I do. maybe she doesnt. maybe she should turn off NPR then. when you understand the human body and then statistics and data and you can look at the situation on a macro then micro level and get the whole picture it is VERY CLEAR. i find those kinds comments the grey zone. operating in the grey zone bc its safe. you dont piss anyone off. i think people ought to be pissed off. they ought to be VERY angry and scared for our future. maybe then they too will start to use colorful language and actually make fkng difference.

I do find it extremely shocking that he of all people is missing the extraordinarily blatant implementation of everything he’s warned about and that is precisely captured in every book he recommends (Gulag Archipelago, Ordinary Men, Orwell *everything*, etc.). I used to listen to NPR every day. It was my only source of news. Now, I can't listen 5 minutes without some grossly slanted pro-vaccine story....so I turn it off the moment they say vaccine. I will never contribute to them again and their daily BS adds to how pissed off I feel about the assault on our children, the lies, the lockdowns, the mandates, and the overall betrayal of our "government".
I agree I used to actually like NPR especially the arts shows and reporting. but they are absolutely intolerable now. I’ve seen a few videos of people both alone or in front of panels, with and without medical licenses, but all of them well-informed and well-sourced, explain using both extended breakdowns and brief “let’s look at the totals”, that “we’re killing more people than we’re saving”. That’s in addition to doctors (with the backing of lawyers in one case) who’ve written letters of grave concern to the FDA, nurses who’ve posted alarmed videos because they’re witnessing actual death orders take place (and these nurses include their full name + place of work), midwives coming forward about how many stillborns they’re seeing now vs the past, hospital employees galore decrying what a few have termed a medical holocaust...
The total insanity we’re currently experiencing is not happening due to a lack of awareness. It’s not a bug in the program. It’s a feature of it.

Wait. I’m no expert on medical matters but if they’re approving a blood thinner right now for children at the same time as their killshot, I’m guessing it’s meant to attenuate deaths (they’ll be sterile, is all) in order to not get a huge wave of enraged mourning parents rising against them. DuckDuckGo has been my go-to. I’ll try Yandex for research, they may be better than DDG (certainly shorter name). Someone in a thread mentioned using Ecosia. Have never tried it. It’s almost an insurmountable challenge once you realize google has over 90% of the market. Hell, it was not easy to change search engines and that was with me actually wanting to!
Qwant has been a solid pick from France. The relevance of the DDG algos are weak at best, especially for research. If you need that Goolag SRP to hit just right but you don't want to feed the beast, try StartPage which siphons from them and displays them without their tracing. Or so they say.
I recently switched from DDG to Qwant and have been impressed with the relevance of the results, the speed, and the apparent lack of algorithmic manipulation.
I have friends in NoCA that act and think just like your parents…they are not young, have three adult children ages 23-31, are not for the vaxx but still listen to NPR. I told them they have to get off listening to that rubbish, that they are the enemy as much as MSNBC, CNN and even Fox News is! I just don’t get this selective thinking they have. German culture as a collection of Nation states seems to have been a fairly prosperous free tolerant place to be for that time. Much more so than almost anywhere else up until that time. And then the 1930s happened. So Sowell said , if it can happen in German than what chance do the rest of us have. Sobering thought right! SO all thats left in the FDA are a bunch of brown nosing suck ups. THis is what you get when executive power is concentrated in fewer and fewer hands until it ends up embodied in one person like a king or emperor . I feel guilty even thinking about it because 5-11 year old children are innocent and I would never wish harm upon innocents, but parents who consent giving their kids this thing and if the kids suffer harm as a result, I feel like these parents deserve whatever happens... I feel guilty even thinking this way and on some level I know I should have compassion for the parents b/c alot of them have been so brainwashed to fear this virus and conditioned to think their kids are at high risk that they will line their kids up to get this shot and think they are doing the right thing. I have physician colleagues who, the day the shots were available for teenagers lined their high school kids up for this thing and willingly offered up their teenage children to the prophets of Moloch. I couldnt believe it. My two sons arent going anywhere near this thing for at least 3-4 years. My older son got covid in august when I did and has serum antibodies. Now I fear that after the gov election in NJ, Murphy will squeak by and impose a vax mandate for all returned school kids in the Fall of 22 like in CA. I will have to withdraw my 14 yo now freshman son from the public school system and leave NJ. Craven virtue signaling evil lunatics. Injecting children with experimental drugs for a condition for which they are not at any sig risk is definitely a hill to die on. That and firearms confiscation... Liberty is worth fighting for

I hope to do the right thing to the best of my ability and, then, leave everything in his loving hands. In reality, this is Ephesians 6 spiritual war and requires the "full armor of God."

We cannot and should not lose sight of God's sovereignty and his love for "those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose" (excerpted from Romans 8:28 NIV 1984). Do all that you can while walking closely with him then trust his guidance, wisdom and protection when you need it the most.
Hi Sarah, the entire verse of Romans 8:28 is very powerful and I lean on it often and read it while putting emphasis on each phrase. It is also often misunderstood. In full, it reads (in the 1984 printing of the NIV):
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
That does NOT mean that everything that happens is good; not by a long shot because many things happen that are not good. It does mean that God will use anything and everything that happens to glorify His name and to the ultimate benefit of those who love him and have been called to serve Him.
These are dark events, but I feel honored to live at a time when we can watch God's prophesies being fulfilled. We need the peace that comes from knowing God. Philippians 4:6,7 also helps me though I need more practice. Live out the first sentence and you've just got to love the second sentence "... and the peace of God, ..."!

