this is a truly sobering tour of the extent to which even purported doctors are now suffering from stockholm syndrome. they have been so twisted around and turned upside down that they cannot even parse the concepts involved in their children’s lives anymore.

the parents have gone patty hearst.

vaccines did not keep your child in school.

that’s the self-serving claim of the kidnappers.

the reality is that it’s the bizarre rules that contradict every bit of longstanding pandemic guidance that kept the kids out.

the only reason vaccines did anything to affect attendance is the empty pseudoscientific legalism masquerading as health policy that folks like dr kass have been pushing.

none of it was necessary. none of it was even true.

“THE email!”

i mean, give me a break.

what, that your kid, who faces a near zero threat from covid was near someone who had covid and might possibly have been exposed?

the correct response to this is “so what?”

the correct response is to never have even looked for this.

this was not covid.

monomaniacal hyper-scrutiny and fear is what took kids out of school and more of the same is not the solution.

the correct response was recognizing that school closures are not and never were an effective pandemic tool.

the superstitious belief that they were, conjured from fear and desperation is what kept the children home.

masks do absolutely nothing in schools, never did, and never will. they are a talisman, not a real NPI. distancing or the 20 other forms of “contagion” cosplay from plexiglass to half full classrooms that have been inflicted upon our kids are similarly baseless.

your mask protects me
way back in april of last year, many of us started to predict mask mandates would emerge as the low energy pathway for politicians. mandates would enable them to look like they had done something and to demand and enforce social virtue with highly visible in-group/out-group markers. they key plank in this claim was always “your mask protects me…

dreaming these endless shenanigans up and limiting capacity is what kept kids out of school.

parents and doctors like dara are what kept kids out of school.

the vaccines do not even help with spread alleviation. they are non-sterilizing and look at be associated with MORE not fewer cases. the data on it is glaring.

an epidemic of the vaccinated
gatopal™ don wolt has been building a great series chart based on the UK vaccine surveillance reports. and it’s getting more and more striking by the week. the covid infection rates among the vaccinated now exceed the unvaxxed in every age group over 30. you can grab raw data…

so how can this be “what keeps kids in school?” if you’re worried about spread, vaccines are not any help at all. honestly, if it were a drug, you could probably get “unvaxxed” approved by the FDA to stop covid.

if "unvaccinated" were a drug to stop covid spread, you could probably get it FDA approved
all data in this piece come the the UK week 45 vaccine surveillance report or from prior versions of that report. you can download them HERE. it has become an exceedingly well established fact that the covid vaccines are non-sterilizing. they do not prevent infection, transmission, or spread. the balance of evidence now looks very strong that…

the idea that it is somehow the reason kids can stay in school is absurd on any actual scientific or epidemiological basis.

vaccines keep kids in school for one reason and one reason alone: because that’s the made up rule that was put in place.

it’s a foolish, pointless, harmful stricture that is pushing a terrible risk reward upon children and exposing them to deeply negative expected value/net harm in order to placate the wet pant atavistic fears of parents who damn well ought to know better both medically and morally.

pfizer says their covid vaccine works in kids 5 to 11. does it?
pfizer came out this morning with the aggressive claim that their vaccine “works in kids 5-11 years old” and that they will soon seek approval. this is clearly a cash cow for them and parents and school boards beset by carefully inculcated night terrors about the risk covid poses to their children and to schools are all desperate for “a solution” that fe…

watching folks like dara laud this bogus plan they pushed and harm and traumatize kids is bad enough, but watching them wrap themselves in virtue and self-congratulation for the horrific mandates they put in place as though they are some property of the universe and not the craven, immoral choices they made becomes simply intolerable.

they, not covid, are the problem. this was never needed. it has not and could not have worked. the places that did not do it got the same results as those who did without the trauma and loss of learning. many are currently outperforming.

covid was not the issue. the response was.

it wasn’t the virus. it was the humans.

and now they are deep into some weird hybrid of stockholm syndrome and munchausen’s by proxy. they have identified with the kidnappers, become the kidnappers, and are addicted to pretending that kids are at dire risk so that they can “save” them.

this is mental illness.

and it’s LONG past time they were called out on it.

they, not the kids, are the ones that ought to be in quarantine.

The way I see it (and have for a long time now) is that if ANY of this stuff worked, considering that a HUGE percentage of the population has taken part in all of this insanity (masking, sanitizing, distancing, getting shot up) there would literally be no one getting sick on the entire earth. I am still amazed that there are this many people who are dumbed down enough to still believe in any of this. Doesn't anyone just look around anymore? My goodness! The evidence of failure is all around and we literally have historical proof of protocols that actually DO work. I'll never get over this insanity for the rest of my days. Unbelievable.
