Just came across this whilst reading up on another issue. A reminder from the cradle of RNA virus, animals.
“Like other RNA viruses, the Foot & Mouth Disease virus continually evolves and mutates, thus one of the difficulties in vaccinating against it is the huge variation between, and even within, serotypes. No cross-protection has been seen between serotypes (a vaccine for one serotype will not protect against any others) and in addition, two strains within a given serotype may have nucleotide sequences that differ by as much as 30% for a given gene. This means FMD vaccines must be highly specific to the strain involved. Vaccination only provides temporary immunity that lasts from months to years.”
I lived through two FMD outbreaks in Britain - quite brutal, thousands of animals slaughtered - and UK Govt policy was not to vaccinate, unlike some Continental Countries - specifically because the virus could not be eradicated and could still be evolving in livestock, but vaccination giving a false sense of security.
So we knew the pseudo-vaccines for CoVid would not achieve the results claimed - nor did they, for the exact same reasons already well understood, and instead have actually promoted evolution of CoV 2. (The FMD vaccines used are live or synthetic whole virus not mRNA ju-ju juice.)
Yet still they recommend more and more doses of a product geared to one specific protein despite mutation producing significantly different ones against which it cannot be effective - as evidenced by observing the recent data.
If only they had followed and were following the science.
