Actually this is extremely frightening. They're coming for anyone who disagrees. They tried to do it via vax mandates, but now that those are falling apart...this.

I think what's going to have to happen after the election is a relentless series of Congressional hearings into the security state and the public health bureaucracy to reveal exactly what has been going on during Covid and particularly during this horrendous, inept administration. Being on the left, I know there are many other like me that will fully support any populists on the right who lead a pushback against this advancing corporate/government authoritarianism. Partisanship must be set aside to focus attention on the insidious lies and to protect our democratic and civil libertarian traditions from these attacks.

Am on the left (or... I think so. I'm pretty sure that I've stayed in the same place while my party has gone off the rails). In any case, I agree.

I’m on libertarian right and frankly I’ve been very concerned with how few on GOP have pushed back on what’s happening.

I counted 5 politicians that have lifted a finger.

I’ll never forget any of them.

And anyone that dares run for office for the next 50 years needs to answer why they were silent.

Expand full comment

Likewise here; libertarian right, more aptly described .... anarcho-capitalist. I can name the Republicans who are pushing back against not only the Democrats but against Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarty, and the RNC. They are Rand Paul, Thomas Massie, Marjorie Taylor Green, Louis Gohmert, Chip Roy, and Paul Gozar. Might be a precious few others that can be identified by cruising New American Magazine's "Freedom Index". Look for Index ratings 80% and above; those are the patriots. The average sitting republican rates between 30% to 60%, meaning that 40% to 70% of the time they vote against the principles of our Constitution.

Everyone seems to think that just because something is bad that it is going to end automatically “after the elections”. The Canadian truckers are showing what has to be done. Who is in your primaries? What questions are you asking them now when they need votes or are testing the waters? How about running yourself? School Boards and city assemblies affect your daily life more than any government. For the entire century we have had example after example of how this idea that someone else will take care of it does not work. Occupy WS and the Tea Party basically we’re saying the same thing...what happened to them? Joe Rogan isn’t even close to a “conservative” but many would “vote” for him. There IS a center but the Bernie boys and the Trumpets are going to have to find some common ground.

Recall how Trump wanted to clean out the trash and Ryan helped by ensuring no investigations? Trump wanted tax cuts for the middle and wanted to go after the hedge funds. His Congress ignored him producing cuts also for the wealthy and not touching those hedge funds. Trump caved to get half. In order for Trump to get his requested military boost, he had to cave on social spending to match.

Notice AOC doesn't ever back away, having little to lose. But she has Schumer dancing to her tune. Her team wants forever more and if allowed will continue to hurt those they profess to help.

How is this supposed to benefit "the crowd" when only the social media, algorithmically distilled, approved, "right crowd," is allowed to participate?

I would encourage everyone to not discuss, even in the abstract, violence. In normal times people can be (and deserve to be) arrested for making certain types of threats. Or if you wish to walk the razor's edge, at least find out what the limits of acceptable speech are. The USA has a long history of supporting individual rights -- oops, not all the time. You need look no further than the Civil War, World Wars I and II, and perhaps other epochs, to find examples where certain speech, oral or in writing, could get one fined, jailed or worse. In WW II it was "OK" to round up and intern legal aliens and citizens of certain ancestries since they might have been a threat during wartime. Suspensions of civil rights these were, alas they will probably be recalled in a future "emergency."

I agree, you do not know when or how your words may be taken out of context and used against you. I would be extremely careful about saying things online. That said, it is not so much the government that I am afraid of; rather it is vigilante groups and individuals who take things into their own hands. I do not like what I am seeing at the state and national level; however, I do not have to fear for my life and property. That was not the case during the Civil Rights movement of the 1960's where to speak up against the existing system of segregation and Jim Crow meant putting your life and those of your loved ones on the line. So far we have not witnessed a similar reign of terror--but it could very well come to that!

This is happening simultaneously all over the West right now.

Once is happenstance, two is coincidence, three is enemy action.

Our governements are the enemy of the people.

When in our history has there NOT been active propaganda, conspiracy theories and 'other forms of mis-dis-mal-information' aimed and undermining the publics trust in government? We now know that our education systems have for decades been nothing more than indoctrination centers - using our tax dollars.

