British media somehow found the resources to report on the news that people attended a nightclub. Asking for a friend, where was said media during the anti-lockdown protests over the last several weeks?

Ding Dong reminds me of Lord Haw Haw or Tokyo Rose (or maybe Baghdad Bob)… I’m not claiming that he is, but he certainly acts and writes like a propagandist working for a hostile foreign government.

Perfect example of sunk cost fallacy at work. Don’t know if Wing Ding is doubling or tripling down at this point but if you believe that politicians, unelected public health officials and self-professed “experts” had/have good intentions (I don’t BTW), we are witnessing daily examples of sunk cost fallacy on steroids. Do the vaccines work or not? With close to 80% of UK adults vaccinated, I think we have our answer.

You know that saying which states if you reach the stage where you start ad hoc attacks, name calling etc, that you've lost an argument? Well, there is no argument here. Am not trying to convince anybody of anything. Eric is nothing but a dangerous, illogical, narcissistic, and so often wrong c@nt.

Gato, what would say to all of the idiots who are demanding that unless a certain % get vaccinated that the virus will keep mutating and causing death? They keep insisting that if person B doesn't get vaccinated, that person A (despite being vaccinated) will somehow suffer.

Great post as usual Gato! However, what's the deal with all of the news articles coming out today which cite a "massive" increase in cov2 hospitalizations vs same time last year? How do you gather they're getting away with citing this? https://www.wral.com/coronavirus/editorial-a-covid-vaccination-shows-concern-and-care-for-our-communities-do-it-now/19778441/

that article does not seem to cite a rise vs a year ago and i have seen no data that would seem to support such a claim on any broad based basis.

US total is 20.5 vs 40.0 last year on same day, so it's down by a full 50% yoy.

https://ourworldindata.org/explorers/coronavirus-data-explorer?zoomToSelection=true&time=2020-03-01..latest&pickerSort=desc&pickerMetric=total_cases&Metric=Hospital+patients&Interval=7-day+rolling+average&Relative+to+Population=false&Align+outbreaks=false&country=~USA

this is just seasonal rise, esp for southern states.

it's also inflated by far more hospitals being open for electives and thus catching trace covid and nosocomial infection.

there seems to be a fair bit of what looks like "making up data" going on at the moment as well as the shell game of "call it seasonal pandemic in the lockdown states and "behavior" for southern seasonality if it makes florida and TX look bad.

same shabby tricks as last year.

idk..... uk data on delta variant which is too straight forward for a nutritionist whom the media anointed as an expert in a science too hard for fat denying....... is directly opposed to his scary words.

delta in uk is slightly more secondary infection, but between 1/10 and 1/17 the mortality, which is good and if holds in ther demographics the nutritionist will have to go back to selling keto....

Is he serious? They have 88% vax coverage according to https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/ which I believe is better than most of the USA and probably equal or better than childhood vax coverage. And do compare the "cases" versus deaths and hospitalizations - this looks better than the seasonal flu! So the vax works, new treatments can also work, so we need to move on.

I just watched a recent interview with Peter McCullough -https://jermwarfare.com/blog/peter-mccullough - highly recommended, non- hysterical, solid evidence based. He said the vaccines are failing against the delta variant. Mutations are occurring in the area of the spike where GOF changes were made, Mother Nature's way of getting back to a more natural, less virulent form. That is good. But widespread vaccination while prevalence is high, is forcing more variants, fortunately so far not worse than original. If a more virulent strain comes along, we're in trouble. He believes the world would be a lot better off without the vaccines, as do A large number of clinicians. He also discusses vaccine injuries, and the importance of prompt, early treatment for the higher trial population. Just very good information.
