Beautiful and encouraging! You know, I've let my guard down in the past in my life. I'm a bit ashamed of that now. I'm at the tail end of the "Boomer" generation and i commit to all of you young people that I plan to fight until my dying breath. I am NEVER going to let my guard down again. I am NEVER going to blindly trust ANY government, mega-corporation, politician, media (and the list goes on) again. Period. Not only have they pissed off mama bears, "they" are also awakening some of the "Boomers" who were lulled to sleep over the last 40 years or so. We've had it. Keep pushing back everyone and don't comply with any of this tyranny. The future of young people worldwide is at stake. Regardless of the outcome at the "end of this, we absolutely cannot afford to go back to sleep this time.

Well said!! I'm the last of the baby boomers (born in 1964) but have a 17 & 19 year old. So, I am doubly pissed, and very willing and able to take on the streets and Big Pharma. My kids have a momma bear and a rebel, and like I told my son: "If I'm going down, it will be FIGHTING! I will NEVER give up protecting you (and all young people)."

I was in high school in the 1960's, so the idea of not trusting government etc. was part of my psyche from that point on. I've always maintained a degree of skepticism with regard to politicians. I worked in two different Middle Eastern countries for a 10 year period in the 1970s and 1980s, and being in restrictive, authoritarian dictatorships for lengthy periods gave me a new perspective on the U.S. and how unique it is. I still didn't really trust our government, but I was blind to what was really going on behind the scenes. So I can't say I ever blindly trusted our government, but what I did was not pay enough attention to things that were going on. I'll also say I never imagined it could come to this. In the 1960s I watched the radicals try to get power, but they were seemingly suppressed and they appeared to go away. Except that they didn't go away. They knew they would not (at that time) be able to get elected, so they took a different tack to gain influence by infiltrating the universities and schools over time, and eventually filling the unelected government bureaucracy in areas where they would have influence on policy. Not enough of us paid attention to this, we were fat, happy and successful for the most part, and that's when you let your guard down and get lazy. The radicals took advantage of this.

well stated - NEVER do any of that again! - but, I don't think Covid-compliance is an age thing - hard to say what it was; you had that curious result of PhDs and no-college demographics being most impervious to con (but Masters term degrees (huge number of teachers) being most accepting of it) - . In the US, it was more a north/south thing - but I know plenty of Trump supporters who are big Vax supporters.

Most skeptical? - I bet it was the narrow demographic who watch NO TV or no MSM news TV.

Don't forget the thousands of families of vax-injured kids. Most people never believed them, never considered that scenario at all. Yet, here we are. They had been raising flags and sounding the alarm to no avail. Silenced by the CDC/vax court since 1986 and the likes of Drs. Offit and Hotez. If you want a serious chronology of corruption re: vaccines, please get a copy of How to End the Autism Epidemic by J.B. Handley. Truly enlightening.

I never trusted most politicians, but I certainly have had the scales fall from my eyes about the RINO's. Fauci we all knew about from AIDS. Same game plan. Withhold Medicine that works in favor of a vaccine for AIDS/Covid (Bactrim/Ivermectin/HCQ) give them AZT/Remdesivir. This will be sufficient to correct the trend of manipulating data, skipping necessary animal trials, etc. May ALL LIABILITY fall on them.

At a minimum, we must dismantle the NIH, FDA, CDC, and the behemoth of corruption disguised as science. After my firstborn suffered an AE (2002), I lost all trust in the CDC/FDA. I also stopped vaccinating them except for polio which I finished the series. Homeopathy was always my first line of defense at the first sign of fever. Very seldom did they require antibiotics. I believe in real medicine as in surgeries to save lives. They should stick to that. But my health and that of my family is in MY control via whole foods, healthy eating habits (including top quality vitamins/supplements), physical activity and a healthy weight. People need to stop worshipping doctors.

