The US Constitution is our bulwark against this and specifically prohibit this. Lazy people say, "Our rights are already gone; nothing to do now."

No, the problem is people are not putting the Constitution to use. Those of us who never locked down, never masked, never vaxed have lost nothing yet, because we asserted our rights. Fortune really does favor the brave; we are not suffocated, poisoned or locked down/bankrupted. Keep insisting on the Constitution as the bulwark against tyranny that it is. Constitutional attorneys say you have no obligation to comply with unconstitutional mandates or laws. The whole of the Constitution is more powerful than only your 2A guns. You still have all the A's. Use them when needed.

the constitution is merely a document (and an imperfect one.)

you will keep the rights you are willing to fight for, no more, but no less.

therein lies actual agency. no charter or compact can protect those who will not protect themselves.

it's a blueprint. we have to build and sustain the society.

Expand full comment

And too few are willing to fight. The problem is, there is no political opposition around which the awake and dissenting can rally and ‘fight’ back, because all the ruling elites, opponents in name only, are all of one mind in the same club with the same aims. The only way the few can have any chance of salvaging the situation, is armed insurrection, or the threat if it… history shows this repeatedly.

Oh, but haven't you heard? The "red wave" in November is going to save us and we will go back to normal! (Rolls eyes) You know, I don't get too riled up when 20 somethings fall for that kind of thing, but anyone who is in their 30's and older that is still counting on filthy politicians and an "election" to "save them" make me sick to my stomach. I love the saying, "If voting actually worked, it would be illegal." That doesn't mean that I don't think that local elections are not important, but this every 2 and 4 year thing where we get the privilege of "choosing" between 2 "selected" "lesser of 2 evils" is absolutely useless. Anyone who has written their national Reps over their lifetime would know this. It doesn't matter which party is in office, you will get the exact same canned reply from them. They could care less about our liberty. They care about one thing: Winning their next election and staying in power. That's it. (Except for a very small handful of them and even they put fundraising first in most cases). Sorry for the long add to your comment. Haha. I agree with you 100%

The US is not a democracy. It is a constitutional republic. I think we have forgotten that. The founders had no use for democracy (mob rule). Words matter even if the Constitution is only a document and won’t be our saving grace.

very much this.

those who claim we must "protect democracy" are either selling tyranny of the majority as freedom or have become the unwitting dupes of those who are.

As well, democracy being legitimised as ‘will of the majority’ is the illegitimate tyranny of the majority.

Few know that republic is the antithesis of democracy which is why we end up with oxymoronic ‘democratic republics’. Demockracy also comes in a variety of flavours: social; liberal; parliamentary; representative; Christian (?!) - well they can’t all be the same or why the adjective and none are the original, regular vanilla flavour.

Of course they are just camouflage for tyranny which democracy is supposed to prevent. But ‘We The People’ love delusion apparently, particularly self-delusion. It’s like two goldfish in a bowl, one remarking to the other, ‘Look at all those poor Humans trapped behind the glass wall, unlike us free to swim around’.

