Is that child bearing cobalt to slake our thirst for rare earth minerals, so we can virtue signal with or not clean energy? These lives are precious and important too. Lord have mercy.

lithium is close to as dangerous a substance as you can find..... the tech for 'recycling' is iffy!

go ahead and charge the ev's off your roof top slave labor panels....

when your tesla impacts an unexpected solid object do the responders know how to deal with a battery case rupture or fire?

The number of kids killed in The Congo mining cobalt is horrific. Musk has been promising to wean his batteries from cobalt for years. No substitute, battery development been dead in the water for a decade. Japanese say impenetrable wall has been stopping progress. lithium batteries are not recyclable no matter how the cheerleaders spin it, they go into landfills along with turbine blades. US has 1100 coal fired power plants-the vast majority. Virtue signaling Tesla owners are just rich narcissists driving coal fired cars that were an environmental nightmare to produce. Did you ever hear of a used Tesla buyer? Didn't think so.