I am proud to say I will not wear a mask anywhere in the UK where I reside (sadly). It is a small step but one that simply says I will not participate in the nonsense. Requested my money back from the local theatre when they decided I needed a lateral flow test to be admitted to the theatre. I wrote back to explain their decision was discriminatory and I chose not to participate and please refund my money. I now am looking for a new dentist after the one I normally see, announced I would have to have a covid test before my next visit as I was unjabbed. A discrimatory practice on his behalf. I let him know I could not possibly pay anyone for anything who practices blatant discrimination. I have reported him to his professional organisation as well. The next stage will be deep regret for those who have taken the jab(s), as people realize what this mRNA poison has done to their immune and cardiovascular systems. When they get sick with a flu or other virus and can't fight it off, or end up in the hospital (which is now understaffed due to mandates) with a heart condition that they never had before, they will be furious and despondent.

I’m going to “out” myself here.

I got the two doses of the Pfizer v$x back in March of this year. My reason was NOT that I wanted to “protect others”, but that I thought it would be required to fly internationally, and we had a vacation to Costa Rica planned. Which sadly, didn’t happen.

Shortly after the 2nd jab, things started to not make any sense. The process of the narrative crumbling was slow at first, then the scales pretty much rapidly fell from my eyes. I’m in Texas, thank God, and I saw “masks required” in some stores and restaurants and “masks required for the unvaccinated” in others. It made less and less sense, and now I don’t wear a mask and I have zero intention of getting a “booster”. Ever.

I take NAC, hydroxychloroquine, Vit. D and C, and Quercetin/Bromelain every day. I believe my immune system works. And I am so grateful for el gato malo and others on substack who aren’t afraid to tell the truth and encourage others to stand up and speak out!

Expand full comment

Yep, my wife and I take Quercetin, lypospheric Vitamin C, zinc and Vitamin D everyday. We refused to take an experimental injection pushed by the same people were (at least partially) involved in bringing this plague upon us. We have Ivermectin, Z-packs and plenty of Zinc here is we get the virus. We trust these therapeutics, as we've seen the results from people we know who've used them. We would NEVER go to the hospital for COVID and be treated with their protocols. That is a death sentence for most.

Expand full comment

The deaths will most likely be blamed on covid, which the jabbed (despite supposedly being protected) must somehow have caught from the unjabbed. Remember, part of what's happened in the past two years is that people have been trained to accept more and more implausible stories, to obey more and more irrational orders, and to abandon logic altogether.

Expand full comment

Remember when those journalists going easy on big pharma were trying to push the narrative that Dr. Mercola was recommending vitamin D to get rich? It will be a sad (but perfect) irony if Dr. Mercola and those like him wo recommend alternatives end up profiting because the furious, despondent vaccine-injured turn to the only doctors who really are promoting good health, rather than just disease mitigation.

Expand full comment

Years ago big pharma went after the vitamin industry and people like Dr. Mercola. Vitamin bottles could have info on the labels about a particular vitamin being helpful for this or that condition, but BP managed to get laws passed to prevent that. They've always been against vitamins and the health food industry since they cannot profit from them, and furthermore, they knew that if you took the right vitamin regime you just might not need some of their expensive drugs.

Great post. As far as I personally am concerned, Covid is over -- FOR ME. I am unvaccinated and already had Covid. I do not wear a mask unless absolutely required.

As a society, though, we have to go through a lot still, even if we stop this vaccinating insanity. Specifically, the vaxxed may deal with inability to acquire immunity to covid and likely with immune system problems in general.

The Omicron story is much bigger than some believe. My own conclusion, which I know many authors disagree with, is that Omicron is not mild at all and will create a todal wave of illness.

Omicron is targeting the vaccinated specifically and, for the first time in this pandemic, I am personally calling Omicron causing ADE in the vaxxed (because it prefers the vaccinated). I did not see evidence of ADE anywhere prior.

I wrote several posts about it and my latest one is here:

They refuse to go public due to the knowledge that there will be retribution from the University. And there would be- mainly through the loss of their lab and funding. That's how they keep everyone quiet.

It's not sexist. Men and women are less different than we think, but more different than we believe.

My husband likes the fact that his wife is (often) the toughest person in the room. I like the fact that that can be true and he can still be a real man. There are a lot fewer rules than people imagine about how to be an excellent specimen of your gender. It's the parts where we collectively started ignoring objective reality that things have gone horribly off the rails.

For the record, though, (I actually studied this a little many years ago), when asked outside of social contexts (i.e., when other women are watching or perceived to be), women are traditionally more in favor of harsh punishment and strict codes of criminal justice, especially women with children.