I live in a smallish foothills town in Northern California, and things are fairly sane here. It's much more red here, but unfortunately the large coastal cities seem to control California. Stores here post "masks required" signs, but then you go inside and most people aren't wearing them. No vax mandates for kids here either. A lot of schools here have operated all along in the last 18 months. We've been going to restaurants that fought to stay open and going to our gym the whole past 18 months. This state is a bit schizophrenic and we have a lot of counties that all behave differently, but all the main craziness is in LA and SF and other coastal areas. A lot of Northern California wants to split off from the rest of the state, and if that could ever happen (unlikely, though), it would be red.
Hard to say, but ultimately given how things have been since this started (a lot of push-back from the very beginning), I don't think most people will accept the vax mandates at all. Things have been weird here. This used to be a very conservative area but sadly it has been infiltrated with Bay Area people fleeing the stupidity they voted for, all while they continue to vote the same up here—big disconnect with their voting and what happens as a result. So now there are more of them up here than before and this is more of a purple county now. For example, in the recent recall election Newscum prevailed here, disappointingly. There's a bit of Covid theater going on, but it seems like most people are fiercely resistant and there have been relatively few confrontations anywhere, kind of a live and let live attitude mostly. So there have been a lot of "work-arounds", i.e. put a sign up saying "masks required" to make it look like you are complying, but then the reality is "wear them if you want, don't wear them if you want" and no one challenges you. Theoretically you can get fined for not wearing a mask inside stores etc., but in reality no one has been charged.
i am in canada. its not that we will avoid it...its that it is NOT EVEN A POSSIBILITY. pull your children immediately from the system. they are better off anyway. protect the innocent at ALL costs.

I just heard a government sponsored radio ad proclaiming the vaccine has been proven safe for children. What amazes me is that so much of the listening public will accept that as the truth. The woman I talked with did not expect a vaccine requirement for schoolkids anytime before fall 2023. I used to listen to NPR every day. It was my only source of news. Now, I can't listen 5 minutes without some grossly slanted pro-vaccine story....so I turn it off the moment they say vaccine. I will never contribute to them again and their daily BS adds to how pissed off I feel about the assault on our children, the lies, the lockdowns, the mandates, and the overall betrayal of our "government".

I agree I used to actually like NPR especially the arts shows and reporting. but they are absolutely intolerable now. If I watch CNN for five minutes my jaw drops open at how nakedly propagandistic they have become. CNN and these other outlets are state media. That’s in addition to doctors (with the backing of lawyers in one case) who’ve written letters of grave concern to the FDA, nurses who’ve posted alarmed videos because they’re witnessing actual death orders take place (and these nurses include their full name + place of work), midwives coming forward about how many stillborns they’re seeing now vs the past, hospital employees galore decrying what a few have termed a medical holocaust...

I feel guilty even thinking about it because 5-11 year old children are innocent and I would never wish harm upon innocents, but parents who consent giving their kids this thing and if the kids suffer harm as a result, I feel like these parents deserve whatever happens... Hi Sarah, the entire verse of Romans 8:28 is very powerful and I lean on it often and read it while putting emphasis on each phrase. It is also often misunderstood. In full, it reads (in the 1984 printing of the NIV):
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
That does NOT mean that everything that happens is good; not by a long shot because many things happen that are not good. It does mean that God will use anything and everything that happens to glorify His name and to the ultimate benefit of those who love him and have been called to serve Him.
These are dark events, but I feel honored to live at a time when we can watch God's prophesies being fulfilled. We need the peace that comes from knowing God. Philippians 4:6,7 also helps me though I need more practice. Live out the first sentence and you've just got to love the second sentence "... and the peace of God, ..."!

I live in a smallish foothills town in Northern California, and things are fairly sane here. It's much more red here, but unfortunately the large coastal cities seem to control California. Stores here post "masks required" signs, but then you go inside and most people aren't wearing them. No vax mandates for kids here either. A lot of schools here have operated all along in the last 18 months. We've been going to restaurants that fought to stay open and going to our gym the whole past 18 months. This state is a bit schizophrenic and we have a lot of counties that all behave differently, but all the main craziness is in LA and SF and other coastal areas. A lot of Northern California wants to split off from the rest of the state, and if that could ever happen (unlikely, though), it would be red.

Hard to say, but ultimately given how things have been since this started (a lot of push-back from the very beginning), I don't think most people will accept the vax mandates at all. Things have been weird here. This used to be a very conservative area but sadly it has been infiltrated with Bay Area people fleeing the stupidity they voted for, all while they continue to vote the same up here—big disconnect with their voting and what happens as a result. So now there are more of them up here than before and this is more of a purple county now. For example, in the recent recall election Newscum prevailed here, disappointingly. There's a bit of Covid theater going on, but it seems like most people are fiercely resistant and there have been relatively few confrontations anywhere, kind of a live and let live attitude mostly. So there have been a lot of "work-arounds", i.e. put a sign up saying "masks required" to make it look like you are complying, but then the reality is "wear them if you want, don't wear them if you want" and no one challenges you. Theoretically you can get fined for not wearing a mask inside stores etc., but in reality no one has been charged.

Those of you in Washington should be interested to hear that I called the state superintendent's office this afternoon, after news of the vote. The woman I talked with did not expect a vaccine requirement for schoolkids anytime before fall 2023. This is because regular authorization of the vaccine(s) would be needed first, and there would then need to be a policy process that includes hearings and public comment on any proposed requirement.
