before picking up they're next load. Seriously. They are waiting until things change. Period.

Expand full comment

Even better, Justin's 5-day cowering session will give more time for more truckers (and new supporters) to join in.

Expand full comment

Are they going to be picking up their next load any time soon? I don’t think so.

Expand full comment

Trudeau will drop a load for them in a couple days.

Expand full comment

🤣🤪🤣

Expand full comment

that was soooo predictable... was waiting for his excuse to be away from Ottawa. There was a couple of choices : family emergency, unexpected vacations, being sick ... they choose "covid exposure" obviously.

Expand full comment

What excuse did Gavin Newsom dream up ?

Expand full comment

Spending Halloween with his kids. Because trick or treating is such a deeply sacred tradition to be shared with loved ones.

Expand full comment

Canada, please be kind and take care of these truckers. They are standing up and fighting for our freedom!

Expand full comment

Trust us...WE'RE ON IT!

Expand full comment

Great, way to go.

Expand full comment

Everyone is on the route cheering them on. There's a plan to rally across Canada Jan 29th in support of Freedom. This is the wave I was hoping for.

Expand full comment

This morning, Thursday, Jan 27, a bunch of us Canucks braved the frigid windchilll elements and went to a smalltown Hwy 401 Ontario overpass to wave to truckers. We have been informed we are a "fringe" group holding "unacceptable opinions," and unvaxxed truckers are a mere 10-15% of truckers in Canada. We waited a long while before the convoy came, stomping our feet in the snow, wrapping our scarves around our heads, covering our noses and mouths (the first time many have been "masked"), waving our flags, and wishing we had brought flasks with us. Hwy 401 is a very busy route and I would estimate that over 80% of regular traffic honked or waved in support at our merry band of frozen Canucks. Fringe? 10-15%? I think not, and PM Socks was smart to vacat ... er ... quarantine whilst Ottawa is knee deep in transports.

Kicker of the day? Some farm tractors and other supporters went down an embankment near our overpass so they could actually line the 401 waving flags and signs . An OPP car came by and told them they were too close to the highway (they were 25 yards away). Further they were told they needed to mask. I wish I had been close enough to hear the snorts and guffaws. It was -10C with a windchill factor taking it surely to -400C. No germ could last a millisecond.

Expand full comment

I’m in Canada! Tell me more about that Jan 29th plan!

Expand full comment

Everyone throws away their masks on Jan 29. Disobey all restrictions, open businesses. Re-instate the Old Normal.

Courage is contagious.

Expand full comment

Yes it only takes one or a few to stand up & others will follow, hopefully.

Expand full comment

I was out on an overpass with my big Canadian flag today. F* Trudeau! Go truckers!

Expand full comment

Pet peeve: “stay safe”. That would be appropriate to say if, for example, you were going to downtown Chicago. Safe and health are different things. These covid-panic-inducing phrases must stop.

Expand full comment

Thank you!! I have hated that line from day 1!

Expand full comment

My response (I saw it on a t-shirt): "You stay safe. I'll stay free."

Expand full comment

Every time I'm told to "Stay safe," I reply, "Oh, that's no fun at all."

Expand full comment

Love it

Expand full comment

"appropriate to say if, for example, you were going to downtown Chicago". Or, if you were ultimately going to have to face a boatload of truckers, not to mention a million or more other Canadians, who have had enough of your tyrannical bullshit.

Expand full comment

Why would people listen to him and "get vaccinated" when it literally does nothing to prevent you getting COVID - and it looks like it somehow even triggers Omicron? he's such a weird commie.

Expand full comment

I think the term 'Get Vaccinated' is now on par with 'Seig Heil'.

Expand full comment

I think you're right! I was trying to think of a good parallel - "stay safe!" is "seig hell" too

Expand full comment

Just click heels together, lower your chin, and stretch out your right arm

Expand full comment

The word “vaccine” just makes me cringe and it’s painful to hear children talk about it. It should be the LAST thing children are worried about. So sad.

