Along with Bono and Susan Rice. I saw a clip from this documentary where Bono is gushing over Fauci while "interviewing" him. Truly nauseating.

to think - back in the day i loved U2 and believed Bono was a regular guy who used his art for good. oh. well.

Expand full comment

i used to like u2. their first singles were really good. i started getting suspicious of bono around the time joshua tree came out and it went from bad to worse thereafter. the pure pagan gods of music will rip his soul to pieces for using art the way he has.

Expand full comment

U2 used to be one of my favorite bands. The consensus is that Bono was always egomaniacal but he has become particularly insufferable over the last two decades.

For me, it started around 2002 when Bono began cozying up to the WEF and Bill Gates ostensibly to secure support for humanitarian causes. By 2011, he was parroting the globalist narrative verbatim and condemning capitalism as 'amoral'. It didn't shock me to see him prostrating before St. Fauci or trading texts with his pals, Oprah and Nancy Pelosi.

My wife is from Russia. One of her favorite stories used to be how she and her girlfriends studied U2 lyrics to improve their English. We've seen U2 live several times. She can't listen to them anymore and she despises Bono.

Happened to me too, was so pissed! I had long before that thought they were boring and insufferable. I always wondered if he wore those glasses even when he pooped. I’ll bet Satan’s eyes are behind those.

He's such a twat. He lost me in the 90s or so when he bought his castle, outsourced production of 'his' line of clothing- not to his fellow irish who could use the dosh- but to shops in Africa where conditions and pay don't have to be as nice. Then he became part owner of Forbes. I can't stand to listen to him anymore, he's a hypocritical shitestain who used the struggles of his working class countrymen to make himself wealthy beyond the GDP of many small countries.

We are so done, you and I. It's so sad.

Sad to see that Mick Jagger and Paul McCartney are clot shot boosters. I wonder what Ringo and Bob Dylan and Cat Stevens think? I think John Lennon might have had the sense to have been skeptical.

I hope he would have, too, but really impossible to know. Has Yoko spoken out? We can assume they would have been in lockstep, as usual. I am so happy that Clapton (an old hero) has recorded his disapproval, but it came at a cost - he suffered serious vax injuries. And Van Morrison has been wonderful from the first, has taken his rage and his message on the road.

Good NOT to trust most authority....some learn this early some never do. PTSD, trauma, some great challenges and people learn that early. John was a rebel. He was against the war machine. And quite

sure the powers that be assassinated him with some goofy guy. Can't be advocating Peace, not good for business.

Lennon was the dumbest of the bunch. Try listening to an interview of this guy where he talks about meaningful stuff. It's painfully naive and shallow.

Body doubles give notoriously bad interviews. Yoko never married John. She was the transexual witchy-wife (agent controller) in charge of controlling the body double that gave that interview. When it became clear that M-I5 could no longer control the double, they killed it in 1982. The real J. Lennon got killed in 1966 just like the real Paul. John's wife divorced him when she realized they had switched him with a body double. T. Adorno probably wrote Imagine and the other songs attributed to the J. Lennon double. George was the one true Beatle. He was a real song writer and musician. Yoko (the man witch) still gets royalties for the songs attributed to Lennon/McCartney. Faux Paul is the wealthiest musician in history, but actually he's just an agent...the money was the devil's all along.

This is copied from one of the audience reviews:

Wow. The film is so one-sided it almost comes off as a model on how to construct propaganda. But hold up a minute, film students and political science majors. The fawning adoration is really just too over the top for modern audiences to take seriously. On that level, the "documentary" almost crosses over into comedy/parody territory, like a Christopher Guest mockumentary (Best In Show, Waiting for Guffman). And then, about thirty minutes into the film, the reality of the situation begins to sink in. This is not some Mao-era propaganda film. Nor did it come out of North Korea. It was produced in America. By a major American network. The subject is one of the most senior members of American government. AND it got an 84% on Rotten Tomatoes. At this point I turned off the film and cried myself to sleep.