The whole mindset of "looking to rich/powerful folk" to "save" us is part of the problem. What it is, essentially, is saying "I want you to fight my battles for me. You rich/powerful person seem like someone who has my best interests in mind, so I am going to DELEGATE my responsibility to act to you." That rich/powerful person is likely self-interested, and will require something of you--nothing is free, look at Bill Gates and his philanthrocapitalism...the donation of his $ comes with the right to dictate the plan. Maybe you are happy to give whatever sacrifice is asked. Just like a lot of people right now, are happy to use non-privacy oriented platforms and electronics, because they think they have "nothing to hide, and so eff the 4th amendment's erosion, it's too inconvenient for me to switch." But what happens when this rich/powerful person asks something of you you don't want to give, or, starts diverging from your priorities. I agree with a lot of this. I do think 2A is probably the most important because of the last resort capacity it serves. You are correct the virus was the recon mission. They’re (Davos syndicate) going to try again but here’s why it is doomed to fail: they can control on ramps and off ramps. They can’t actually control real P2P exchange. They can bitch about and regulate crypto all they want, it means diddly for stopping value exchange for those of us who choose to be ungovernable. This idea that a crypto on-ramp requires an off-ramp is a fallacy. Crypto just becomes the exchange mechanism. And yes this is absolutely going to create black markets and a parallel economy and its going to be brutal. But to truly shutdown crypto, they’d have to forcibly destroy every single mining rig on the planet. That’s easy for some cryptos, but not for all of them. Its incredibly difficult to pull that off. To really destroy crypto they’d have to turn off the internet. But they can’t do that because their surveillance state relies on it too. They’re definitely going to do CBDCs. It’s up to us as individuals to have other options that can’t be confiscated. And that’s were 2A comes in. Coinbase has over 50 million registered users. Lets use that as a base estimate and discount unique users on FTX and Crypto.com (all 3 of which had presence in the Super Bowl last month). There is no putting that genie back in the bottle. If even 1% of those who are linked to crypto say “fuck off, come get me,” the gov will have issues actually enforcing at scale. Based off recent data there are roughly 2-3 million people incarcerated in the US on any given day. You’re gonna need a lot more jail space to lock up the crypto nerds, I’d think. Nothing is impossible. But I think getting crypto as a hedge and then deciding how to cross a theoretical bridge should it come is the right approach.

I am a digital privacy novice in the process of de-googling etc ... It is not as bad as I thought. Worth listening to Joe Rogan's interview with Robert Epstein (and sharing it with the complacent). The article above is a good start. I've done some of those things. The Brave brower is good, as well as Epic; the Epic browser has a built in VPN, but is wonky on some sites.

DuckDuckGo is a replacement I've been using for a while; it's fine about 97% if the time.

ProtonMail is a good solution as well, and it's free.

I question Apple being better than Google in terms of your privacy.

And.... most of all, CASH. Start using cash.

Canada’s feds are currently past first reading stage for UBI (due to our plans in the environment - it’s in the bill) and about to try and slide Internet censorship past first reading - they are also trying to change labour code so employers can’t be sued for future vaccine mandates … I hate these people

cultivate a society that understands how this sort of behavioral manipulation works and inculcate an intrinsic reflex to respond to nudges with shoves.

they are not ever "just one thing."

they are a part of a larger pattern ad a slide down a slippery slope.

we must cultivate the understanding of that pattern and the need to stop it as the first push so that we can fight from solid ground and not from the greased incline to serfdom.

any rights imposition, no matter how small, no matter for what high and allegedly noble reason must be resisted.

all of them.

we need to stop giving the inches that accumulate into miles and start taking them back.

rights are absolute or they are not rights at all.

that is the lesson here and the way forward.

I still don’t understand why people didn’t wonder how the Amish handled COVID without intervention. Yes people died. How have they handled the other variants? That would make for an interesting study.

Only as long as their lifestyle does not start to become a real alternative.

If people would start Amish-style communes, succesfully so, they would be labelled a problem.

That's one of the signs of the totalitarian mindset: no alternatives allowed. You may not say "No, thank you, not for me but thanks for asking".

Look at islam, or christianity up until after the French Revolution. Look at capitalism when people start farmer's collectives. Look at communism when people use voluntary barter to make up shortfalls.

The underlying pattern is one and the same: succesful voluntary alternatives not allowed. Abstaining not allowed.

How does on cultivate a society without control of things like the MSM and things like "Facebook" and "Twitter?"

If people can't agree on simple things like "masks don't do anything" and "the vaxx can hurt people," how in the world can we get them on our side as a group? How can we break through the people that have been captured by the psyop?

Almost everyone I know is mentally/ emotionally captured. They will do anything for their "safety" and "health." They can't be reasoned with, and when the digital ID and the CBDC comes, they will hail it because of the convenience, and claim that they'll be fine, because "they don't do anything wrong."