Expand full comment

It can replace "Achtung" in the fascist salute. Arm out straight but slightly raised with open hand while saying "Vaccine".

Expand full comment

Wear a mask that doesn't work; get a jab that doesn't work.

Obey.

Expand full comment

Blah blah symptoms, blah blah hospitals, overcrowding, selfish, etc.

Expand full comment

The difference between a cat hiding from the vacuum and Trudeau hiding from sane people is that I eventually am happy to see the cat come out of hiding.

Expand full comment

My daughter had a cat (inherited with a house she bought) who liked being vacuumed. My daughter never realized it until I discovered it house sitting once. Off topic, but shows even a kitty is more courageous than Turdeau, and anything about cats is fair game, right?

Expand full comment

I had one of those too. That's how I discovered she was deaf. She otherwise hid it quite well.

Expand full comment

I wonder if Sugar was deaf. She was a very old cat that the previous owners had abandoned (intentionally) when they moved.

Expand full comment

I am absolutely flabbergasted at how many people just abandon their pets. 😡 I just adopted a young female cat that someone did this to as well.

Expand full comment

Meow !!! 😎

Expand full comment

Why go to all that trouble when he can just slip into a disguise and sneak out the back door? Perhaps Bollywood Blackface this time?

Expand full comment

Quarantining? After an exposure? With no symptoms?

It’s almost like he doesn’t trust his vaccine to protect him from being infected and transmitting it to others.

Expand full comment

Safe & effective. Sure the booster is helping too. Guy’s a worm. Let’s bury him.

Expand full comment

Nah, put him on a hook and use him for bait--at least he would be of some use.

I don't know if you're the first with this, but that's good.

Even more absurd is the fact he is isolating. Isn't he bullet proof, since he's vaxxed? Then he tells everyone else else to make sure they're vaxxed. Do these people have even an inkling of how stupid they sound? Apparently not.

Expand full comment

Trudeau mandating something so effective that if one is exposed to the virus one must isolate because .....?? What Trudeau is doing here is confirming what the trucker already know - the vax is not effective.

Expand full comment

If you start from the premise that he’s a buffoon, and remember that his “go to” costume is blackface, it all falls into place.

Expand full comment

Is there anyone actually fooled by this tactic?

Expand full comment

It sorta worked for Gavin Newsom....so....

Interesting thing is he's not abiding by the government's guidance for the vaccinated but exposed which state : "If you are fully vaccinated, have no symptoms, do not live with the positive case and are otherwise healthy

self-monitor for symptoms for 10 days after your last exposure

wear a mask, practise physical distancing, and follow all other public health measures if leaving home

do not visit any high-risk settings or people who may be at higher risk of illness (such as seniors) for 10 days after your last exposure

If you are not fully vaccinated or are immunocompromised

isolate for 10 days (or for five days if you are under 12) after your last exposure, regardless of whether you have any symptoms"

If anyone believes that Canadian truckers are vaxxed at a higher rate than the general public as Trudy and his ghouls are trying to tell us, then you need to wake up. The other aspect of this border mandate that we need to think about is how many US truckers, that bring us most of our food, are not vaxxed. Since USA has a much lower vax rate than Canada, and most likely less than 60% this will have a huge and noticeable impact on our shelves real darn quick. I'm prepared to eat snow and rice for weeks to support this protest.

Expand full comment

I think this is another attempt to starve or punish the unvaxxed - by creating shortages. And then mandating where we can get our food. It’s all on purpose.

Expand full comment

Great way to scapegoat the unvaxxed. There seems to be a need for scapegoats.

Expand full comment

Turdeau is going to regret his nasty and clueless speech yesterday - "fringe and unacceptable" is now the "deplorables" of Canada and we love being so. How is having 500,000+ demonstrators in Ottawa for 5 days going to make anything easier on the Liberals? With ALL THE WORLD watching? With Maxim Bernier making speeches the entire time?