I remember a philosophy class I took as an elective in grad school where the women were the only ones with their hands up in discussions of capital punishment and enhanced interrogation.

Check out this campus wide notification from the asylum that is Cornell University- this was sent out two days ago- they are currently having record "case" numbers even as the campus is 97% vaccinated with students being at 99% rate.

A few questions come to mind as I read this from the Mad Hatter himself Michael Koltikoff.

So the vaccines don't work unless you are wearing a mask?

So the vaccines do work in academic settings but don't work in social settings? Do you have studies that confirm this?

How have you determined that there is no transmission in class room settings? Where's that study?

While eating and drinking does the virus take a time out from being transmissible?

If there is such "spread" causing record number of "cases" isn't this a clear indication that the vaccines at best don't work and therefore promoting "boosters" for an ineffective vaccine is doubling down on a failed strategy?

As an internationally recognized research institution are you using this opportunity to test vaccinated students to monitor adverse reactions?

Do you have one single scientific report to back up any of these comments?

I'm sure we could come up with a dozen more questions that illustrate the insanity of this. Let me know if you have any to add.

Dear Colleagues,

I am writing to share with faculty and staff the following message that was sent this afternoon to all students on the Ithaca and Geneva campuses.

Sincerely,

Mike Kotlikoff

Provost

Dear students on the Ithaca campus:

The number of new COVID-19 cases among the Cornell student body continues to climb at concerning rates. Testing from Friday and Saturday, which is still in the process of being finalized, has already identified nearly 300 additional student cases on the Ithaca campus. In addition, we have now confirmed cases of the Omicron variant within our Cornell community.

The vast majority of cases are linked to off-campus student social gatherings where masking and other public health measures were not followed. Being vaccinated, even with a booster shot, is not a license to let down our guards. Students testing positive for COVID-19 now, and in coming days, risk being required to isolate, away from family and friends, during the upcoming winter break.

We are sharing three critical updates related to the end of semester:

All in-person student gatherings, formal or informal, are cancelled. This applies to undergraduate, graduate and professional students, and includes events with members of the local community.

In-person exams will continue as planned, as there has been no evidence of classroom virus transmission. All exams are already de-densified (50% capacity). Students in isolation due to COVID-19 should contact instructors about academic accommodations, especially regarding exams. Additional information, including an FAQ, is available on Cornell’s COVID-19 website.

The December Recognition ceremony in Ithaca will continue as planned. Additional information will be shared by the Commencement Office soon.

If you are leaving campus for the break, please depart as soon as you complete your last in-person final. Don’t risk getting COVID-19, which could require you to isolate until cleared by the Tompkins County Health Department for travel. If you are currently COVID-19 positive, you will need to discuss departure plans with the Cornell COVID Concierge Team (607-254-5600 or quarantinehelp@cornell.edu).

Please, let’s work together to stop COVID-19 transmission now:

Masks must be worn indoors at all times, unless in a private, non-shared space (e.g., dorm room or office); we strongly recommend masking outdoors when physical distancing is not possible.

Use grab and go food options if available. Otherwise, try to spread out from others and do not linger. Put your mask back on as soon as you are done eating or drinking.

When studying with others, keep group sizes small, wear masks and maintain your distance.

Adhere to your surveillance testing schedule and take advantage of supplemental testing.

Again, we cannot stress strongly enough the importance of wearing masks indoors, avoiding social gatherings, and getting a booster as soon as you are able to do so. You have done an amazing job this semester. Let’s do our part to help finish the semester as safely as possible.

Sincerely,

Mike Kotlikoff

Irrationality on top of insanity. We had one from our health and safety rep which was gobsmacking in its tyrannical language. Berating people for daring to sit around with flu symptoms. Telling people to interrogate them to determine the causes, then report them. Threatening dire consequences for lying on the "health app". Every person has to "prove" that they're well to gain entry by ticking a list every day. Which includes arbitrary things like red eyes and runny noses and sore joints. If I were to answer it honestly every time, I would never be permitted entry. Everyone just selects "no" so they can get the damned green tick to show the guards at the entrances. Lugen macht Frei.
