A Friend on facebook posted they are now six moderna boosters in.
I said, I had Covid twice in 2020...am a product of natural infection and thus have no need of boosters.
Another friend posted that I should rethink that, get the booster because there are 30 variants out there and one of them could go around my natural immunity.
They also stated that they got the booster and just got Covid last month. And that's why I should get the booster.
So essentially it is : "You should get the boosters because they work....I should know because I got the booster and got Covid anyhow."
The folks I know who are lining up for their 7th shot now say they are doing it to avoid Long Covid. They realize that covid is now just a cold but they have been brainwashed to believe that most people get long covid.
You have to admit, the whole "long covid" angle was brilliant. It was the perfect way to make what was a minor illness for most into something to be feared for its long term effects. It was perfect, too perfect, because when they were talking non-stop about long covid you couldn't find anyone who actually experienced it.
first, two of the main symptoms "brain fog and fatigue" can be symptoms of many other diseases.
Second, it also explains away vaccine injuries. They can even say things like "well it's not the vaccine, it's Long Covid.
I don't doubt that Long covid exists, just as their are post viral syndromes for a variety of viruses. The fact that they are calling it "Long Covid" though is what gets me. They keep trying to elevate this disease into the plague.
I think some people also actually had post viral syndrome in regards to Covid...the problem is that everything Covid is exaggerated which sadly comes down to people eventually recording their audio of cold symptoms.
This is true, however, had they followed the protocols for treatment, as outlined by Dr. Zelenko or Frontline Doctors, for example, they could have avoided long covid.
It's brilliant because it's not falsifiable. My favorite long Covid study was the one that showed that people who believed they had Covid reported many more symptoms of long Covid vs. people who had actual lab confirmed cases of Covid. It turns out that you don't even need Covid to have long Covid.
and if you DID hear of someone who said they DO have LC, they can't tell you when they actually HAD covid to produce the LONG COVID. Good way to stay off work though and I bet jillions will try and collect disability also...symptoms? ANYTHING YOU WANT!
Chances are they will suffer from any of the 200 symptoms listed for Long Covid. At this point it might as well be called "Long Life Syndrome." And again, I think there is a psychological element to being inundated with propaganda, it slows down your thinking because the mind is doing gymanstical internal forward and backward rolls to make the logic try to make sense.
The person on my Facebook feed who said they got the sixth Moderna booster said or implied they got it because Dolly Parton did.
Indeed. I mean they are literally saying they got the vaccine due to an advertising strategy. I wear Aqua Velva because of Joe Namath, Drink a Coke because of Mean Joe Green, and now I take a vaccine because of Dolly Parton?
What is the practical difference between “long Covid” and “I will get boosters every 6-12 months for the rest of my life, even though I don’t know/won’t look at, the long-term effects of those jabs”? They both sound like “long Covid” to me.
I get that there are probably clinical hallmarks that distinguish “long Covid”. My point is that taking on unknown long-term consequences to possibly avoid unknown long-term consequences makes no sense. You MIGHT get “long-Covid” either way, but you would CERTAINLY have immune effects of injecting the vaccines if you take them. I see it as irrational to choose probable/likely long-term problems to avoid possible ones, in the context of an experimental drug that was not studied adequately before being approved, which went against prior protocol. But of course, hindsight is 20-20 and time will tell. Either way is a gamble and that’s the truth. I’m grateful to be a child of the good God who holds my days.
I think there is physical long covid which is a real condition that is rare and theoretically possible following any viral infection, and psychological long covid which continues to inflict a significant number of the population! Group 2 will probably boost until death. (And it's entirely possible that death will be hastened by the continued injection of mRNA.)
They would. That is my fear. What if they suddenly say we all need to wear masks again? And they are showing us continually that their regulations are not based on rational thought. Why mandate something that doesn't sterilize a disease? Why mandate something that is mild?
Logic would prove out. If something was dangerous enough, we would do everything we could do to prevent it. You don't need to mandate "not playing in traffic." When it rains you don't have to mandate "carry an umbrella."
Poor Bambi should've worn two masks and we wouldn't have to worry about apocalyptic zombie - human flesh eating - covid infected deer attacking us like vampires with hemophilia
I think there was a period we really didn't understand enough, and had other considerations.
In my case, I was caring for my mother, including many years prior to covid, and she had COPD and had underwent treatment for stage IV lung cancer. So I was closely monitoring everything from the beginning. I don't necessarily regret my actions during the learning process, as there was a lot and I changed my actions accordingly. It was continuing to wear the masks (outside of hospital settings), until in area we slowly started to ignore it, and went unchallenged in stores. Many rushed in and out, I who shopped minimum but bought large orders, took my time and walked around for usually an hour and the reactions were interesting, as many still choosing to wear them (of which many were older), were still cordial and polite. It was the younger people who looked disgusted, shook their heads, or were willing to speak out.
