2020: Stay home and don't go to work for America!

2021: If you don't go to work you're a terrorist!

Sounds about right.

Civil disobedience is the new terrorism.

Because the elites are rightfully terrified of it.

And when it is actual terrorism it’s “mostly peaceful” protest. Tone world has flipped.

My wife and I are supposed to fly on SWA Friday morning. I’ll drive if necessary. I’d rather drive than see these SW employees knuckle under. Hopefully, the lawsuit prevails. It is Texas after all.

And this is what Lenin meant by the importance of controlling the “commanding heights” of the economy. Marching around town with flags and placards is nice … and so bourgeois. It is easy to ignore because it doesn't really inconvenience anyone (including the marchers). It's like saying, “Give us what we want oh great ones. If you don't, well … then we will march next Saturday too! And then we can all go out to the cafe after a share stories of what good revolutionaries we all are.” But when teachers, nurses, truckers, pilots, or air traffic controllers stage a sick out, or a work slow down, people notice. After a short while, it begins to pinch. Good on the Southwest employees for finally demonstrating the power of labor.

A tax boycott would also get their attention.

Outstanding post!!!! And isn't it amazing...BLM burns down cities and shoots cops and that is a peaceful protest defending democracy...a pilot does not want to get jabbed with a useless and dangerous experimental drug...and this is domestic terrorism...this system is broken...time for a change.

Thank you for the inspiring post, el Gato! I pray the tides are turning. It's so important that even those that are pro-Cv19 vax need to realize that we are all in this together. I think of my workplace, where I am the only person at my office that hasn't been ouchied, what if EVERYONE just said NO, I'm not going to share my vax status with you (vaxed or not). The employer would be helpless. They can't fire all of us. Same goes for my son, who is bravely losing his firefighting career over the mandate. What if every firefighter in the department stood together as brothers and said NO to the mandate. The City would be paralyzed and would have to rescind the mandate. It's too late now for them. Hope more catch on!

Every leftist POS calling for the strikers' heads are absolutely, 100% pro-union, pro-"Occupy," and pro-UBI for doing no work at all.

These people love the idea of not having to work. Just as long as YOU keep working.

That they would use words that tell the government "kill these people here" tells you how deep this runs.

There will be no fucking settlement.

Yes. These people only voice a dislike of elites/aristocrats/royalty because THEY aren't the ones on the throne.

It's particularly amusing because, as the old saw goes, they'll be the first ones against the wall.

Without class solidarity between blue-collar and white-collar workers, the oligarchy wins.

The real terrorists are the people forcibly injecting other people against their will with unsafe substances that have had zero long term safety testing.

FYI from an insider: “The brass does have a PR problem. This past weekend our sick call rate was 22-23%. This is the normal rate that we have been seeing during this summer. High overall but this past weekend wasn’t any higher than say the weekend before. The problem the company has now is that they wrote a schedule for 100% manning with only 75% personnel on property. They did this thinking the pilots would fly extra for higher wages. The problem of late is that they have been severely overworking us and as a whole we are reluctant to pick up even an extra day knowing that you will be gone for probably 3 days. We cancelled a little over a thousand flights yesterday. With as thin as we are right now, any small disturbance in the system shuts large sections of it down.“. He went on to say “ The COVID mandate is just icing on the cake. Not really sure how that is going to work out. Management, since Herb left, really have dropped the ball as a whole. Gary Kelly in particular has put the dollar before people, opposite of what Herb did. Time will tell”

The effectiveness of what these pilots are doing lies entirely in its visibility to those low information individuals who are bubble wrapped in the fantasy world of mainstream media. Southwest corporate clearly realized this and immediately issued farcically implausible but easily repeatable lies about the cause of the cancellations.

Peaceful protest and resistance must aim to radicalize the normally passive masses; therefore, it must be attached to messaging. Sectors of the economy that impact everyday life are the high value targets for organized, peaceful resistance.

But be careful, that Palmer tweet presages the future straight out of Road to Serfdom: questioning the plan harms the chances the plan will succeed. Thus violence will be portrayed as justified against those who even question the plan.

There's a word, beginning with "s," for when we decide people's right to bodily autonomy doesn't outweigh our demand for the goods and services they produce.

"Bravery?" "Shavery?"

SWA pilot friend said that it's not actually them at this point - it's air traffic controllers - bc SWA systems are not equipped to handle the rerouting so it's disproportionately affecting them. The wave is coming though - SWA pilots will prob walk next.

Only 1/3 the populace participated in the American revolution. We stand on principle and God-given rights. I rescind my permission to be governed by Marxist dictators.

Reminds me of a Simpsons quote where Lisa was talking to George Washington in a dream sequence: "We had cowards during the Revolutionary War too. We called them Kentuckyians!"

My mother was a sterwardess with American Airlines for many years. If she were still alive, you can bed she'd be protesting, either by flying to Dallas to join the others or by starting her own protest with her colleagues right here in Puerto Rico.
