studies show:

you can poop with your pants on too

I was thinking along the lines of pantyhose as birth control.

Expand full comment

That doesn't work: every time you thrust, the lady's toes bend upwards. It's distracting.

This is hilarious!! My hubs and I nearly fell off the couch laughing.

You are so naughty! Lol

But amusing

Very! Lol

Used to be respectable to rob liquor stores wearing panty hose on your head. Look what the world's come to.

Expand full comment

Now robbers don't need pantyhose: they can just wear a mask and appear to be timid.

Expand full comment

Lol, I hope it’s not the Fredrick’s of Hollywood ones! Lol

Expand full comment

I see “fish net” panty hose as birth control the same as any mask controlling a respiratory “virus”….

LMAO!

Never thought about that

That's the hole (pun intended) problem with masks and Covid, isn't it?

Must we slavishly follow the behavior of our president?

Expand full comment

you dont have to behave like a puppet tyrant or eat ice cream or sniff peoples hair its all optional until he mandates it

Or take showers with your 11 y/o daughter. Beyond gross…

Wait this is specific... is there evidence of him doing this that I don’t know about?

Here's an off-topic cartoon from my favorite naughty online cartoonist that uses just that phrase. In a desperate attempt to make it seem germane to this conversation, I submit the strip as an allegory of the perils of redefining terms amid a crisis.

It really is an IQ test isn't it.

Only a few percent seem to be able to pass it though.

But we should keep everyone masked and locked down, and we should mandate boosting and enforce compliance with tracking technologies. Otherwise, we might wind up like Japan.

Japan did not mandate vaccination. Nor does their constitution permit lockdowns. What happened? An apocalypse!

Japan, despite have a population size roughly equal to 39% of the USA population size, has only roughly 30,497 Covid deaths to the 1,031,218 American Covid deaths. Also, according to the WHO, for 2020-2021, Japan averaged a negative 8 excess deaths per 100,000 people, within a confidence interval of negative 14 to negative 2 excess deaths; the USA, 140 excess deaths per 100,000 people, within a confidence interval of 134 to 147 excess deaths.

Can you imagine living in a society in which people are not simply falling over and dying? In the which the population is generally healthy? As a proud American, I cannot either.

Likewise, as someone who holds stocks in Big Pharma, I find the prospect terrifying. No one profits from healthy people. I call them: "job-destroyers." Let us not only mask up, but also wear gloves as we type on our keyboards. So that we do not spread bad ideas.

The head of Japan's Health Services recommends the use of Ivermectin to prevent/treat COVID. Such a person would be drummed out of public service here.

That reminds me of a class I took many moons ago, can't remember the name of it but it had something to do with business administration. The prof was talking about how much the American economy loses because of stress and stress-related illnesses, and since I worked in preclinical pharmaceutical research at the time I spoke up and said "au contraire, stress is VERY good for the economy. It provides jobs, especially in the medical and pharmaceutical industries. If stress were really as harmful to business as everyone says, they'd be looking for ways to prevent it from happening. But that is not the case, what they are doing is finding ways to make people be even more productive while doing absolutely nothing to eliminate or reduce the stress they created in the first place." For example, doing more with less--piling on work and hours, instead of looking at workloads and staffing. Well now the chickens have come home to roost because now employers are hurting big time. And they will continue to hurt as their older, more reliable workers leave due to physical/mental burnout. For the past year at least I have been warning my supervisor and anyone else who would listen that they need to get serious about training new hires on my machine as the day is coming when their old reliable standby isn't going to be there. Well that day has come. I am putting in my two weeks notice and retiring as I have gotten to the point where I am risking my health to continue. Of course that will put an even greater burden on those who are left but NOT MY PROBLEM.

Expand full comment

No it is NOT. Your health and sanity first, everything else second. I made the mistake of making myself sick to solve other people's problems. They just kept creating more problems. Never again. All best with your new life!

"Can you imagine living in a society in which people are not simply falling over and dying?"

Or one where anyone without a pulse isn't declared a Covid death?

The main purpose of the covid theater has been to obscure the fact that modern occidental health care is so broken that a mild respiratory virus was able to collapse a fundamentally inoperative system.

We have been discussing at length if lockdowns and masks work, vaccine side effects and the like, but we are not discussing the real issue. Why are people dying here and not there?

Had some comments on that post explaining the differences between USA healthcare and elsewhere. As for the USA, some more thoughts here, for what it is worth: https://americanexile.substack.com/p/decolonizing-health-to-fight-fatphobia

Have recent post coming out on polypharmacy in the USA. We're taking more and more prescription drugs -- but not getting healthier.

Yep-our media is f.c.. In the Sydney newspaper yesterday 2 BS articles. One explaining why aussies are now dying younger with excess deaths up 7 fold, then another explaining a quartet of viruses are smashing our hospitals and filling them up with sick people. They go on to say the Drs are asking for nasal swabs for 20 different infections. All the cause of Covid .No mention that maybe with all the massive jabs that have been stuck into peoples arms may have left them susceptible to just about all viruses

Expand full comment

its the jabs...

Expand full comment

It’s definitely the jabs.

Expand full comment

Curious, are any of those viruses the flu by chance?

Expand full comment

covid 19,flue,rsv and whooping cough

Expand full comment

These health professionals are something else. They have always had a panel test for these same respiratory viruses. This is nothing new, they just added the unreliable COVID test to it. I would also have to guess the lockdowns affected immune systems terribly.

I recall reading some years ago that the whole mouth-to-mouth thingy was obsolete and chest compressions were sufficient until expert help arrived. True or not true?

Expand full comment

It is true...but...only if you are in a place where help will come in 5-10 minutes. They made this the recommendation because people were averse to the mouth-to-mouth and instead did ...nothing. By taking away mouth-to-mouth, more people do chest compressions and more lives are saved, esp. when medics show up with oxygen. But it is best to do mouth-to-mouth AND chest compressions. They dumbed it down for a dumbed-down population scared of mouth cooties.

Expand full comment

"if you are in a place where help will come in 5-10 minutes". Last time I checked, about 10 days ago, 9-1-1 call waits were averaging over 20 minutes. And ambulance responses over an hour.

Expand full comment

I think there's a difference between being "scared of mouth cooties" and just finding it disgusting to have full open mouth-to-mouth contact with a stranger. It may not be helpful to be gagging rather than giving the breath of life as you try to save someone.

Expand full comment

Our instructor didn't tell us about help coming in time. They always recommended the mouth guard. We were forced to take the class. I have terrible problems with my knees. I told them if they're about to die they better fall on a table, so I don't have to kneel.

Expand full comment

I was forced to do a first aid course as a teacher many years ago. We were taught nothing of any remote use to us. The focus was on car crashes and somebody not breathing etc. The whole thing could have bees summed up in one sentence. Call emergency services ( youre too incompetent to do anything)

Expand full comment

Yes, they showed us how to use those plastic mouth guards if you have one on hand.

Expand full comment

At the same time?

Expand full comment

True. That's what we were told at work....during the CPR class.

Expand full comment

That would depend of where you are at. In about 50 areas in Sweden, ambulance and fire brigad as well as social services need police escort. Often, the police also needs police escort else their vehicles catches on fire. Mysteriously so, according to state media.

And it's not the areas where Andersson, Johnsson, Petersson and me live, just saying.