This is why they vacillated on masks, vaccine mandates, etc. They were delayed in what could be used against us and world coordination of messages. Test run. Evil phrases like your mask protects me and vaccine stops the virus have been used to turn us against each other. I felt this in my very being since the beginning. There were those who’ve written books about this thirty years ago. The New World Order is one. Skull & Bones club (Clinton, Bush, etc.). Diana West wrote Red Thread, the communists who flowed into and are embedded in our country. Illuminati. It is all true. But the book who had the lead on this story? The Bible. It’s all in there.

Or if the news about the vaccines gets too hot to trot, governments around the world can shove the vaccine makers under and the bus and claim that governments need to "cooperate" to prevent such atrocities from happening ever again. They will be able to shove through supra-national laws that make our lives miserable.

They covered this in I think Event 201. At some point, they will acknowledge "vaccines injuries" but claim that it was done for the "good of humanity." Big Pharma was trying to Save the World, and therefore, they cannot be held liable. We are in war against "The Virus" and those who died from the vaxxine are casualties of war that must be mourned as heroes.

Put simply, Covid-19 was not an epidemiological event, it was a psychological operation.

As bureaucrats and politicians wind down the Covid restrictions in order to quell growing unrest, we can be assured they will insist on retaining the "right" to re-impose them at will.

As long as “new variants lurk right around the corner”, public health bureaucrats and pandemic profiteers can invent the next “health emergency” to impose more shutdowns for any “viral event” that conveniently suits their political and financial aims.

While the Covid propaganda has vanished it is imperative we keep the mountain of lies under scrutiny and continue unveiling the massive corruption that defines the “Covid Era.” This is the only path towards justice and necessary to defend against future episodes of “pandemic” hysteria.

Ultimately there can be no comprehensive debate and complete understanding about the devastating consequences of the 'Covid Crisis' policies without a historical and up to date analysis of the Medical Industry’s role in pushing socioeconomic and political agendas which benefit the ruling elites.

It is vital to understand that the public health industry is now directly tied to global markets and operates based on the demands of those financial conglomerates. Manufactured pandemics are now mammoth investment opportunities which increase the wealth of billionaires and further consolidate their power.

It is also necessary to recognize that the primary purpose of the medical industry is no longer the “art of healing”, it is instead a financial instrument meant to benefit investors.

The magic act of Covid vanishing from media view and public perception is not due to any medical miracle or the natural trajectory of a virus losing its potency. It was performed by those who manufactured this reality and committed countless crimes and done in an attempt to slip out the back door, avoid further public inquiry and escape any legal consequences.

The urgent message that we must take from these past two years is that we are under sustained psychological warfare and have been for quite some time.

We won’t have truly won until it is universally established that Medical Freedom is not a negotiable commodity controlled by state bureaucrats, political opportunists or the medical cartel.

Nothing has been won until the ideology that the state can have control over bodily autonomy has been thoroughly repudiated.

This story is not finished until the individuals and institutions that deceived the public, censored and persecuted dissenting voices over the past two years are publicly held accountable.

• “The Parallel Society vs Totalitarianism | How to Create a Free World” (https://academyofideas.com/2022/02/parallel-society-vs-totalitarianism-how-to-create-a-free-world/)

“If it proves impossible legally to compel the ruling power to change the ways it governs us, and if for various reasons those who reject this power cannot or do not wish to overthrow it by force, then the creation of an independent or alternative or parallel [society] is the only dignified solution …”

Unfortunately, it seems that there are still way too many people in society that say, "that could never happen" and a large part of them also just don't care if it does. I am not someone who lives in fear, but everything described above is exactly what I have feared for many years. She seems to be really trying, but... that doesn't make her more helpful to me. I'm hoping that getting back to the office (Ontario resident) and yelling over the cubicle wall will allow me to fix her up, but I think it may be just a comprehension issue. We'll see, I guess. Pretty sad that so many young people just can't comprehend the text they are reading
