No offense taken, may have retorted such myself. As it is a sign of our times.

Highly recommend Dr. Jason Fung's book The Cancer Code. He's a nephrologist in Canada and has been a big proponent of fasting (not necessarily best idea for older women). Great writer and his cancer book is not about treatments but what IS cancer, very accessible and great book for a reading club.
If more people understood WHY cancer is so untreatable, they would be much more mindful of their lifestyles.
Here's a lay persons take - it's two different "entities" tumor mast vs. metastatic cancer - the cellular structure is different and chemotherapy treatment for one sometimes promotes the other.
Holly, haha, indeed—gallows humor helps us get through this.
I have that audiobook—just haven’t had time to listen to it yet! I have listened to The Diabetes Code and am well-aware of his work. I practice casual intermittent fasting combined with a primal/low-carb high-fat/keto diet.
Strategic fasting induces autophagy, which many consider the key to a longer, healthier life and may aid with beating cancer (autophagy triggers the clean-up of damaged cells and the regeneration of new ones). I suspect Fung addresses that in The Cancer Code but wanted to mention it for those who are fighting cancer or know others who are.
Interesting theory and good point about chemotherapy. Unfortunately, most conventional doctors are oblivious to the hazards of the standard American diet and fail to recommend dietary and lifestyle changes that could prevent and in some cases mitigate cancer.
But many are becoming aware of diet/health hypothesis and the limitation/bias of their (expensive) training.
The next big thing, which I tend to harp on (sorry), is the role of seed oils. Dr. Chris Knobbe has a number of videos/graphs showing the rise in illness is in lockstep with the rise of seed oil consumption.
Pretty much eliminated chicken to rarely eaten due to the fact it's the highest source of linoleic acid in most Americans diets.
Not sure if the powers-that-be realize by firing 10% of medical staff, they might just created a true (more aptly named) healthcare system, in which diet is pivotal (but personalized) resulting in a decrease in sick-care expenditures.
Holly, yes, industrial seed oils are toxic. I like your positive take on the potential outcome for the healthcare catastrophe in the making. I keep saying all of these people of integrity, skill, knowledge, and talent who are being fired from their positions for taking an ethical stand should form a parallel system (education, health care, etc.). Would need to come up with a way of skirting the laws around traditional licensing as that is currently being used to suppress and control dissent. Perhaps if it’s billed as some sort of alternative health care, practitioners wouldn’t be subjected to penalties for practicing without a license.
Direct Primary Care is an option for physicians, NP's, PA's and other credentialed staff.
Coaching, aka Mark Sisson's program, Chris Kressler, Shawn Baker etc.
Am hoping some of these entities are already reaching out to their colleagues and hopefully can waive/discount fees.
Personally, I think if Virta Health offered their services FREE to those recently dismissed, and no longer insured, it would really add a boost to the regaining health/decreasing the size of the medical industrial complex movement.

Holly, that’s great to know! I think there’s tremendous potential there if people can come together to make it happen.
