kitten corner: making the difference
questions on journalistic intent
i am just a kitten, so please forgive me is this is an obvious question to which most people know the answer and i do not but:
is this some sort of really dry sarcasm or just an astonishing lack of self-awareness?
Here is the scenario:
A Friend on facebook posted they are now six moderna boosters in.
I said, I had Covid twice in 2020...am a product of natural infection and thus have no need of boosters.
Another friend posted that I should rethink that, get the booster because there are 30 variants out there and one of them could go around my natural immunity.
They also stated that they got the booster and just got Covid last month. And that's why I should get the booster.
So essentially it is : "You should get the boosters because they work....I should know because I got the booster and got Covid anyhow."
These words...I do not think they mean what you think they mean.
