is "go woke go broke" driving "go woke, go home"?
a movement predicated on being uncriticizable will not survive contact with reality. and reality is coming.
in recent months and weeks many have taken issue with my claims that woke has jumped the shark and is already going into decline. but to my mind, it’s getting more and more obvious that this is true. it’s why the media and governmental messaging has become so shrill.
woke is dying.
because nobody likes it.
and nature is starting to heal.
disney, netflix, twitter, it’s all coming apart. all flipping.
you cannot make money on woke. no one will pay for it.
this is why government wants to make it mandatory with ESG scoring etc.
but this is going to be an epic fail.
they missed the zeitgeist horribly on this one and are miles behind the game.
and so new management is taking back the reins from the woke warriors who ran so many companies into ditches and the systems of propagation by which these dandelions became the lawn are now running in reverse.
and there was much rejoicing!

and the emerging truth will be this:
for all that people are (mostly disingenuously) attacking elon musk, the reality is something quite different. the reality is not their hatred of him (though they certainly do seem to hate him now.)
the reality is their desperate reactionary defense of their whole crybully way of life as it is, with puckish glee, upended by someone who has had more than enough of woke.
and they have no idea what to do.
their entire ethos and praxis has been arranging the world in such a manner that they are the only ones allowed to speak. they take over media, movies, TV, museums, classrooms, and conversation. the bristle with nasty energy always ready to attack anyone voicing disagreement and they censor, cancel, and shout down anyone who dares diverge.
it’s rule by fear.
these people are impossible to work with, unpleasant to work near, and have been driving away customers and co-workers alike.
their movies bomb. their oppressive performative regimes are exhausting.
they add nothing and demand everything.
and seeing them leave is nature healing.
now it’s only government that is still driving wokeward.
and this is going to cost them dearly.
because everyone is rapidly waking up from this dionysia of derangement and seeking to once more put society and civilization aright. the pandemic of the woke mind virus is ending and with it the air cover of idea monopoly that has held this up.
and because the whole thing is so hilariously overdone, false, and presumptive, it’s going to unravel fast once the ball gets rolling.
and because almost no one actually likes these people, the rest of us are going to enjoy doing it.
the big questions are coming.
the simple fact is this:
if your ideology experiences the free speech of others as existential threat, your ideology sucks.
it's not real.
it's not valid.
it's not defensible.
if it were, you would no be so terrified of what someone else might say if you allowed them any license to voice an opinion.
and this will be impossible to hide any longer.
the typical people are acting typically.
but it’s just smokescreen and farce.
imagine mistaking this for “impartial journalism.”
imaging thinking the people are with you as you say such things…
clearly, the “vulnerable community” here is phony baloney journalists on the “neuroticism beat” who, despite having a national masthead and 345k alleged followers, get less engagement on tweets than many 40k accounts.
her now hotly promoted substack gets 10 likes a posting.
small wonder they are in absolute terror.
they have flipped over into what they hope is self-preservation but will wind up being self-harm and self-parody.
and it’s going to be delicious.
i'll bet they are alarmed.
their entire ideology relies upon suppressing dissenting views and being the only one talking in order to make itself seem like a legitimate majority when the fact of the matter is that it is neither.
and that's about to become crystal clear.
this whole movement is predicated on no one being allowed to question it. it simply defines its own core salients as “non-interrogatable” and then demands to deconstruct all else in a game of “punch no punchbacks” that is critical to its survival because if there is one thing that woke cannot do, it’s take a punch.
and they are coming.
the wokelord tantrum anger at this will be their undoing.
and our laughter our salvation.
this pairing represents an accelerating disaster curve for woke.
first slowly, then all at once.
they cannot see it yet, but the game is already over.
the exponential has begun.
the great part about “woke” is that it’s such a baroque mess of internal contradictions that every act and every statement carries within it its own “instadunk” allowing one to clown the perpetrator and reveal them to be the delusional hypocrite that they almost certainly are.
the outlandish webs of special pleading required to hold these rube-goldberg philosophical contraptions together cannot stand up to even rudimentary scrutiny or interrogation.
it is only by cowing all critics into silence that this bankrupt faux-philosophy has been able to persist.
but the fear is over.
and now woke faces the true existential test:
compete on a free and fair playing field or run away and exile yourselves to cultural ignominy.
and both are losers.
you either get trounced or you fade away.
and neither will serve to prop up the edifice of dissent suppression required to keep a hot mess like this intact and en vogue.
the pretense of being a “moral majority” has broken.
change is in the wind.
and who knows what might happen next…
I’m disappointed nobody has ever asked my pronouns. I really wanted to see what the reaction would be when someone said “hey what’s your pronoun?” And I reply “Bitch”. But sadly, nobody has ever asked. Maybe it’s just obvious.
Some of this stuff is written into law for California based companies. I recently took a sexual harassment training course for my CA based company that included the requirement that I use co-worker's "preferred pronouns" and not "dead name them".
I won't. I won't be speaking to the gender wierdos. If forced, I will use their last name exclusively. If I get canned, I'll pursue any legal options available. Anyone who starts a company in CA is nuts, but the threat is still written into law there, which is going to make it hard to undo without legal action.