In my case, I knew better. I was a recent amputee and needed to take Uber rides to doctors offices in order to get authorization to get a prosthetic leg. My price was mobility. I kept the same nasty smelly surgical mask handed to me the first time I was told to wear one. On my last trip to the doctors office before switching doctors to undecided, I did not wear one. In the waiting room they said nothing to me. When I was invited back to the offices proper it was right after lunch, and I saw the doctors putting their masks back on and a few nurses didn't have any on either. I smiled at the nurses not wearing them and watched as my doctor backed into her office unmasked.
Medical theater.
Once in the examination room, the doctor told me to wear my mask. I said that mine had been soiled. So she went and had to find one for me to wear.
Dr. Ana Maria Mihalcea has discovered that animals, both wild and domestic, have been infected with the same technology (hydrogel filaments, micro bots and/or Quantum dot technology) as humans.
The odd way this stacks, I can't always tell if the comment is to me or Ryan. If to me, I believe the articles (multiple) that state deer populations (in Nebraska, or Iowa, and I believe Pennsylvania) were tested and found to carry the virus.
There is a long article in Nature, from mid-2022, which is paywalled. Article from NPR, in March 2022,discussing the Pennsylvania deer. The 93 deer tested were dead from auto accidents (a common occurrence in PA where I live). They DID NOT die of covid, but died WITH covid. Article claims a positivity rate of 20%,. Eight samples had their genomes sequenced, identifying multiple circulating variants. Claimed to find the Alpha variant in several. The article is lengthy, and discusses a larger Canadian study. It is alarmist, stating "I can't think of a single zoonotic disease ...established in an animal reservoir that we have been successful at eradicating". The article is dated March 9, 2022 and is on npr.org (sorry I can't copy and drag url's). Just Google deer test positive for covid, and behold the multitude.
I have family close to me that have had injections as well, and they would report with regularity their being under the weather. I've talked to them about th vaccine and why I refused it, so they know.
And those of us who did not take the booster and still live...well maybe we are like Keith Richards who has been dead for ten years, just he doesn't want to hear about it.
I am glad he is...not posting, just glad he is alive. He is an amputee who survived a genetic condition wherein he was completely healthy except for a heart defect and suffered an attack while working out that should have killed him. The medicine they gave him was something that forced a lot of blood to his heart and from his extremeties and thus lost a leg, and some fingers in the bargain. He has a prosthetic, lives an active life, and I think part of the reason he trusts in the system is that his life was probably saved in his case through modern medicine. He doesn't realize that the independent thinking and giving a s is not part of the current system the way it is headed.
"To know and not to know, to be conscious of complete truthfulness while telling carefully constructed lies, to hold simultaneously two opinions which cancelled out, knowing them to be contradictory and believing in both of them, to use logic against logic, to repudiate morality while laying claim to it, to believe that democracy was impossible and that the Party was the guardian of democracy, to forget whatever it was necessary to forget, then to draw it back into memory again at the moment when it was needed, and then promptly to forget it again, and above all, to apply the same process to the process itself—that was the ultimate subtlety: consciously to induce unconsciousness, and then, once again, to become unconscious of the act of hypnosis you had just performed. Even to understand the word—doublethink—involved the use of doublethink."
Today I get a magazine from one of the local hospital groups. One the cover is a smiling youngish man, the caption basically reads, "Only 24- but our cardiac department saved him!" I'm rolling my eyeballs so much I can't even get up my driveway. They are normalizing this so much and the normies are never going to think about it because the local hospital rag says this happens all the time. How valiant of them to altruistically save so many people!
Dear gatito bueno, you deserve a nice big fish! I am just a transcriber, so forgive me if this is an obvious observation, but it seems to me that these people you quote, they must be living in that place with Chesire Cat.
elephamation: information that is in the room, but many refuse to see it. hell, it’s not only in the room, it’s glaringly obvious to anyone who’s using their senses
Reminds me when I was at a restaurant where they were requiring masks...and after I said I didn't have a mask, they offered me there mask for the duration I would need it.
I had something similar happen to me at a job interview about 18 months ago. Just about all businesses had canned the mask thing, but I go to interview at this bakery (I was desperate, gods know) and the woman meets me at the door. We talk a moment, she asks if I want to see the place and of course I say 'yes'. She then asks me if I have a shot:
"Uh..."