Even without the massive trucks, that many people will shut down Ottawa. The population of the region is about 1.3 million. If even a fraction of those people join the demonstrations, the entire downtown Ottawa will be full of demonstrators. https://canadapopulation.org/ottawa-population/

I checked the traffic cameras in my area to decide where to go to support the truckers. There were lots of people on the overpass at the QEW/Winston Churchill (west of Toronto) at 11:30 this morning so I went there to do my waving and yelling. I'm home now and just checked the traffic camera again -- they've tilted it so you can't see the overpass and people on it any more. Insane. We were not impeding traffic in any way.

Fantastic. About time. United from coast to coast. Oh Canada 🇨🇦

Well, I would not say "all the world". To my amazement, it looks like the old, classic media is still in charge of public opinion. And they have shown during the pandemic that they´re perfectly capable of miracles, especially those involving the dissapearence of entire countries or huge events that contradict the official narrative.

As I explained a pair of months ago, here in Spain they made Sweden COMPLETELY dissapear when they knew they were not wearing masks and doing great (2021 was on pace to be their 2ND year with less mortality since records began...), and now that Denmark and UK follow their way, well, no more UK or Denmark. You can be sure that 99,99% of the European media won´t report on the truck parade. Same with Australia´s totalitarian drift.

I agree with your comments regarding the media. However this convoy is a bit too big to hide. Our mainstream media actually showed the convoy and so many supporters as it arrives just north of Toronto.

First of all, thank you all of our American friends for your kind words of support, it really means a lot to us. The politicians can try to divide us as much as they want, they will not succeed. The sock puppet has always behaved this way. He only talks to high school girls and sycophants. He has been trying to drive a wedge between classically liberal people like myself and those who are infatuated with his "global agenda" since he was elected. His father was a communist, and the rotten "little potato" doesn't fall from the tree. He also loathes democracy too, and it shows.

I have great news and am so stoked! My husband has finally beaten covid, after a more than 3 week ordeal. We were watching Rocky II tonight, when I got the pcr test results! He's like Rocky, a 3 week slug fest with that slimy spike faced virus, but he toughed it out and won!!!

I should add that my husband has advanced Huntington's disease, which has left him non verbal, and he has difficulty swallowing. In addition he as a thalassemia trait which leaves him anemic. It was tough trying to figure out what was causing this or that symptom, and to not panic. We hit it hard from first symptoms on Jan 1 with Ivermectin (thank God almighty that I had laid in a nice supply), Vitamins C, D, Zinc, Selenium, Quercetin, budesonide in an nebulizer, and hydrogen peroxide in a nebulizer.

After a couple weeks, and him still not getting better a call to Americas Front Line doctors got him a few more days of Ivermectin, and also Azythromycin and fluvoxamine. My daughter, a midwife, drew his blood so I could keep tabs on what was going on. I think he may still be fighting a lingering bacterial infection. I may contact a doctor to see if we can get more antibiotics.

My advice to everyone is to lay in a supply of the whole arsenal to fight covid. It takes more than a month to get it from overseas. I used alldaychemist . com. The pharmacy that AFLD uses takes several days to get back to you and you only get a 5 day supply. You want to be prepared to hit covid as soon as possible.

Any way, I am so happy now that our nearly month long ordeal is over. Someone cue in the Rocky music!!!

You have no idea the frustration Canadians have on this. I have no doubt the election was full of voter fraud like in the US. There is noone more frustrated then western Canadians that are used and abused by our government and we have an unfair proportion of votes. We have to watch Ontario and Quebec make all the decisions and man are they doing it poorly. The ones that vote for him do it because they know he will give them preferential treatment over the rest of us Canadians. They are basically bought by his bribes. Separation is a real possibility for the west. Do we start our own country or join the US?

I heard there was an issue in the Canadian elections re: voting machines. Is this true?

