I think you spelled it wrong -- she's still there.

No, her account is still there. But I don't get it. She has only 866 followers but her tweets get a shitload of likes. I'm thinking Twitter likes to reward those who spread misinformation that favors the mainstream narratives.

You must have been reading my tweets but I made the same mistake. Brendan Eich had a misspelling in his tweet that made me have the same exact though.

A lot of people get paid to spread bullshit. The promoted amplification of false information, the process, is the greater threat. It’s corporate, monied privilege that is destroying this country.

Or they had frequent flyer miles about to expire.

Is this a surge of the unvaccinated like Governor Pritzker says? (I am tired of the posts that say the vaccine is about loving your neighbor. Sure seems now it’s about the opposite since the vaxxed can be super spreaders.)

I don't think we can determine that here in the US, as data doesn't seem forthcoming. CDC is only just owning up to the existence of breakthrough infections. But England's health service released data on delta showing a really substantial % of cases in vaccinated persons, and well over half of deaths also in vaccinated. And there's Israel, too. Here, there seem to be an awful lot of anecdotal reports of vaccinated people with symptomatic COVID, some pretty severe, despite continuing media claims that 99% of hospitalized are unvaccinated. Just heard a report that Jesse Jackson and his wife are now hospitalized with COVID, the wife in ICU. Both vaccinated. I think this is becoming widespread in the US, too, but is being hidden.

Can you even put someone who's bad enough to require ICU on plane? Won't that kill em?

they lose money at <85%!

while many of the c19 icu (general med surg, too) patients are there with +pcr, not bc covid.

a friend is in rehab, a pt on floor tested positive, therefore the pt is in rehab for c19..... oh...

Cheryl Palen's avatar

and that was a false positive no doubt!

I’m in Utah. We’ve got open icu beds. That person is full of crap!

Same with Montana, right next door.

I live in Montana. We have beds open.

Too bad that not one journalist seems to have discovered this fact-checking government website.

Tigerkatze, you’re just now wondering? At this point I wonder if anything is genuine.

Tigerkatze's avatar

I’m coming to that conclusion as well. And poor moi is stuck in San Francisco. It’s a looney bin.

Tigerkatze's avatar

With this obvious misinformation I’m starting to wonder if folks are paid to spread such nonsense to keep fear levels high?

el gato malo's avatar

alas, i fear there is no need to even bother hiring such shills.

far too many people are happy to do it for free just to get a little attention.

Don't worry, gatito. All those people who liked and retweeted it won't feel bad, because humans believe the first thing they're told.

Boriquagato has been consistently wrong on COVID from day 0, so he's resorted to grifting via picking random tweets to get angry about. Don't fall for this boring huckster, its rage bait

dshazarddingo's avatar

what has he been wrong on?

totisviribus@protonmail.com's avatar

Actually, there is one mild-mannered reporter who did discover it but his colleagues put a kryptonite bracelet on his ankle.
