I don't remember all that it protected against. Rabies was one, which is a vaccine I do want. I think West Nile was in there. Maybe it was the four way. My horse was an EPM horse and my new vet said he's seen problems with West Nile and EPM horses. I should be getting her histopathology report anytime. She died about a month later. It all started with a nephropsplenic entrapment which isn't related to vaccines. But I still wonder.

My horses legs always alarmingly stocked up after combined vaccinations so we started splitting them up which worked better.

Yes. Her kidneys were angry in a few days. Her necropsy showed they had infarcts. She had other stuff wrong too.

Thanks it was awful. The local clinic I worked with was great. But they thought the university clinic could help her, but I don't think I will ever take an animal there again.

I don't trust any of the larger hospitals or clinics any more, for my dogs or horses. Arrogance & expensive equipment to pay for.