Expand full comment

Lived in Alberta & BC for ~20 years. Dual citizen. Voting with paper ballots, quaint to an American -- almost like voting for Grade 8 class president. Mark an 'X' with a pencil for the candidate you want. Of course a federal election in Canada, you only vote for one thing -- your local MP (Member of Parliament). There are no votes for governor, dogcatcher, 101 propositions... last time I lived in California the election 'pamphlet' was something like 300 pages long. Anyway the votes were counted by hand, poll-watchers from both major parties along with any others who wanted to join in. Was it perfect? Probably not, but a far cry from what happened in USA in 2020 -- search for 'Antrim County' -- a small place, rural, red -- no way Biden won by 6000 votes or whatever. They recounted by hand, because they could; and Trump won. After that MI sec of state shut down all recounts.

Expand full comment

Thank you for the information about the Canadian elections. Yeah I remember hearing some rumor about issues with voting machines in Canada like what happened in the US. I didn't follow up on that because there was more than enough drama here in the US so I just stored that in the memory bank until just now. I much prefer paper ballots.

Expand full comment

Dominion Voting Systems manages the leadership elections for the CPC. On election night, an "enveloep opening machine" bizarrely shredded thousands of ballots , delaying the tally for hours, and those ballots had to be "recreated" manually? The unceremonious coronation of the liberal-lite globalist O'Toole.

Remember when Andrew Scheer, star member of the World Economic Forum's Forum of Young Global Leaders, staged a miraculous final round comeback to beat Maxime Bernier by less than 1%, then all the ballots were promptly shredded?

Expand full comment

Well, if the Tories are dumb enough to hire Dominion to add up paper ballots in a leadership election, that could probably be done by hand just as quickly, they get what they deserve. Only problem is that regular Canadians are the ones who get hooped in the end.

There are a few factors that should be considered before coming to that conclusion. First of all we have a 'first past the post system', a system that this same Fucker promised to do away with! Of course, since his party stood to benefit from it AFTER the election he claimed this was not possible. Essentially though this system ensures you can get a minority or majority government WITHOUT getting the majority of the votes. His party did not get the 'popular' vote, and the government would look very different today if we had a proportional representation system (what we were promised). To be clear I NEVER voted for this pathetic piece of human excrement - but that brings us to the bigger issue - that we have too many people in Canada who are poorly informed on political issues (if at all) yet gladly vote for the party that throws the most $$ at them.

The last thing Canada needs is a Proportional Representation system. Liberals + NDP + Quebec nationalists + Greens would be an overwhelming majority for the 'Covid Party'. What Canada needs is for its citizenry to wake the F up and stop being such Covidian bedwetters.

Note that Brian Peckford, one of the original creators of the Canadian Charter of RIghts has launched a lawsuit (at last) against the govt. Watch his podcast with Jordan Peterson from yesterday to see how far Canada has fallen from the function of its institutions, and how it should operate properly. Yes, we Canadians are to blame for our complacency, but it can be restored. Peckford is focusing on the vaccine requirement for travel, as lawsuits need to be aimed at one aspect of harm, but if it falls all the mandates will fall. You can support the lawsuit at https://www.jccf.ca/ - the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedom.

My God, Peckford is still around? I didn't realise how young he was back then. Well done him.

Me either. And he's as sharp as a tack. Well worth watching the Jordan Peterson podcast on youtube. There are still some of us that remember the real Canada and its values.

Polling from just a few days ago showed PPC at 13%, NDP at 17%, Libs & Cons at 29% each. The most interesting part was the gain to the PPC at the cost of Libs and Cons. I know many people who used to vote left - they will not be going forward.

I'm 72. I'm sorta retired. I looked forward for so many years to the day I would be retired. I finally get there and then all this crap hit's the fan. My first reaction was to say, Why me...why now? The answer I have selected is that I'm old school. I know what Freedom means. And even as old as I am I will do whatever I can to fight these Commie Bastards.

