I can't think of any legit reason that anyone would want one, although apparently they're quite popular. Even military rifles have gone to three-shot bursts, because full auto just blows through huge amounts of ammo and leads to bad fire discipline, besides which blowing through entire mags just ends up warping barrels and screwing them up.