Regardless, I would argue it's always been there. The difference is that the channels to spread these kinds of psy-ops are now far, far more effective in their reach, primarily and especially Facebook and Google. These top tech companies, and their oligarch's make make their money keeping the planet in fear as does the Federal Gov't- it's basically their business model at this point....and baby, business is booming.

They are unwilling to rid themselves of the infestation of bots and other state-run entities designed to do nothing but foment discontent and divide.

His earnings took a hit this past week, but it isn't a coincidence that Facebook and Google continue to enjoy historic profits at the same time humanity is as divided as at any point in history....it's just not a coincidence, folks.

Why should this alarm you…it’s the same inflammatory rhetoric that the government has been using to instill fear & scare people for the past two years and way before that…it’s just a variation with different verbiage and language that was conjured up right after 9/11 when the Patriot Act was crafted to start the slow acidic drip to take away our rights and freedoms. People need to wake up…while we were all sleeping this is where we were headed, & when we finally woke up… we were living in a nightmare of the making that we were not prepared for. This so called ‘Terrorism Bulletin’ is just a ‘set up’ for another ‘false flag operation’…this is their attempt to ‘tenderize’ us all to be ready for the next set up & pre-planned event.

By being alarmed or ‘frightened’ about what this lame document has to say, is what they want us to feel and shows how easily they can get us to ‘take the bait’!

You have a point; not everyone has discerned how corrupt their Government has become. Ask a liberal, do you trust Government? Do you trust the news? Many still do. It takes time for that trust to be diminished.

I think it is to set up for; if there is a "Truck Brandon" event, they have the leverage; see we knew this was going to happen! Then, boom they got another J6 ~ like the turtle said "Violent insurrection" Of course this plays into their hands if people fall for their trap.

We should be very wary of complacency here. The Federal government is not run by elected politicians or their directly appointed officials. Pfizer, et.al., OWNS the Federal government, the media and the entire medical-industrial complex. Knowing this, it becomes painfully apparent that Pharma is using its puppets in the government to try to destroy anyone and any institution who is telling the truth about their poisonous injections. And, given the immense power and reach of the government, we should be very wary of any attempts to use officials government institutions, which they fully control, to hunt down and destroy dissenters from the official narrative, a narrative constructed wholly by Pharma and their media sycophants. Now is the time for hyper-vigilance, not for complacency.

All governments are merely a tool to serve the People.

Our Founding Fathers warned US about government tyranny:

“Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.” -- George Washington

“Experience hath shown, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.” -- Thomas Jefferson

"The essence of Government is power; and power, lodged as it must be in human hands, will ever be liable to abuse." -- James Madison

Re Tow Company Boycott Ottawa:

I have spoken with the owners of the two companies who were willing to tow rigs out of the protest and they have been bombarded with hundreds of phone calls from angry protest supporters. They have been receiving death threats (all from blocked numbers).

I have informed them of my intention to create a web presence with SEO ensuring that all towing companies that support totalitarian governments by shifting protester vehicles will be placed on the list. And this site will for all time rank highly on key search terms e.g. Ottawa Towing Companies.

Both companies indicate that they will NOT shift rigs and that they support the trucker protest in Ottawa.

I am getting ahead of the curve contacting towing companies in the Wellington NZ area as they have a trucker protest getting underway there.

I have only encountered one owner who does not appear to 'get it'... He is accusing me of threatening him - I have informed him that I am not threatening -- if he believes it is a good idea to tow rigs out of the protest then he can go ahead -- however I will ensure that the people of NZ (as well as protest social media sites in Ottawa) are aware of what he is doing -- and if his phone lines get tied up with thousand of calls because of that then he'll know why.

He was rather pissed and spewed a bit of vitriol before hanging up. I called a few times and informed him and whoever else picked up the phone (single line) that this is just a taste of what might happen. Just so he understands the implications.

I recommend that anyone who supports the NZ Convoy contact Thurston Towing in Wellington and give them more than a taste of what they can expect +644 568 2192 Just let them know that you'd be very disappointed to find out they are shifting the rigs.

Best to use Skype or a blocked number so they cannot return the calls.

There is no mis, dis, or mal information. There is just information. Right or wrong - it’s still just information. How do we know if it’s right or wrong? By letting everyone press their case in clear view of the public. Let all the debates proceed in the marketplace of ideas. But yet, that’s not what’s happening is it. Any information deemed to be mis, dis, or mal is not allowed to be voiced. We, my friends, are in big trouble here.