Expand full comment

I don't think there is a 'good age' to be going through this, but understand that having worked your whole life to deal with this when you should be enjoying the fruits of your labor must be infuriating. I'm in the middle and seeing the effect on those retired (my parents for instance want to travel and have not been able to do so) but I also see the effects on the children. These should be years of innocence, play, discovery and learning for them and instead it has become abuse at the hands of sick parents, and being subject to medical experimentation that will rob them of their health and in some cases life.

It is the bulk of the middle age people like myself that have ultimately failed. We are the ones of an age to be in a mental and physical position to fight this tyrannical madness, to protect our children from the harms - yet most do not even see it.

History will view our generations (Gen X, Y, and Millennials) actions (or non-action) here as eerily similar to the Germans in the 1930's.

Can I call you Persy? I knew a gal named Angelina. She insisted that I call her that instead of Angie. And this was 3o years ago so it was not a Pronoun madness thing. Anyway I have a feeling that you are not as anal as Angie. When will your newsletter be up? I look forward to that. And yes...whichever group is the most responsible for shirking their moral duties and fighting this 2030 Agenda chapter in history should feel some large sized guilt. Being in the old fart category demographic I'm supposed to show wisdom and compassion and temperance and all those many wonderful character traits and allow for people's shortcomings. And I do try. But try as I may down deep I want to kick ass and take names. I don't know. The blame assignment can be spread over a few generations in my opinion. When there is an industrial accident the lawyers have a field day assigning blame to as many potential defendants as they possibly can. That way they can pick many pockets. And in some instances it is true that there may have been several people who's special knowledge of the situation could have prevented the accident had they spoke up. (Or spoken up?) It's not always a clear cut path to find out who is to blame, or who is to blame the most. Heck, I can even accept a tiny bit of responsibility...I raised a son who is Bi-Political. He's part Liberal and part Logical. It's the liberal part I apologize for. The blame game is not productive however. But it does have some therapeutic value, I have to admit.

I am ashamed to say I voted for this piece of shit the first time around, back when I was poorly informed and identified as progressive liberal. He appeared fresh and pretty and his daddy was a historical celebrity; I was bamboozled, like so many others. The grift of the century. Fool me once, shame on you...

Give yourself credit for wising up! The 'progressive liberal' of today is very different to what it used to be. I think that has caught many off guard. People think they are voting for what this used to be - when they are voting for something entirely different (the progressive liberals have gone so far left they are off a cliff now)

Yes. And there were still many blue collar, middle America union members (and retired ones) who reflexively (and at the direction of their union) voted Democrat up to and including the last election. It's maddening; although I'm also fully aware of the Uni-Party situation. They're outnumbered for the most part, out here in flyover country (I'm in MO), but they're still significant, I think.

I'm sure that will change this next election. Hopefully overwhelmingly. We'll see what my BIL and neighbor do.

Hello Persephonia. First off I Googled Persephonia because it has an interesting ring to it. Google changed the spelling and sent me this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYJuULpby74 So even though that group is not you I thank you for your name because I like that tune..! I will subscribe to your newsletter not because of the tune but because of your very succinct (word of the day) reply to my request for help to correct my Canadian Attitude, which by now I do feel badly about.

Trudeau didn't even win the popular vote. By no means did a majority of Canadians vote for this coward.

Expand full comment

At least 25% of Canadians are even further left on the Big State scale than Trudeau's party. I love the convoy, but Canadians as a whole have some splainin' to do.

I thank the Writers of our Constitution that they invented the Electoral college. I have no idea how the voting system works in Canada but it sounds like it sucks.

Expand full comment

It's a first-past-the-post parliamentary system. Pretty straightforward when there are only two major parties, or three as there has been for most of the past 100 years in Canada, but when a country gets as balkanised as Canada, FPTP leads to some very strange results.

Expand full comment

It does. Majority would like it changed. They make promises to do so but either renege on them or put it to a vote that is 'worded' to ensure the outcome they want (no change).

The votes got split to too many parties. He still in a minority government after the election and some provinces get more representatives than other. Plus there's Quebec thay votes for the Quebecois it's a mess and a joke really. He had the election during the pandemic, fear reigns and the fear loving majority baby boomers all follow main stream media and hold the majority of the vote. Some provinces did not vote for him at all and I did not vote for him. More people are waking up to the reality, esp because of Omicron.

I'm becoming very knowledgeable about how Canadian elections are held...or should I say how they are rigged?

Expand full comment

IIRC it was Boss Tweed (Tammany Hall, NYC) who once famously said, "I don't care who gets to vote. I only care about who gets to count the votes."

Fraud has been with us forever, and the difference is that different 'skills' are required to fraud a paper-ballot election, than a voting-machine election.

And the bottom line is, if these guys have enough power and can do enough favors, then the incentive to 'win at all costs' perverts the 'democratic' process.

Moral to the story: the only way to eliminate voter fraud is to eliminate the motivation for it. Go back to the 'enumerated powers' in the US Constitution, and there will be little reason for fraud. But as long as the boys and girls in DC (and Ottawa) get to play Santa Claus, there will be people who spend a good part of their lives figuring out how to subvert the will of the people.

Joseph Stalin said it does not matter who casts the vote but who counts the vote.

Expand full comment

OK, I checked. See https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/stalin-vote-count-quote/

It appears that Stalin may have said something like this ca. 1920.

Cartoonist Thomas Nast attributed similar words to Boss Tweed in 1871. See the original in Harper's Weekly from the Library of Congress: https://www.loc.gov/resource/ds.12564/

As with many such things, the original antecedent of the comment is unknown; further, the evidence that either Tweed and/or Stalin actually said something like it is mixed. Fun stuff; thanks for your comment!

Maybe they "voted" for that lying sociopath (I know, redundant) in the same way that Americans "voted" for Biden?

I've lived and voted in the US and UK and have long thought that US elections are completely fraudulent whereas UK elections were at least half decent, with paper ballots counted by hand under the eyes of representatives from each party. But I don't know whether UK elections are still half decent (Brexit made the UK Deep State more desperate to cheat).

And as for Canada, I don't know. Maybe Canadian elections are now as bad as American ones?

Expand full comment

I think our system makes it somewhat more difficult. As far as I know all of our ballots are still counted by hand (but then it has been many years since I worked at a polling station). We do not use the 'voting machines' that theoretically could be manipulated, and I did not hear of any stories of party representatives being blocked from watching the counts. I think our biggest problem is that there are just too many Canadians willing to believe the lies they are fed.

Sanjoy....lying sociopath (I know, redundant) Love that.

um and we say the same about Biden ( But yes, we hate Trudeau)

Expand full comment

Saying the same about Biden is fair play. The deference being that the more the elections are looked into the more evident it becomes that Trump got ripped off. In Wisconsin the legislature just voted to take back 10 Biden electoral votes. That's a big deal. Trump did amazing things but I won't vote for him again if he gets the nomination. Despite his success last time he has too much baggage. There are several other great people out there besides Trump. I do hope his social network costs Zuckerberg a boat load of money however.

So many Canadians unfortunately have given up - only 60% approx showed up to vote. Meaning Turdeau and his Liberal party got 18% of the eligible voters of Canada, and squeaked back into power. However, our opposition parties are kinda like the uniparty in the US - except more lackey and useless.

Exciting off-topic news!

Last weekend I got covid, immediately followed by my brother and then my husband.

We chugged ivermectin and anti-inflammatories and I was 100% in 3 days.

And now I have robust long-term immunity and can donate convalescent plasma. 😁

Husband is stuck staying out of vocational school until negative test +5 days.

We all agreed it was weaker than any flu we'd ever had (and it's been years).

It's weird how excited I was to finally square off against covid. It was precisely what I expected.

Don't be afraid. Practice common sense convalescence, get and take ivermectin as scaled for your weight, get plenty of sleep.

Don't be afraid.