"If you don't have a shot you need a mask." and she whips one out of her pocket- she comes prepared, I'll give her that.
I just literally backed away slowly to my car, "Um, I can tell this isn't going to work out, I'm sorry to have wasted your time..."
And she is just staring at me like I grew 3 heads and how dare I turn down an interview in this job market, that stupid fake medical plastic abomination of a mask still danging from her fingers...
I should hot key the response "thats because masks don't work against respiratory viruses" You have to say "respiratory viruses" or they will talk about how people wear masks for all sorts of reasons that do perform a function.
It sounds like one of those "invasion of the body snatchers" moments.
I think I will probably look back at this time in wonder and ask myself was it worth it explaining to people multiple times why masks are used in an operating theater and why masks aren't like seat belts.
Oh god, if she had Reeeeee'd at me I would have lost it. As it was, I was shaking. I have never in my working career backed out of an interview nor have I ever not given it my all while there. It was the weirdest thing and I actually felt guilty for awhile. However, I got a job that has never asked me to do those things so it all worked out.
And yeah, I'm tired of explaining too. At this point I just ignore maskers like I ignore men in women's clothes. They are crazy, do not touch...
Maybe we should all just start doing shorthand and start singing the Monty Python "Lumberjack" song.
In fact Monty Python has a great skit about a man viewing himself as a woman. They also has some good skits about people doing ridiculous things to accomodate others. The one I am thinking of involved someone who freaked out anytime the word "mattress" was said by others and what was required to have him return to acting "normally."
Oh I remember the mattress sketch. :D I never thought of it in terms of todays newspeak, in particular, nouns, but now I've seen it I will never unsee.
Python was one of my secret 'things' as was Saturday Night Live which was in it's original incarnation at the time. My parents disapproved so it became Ninja style to wait until the parents went to bed, then sneak out to watch that stuff late night. The 'rents camped just above the family room. It wasn't too hard to keep the TV down low, it was the shrieks of laughter that would give my sister and I away. Between that and the first couple of years of HBO, it was not altogether a deprived childhood.
PS. those late nights also gave me a taste for old horror movies, LOL.
when i refused to mask in the er they sent the security guard to have a little chat with me. there as i was to have a broken arm treated, i surrendered. fyi the treatment team was mostly unmasked. follow-up appt in orthopedics a week later nobody masked.
Last time I was in ER (I accidentally swallowed a matchstick that had migrated to my drinking glass, LOL) I kept getting yelled at by security to put my mask up on my face. Meanwhile there was this older lady who spoke little english trying to get people to help her translate texts from her doctor. She shows me the phone..."It says Immerse, what does immerse mean? Do I have water in my hand?" She held up a hand, purple and twice it's size and I thought 'MRSA, she has MRSA and they are letting her roam freely and touch everything and these bastards won't let me slip my mask to breathe. Great going idiots..."
In the midst of covid, when my husband was in his final illness, I noticed that once you got past the gatekeepers, the staff were pretty casual about masking. I'm sorry to hear you broke your arm, I'm glad that once you got to actual treatment they were not assholes about it.
The times where I had to go somewhere and wear a mask, I just kept it under my nose. Only once or twice was I asked to cover my nose. So that tells you how much the "science" meant to the employees at the "essential" businesses.
That's what I finally started doing once most places did away with the masks, except "health" businesses. I think I can do it everywhere now or stand up and say no to masks.
If it had been something other than a job interview, I might have given in. But I knew right then and there this shit wasn't going to end- I was leaving a job where the bosses were against masking but still believed in the shot and there was always this subtle pressure like, "When are you going to do that, eh?". I could see right there the job was one I would not take and if I did I would be miserable. Besides, I hadn't gone back to school for 2 years just to wind up baking again. I knew I could find something else. I was very nervous though in doing it and this is a small town, if word got around, I might find it hard if I had to fall back on that again.
Hey, I just traded a bunch of chicken parts from my last culling to one of the guys at work who crabs. Yesterday, he brought me 3 crabs and said that he was amazed at how many he caught, seems crabs like chicken heads, LOL. Yeah, it's a good job when you get free seafood from time to time. The crabs will become crab stuffed mushrooms I'm gonna share with my fam tonight. Spread the abundance!
How astonishing to actually offer you the mask that they were already using, like that's sanitary, and actually believe they were doing a good thing. shaking head
I wonder where many of those peoples minds are now, especially since the figures are so low for those having taken the new jab.
According to a post from Dr. Alexander, Reuters says not too many so far, but it's still early in the season but will be interesting to see how it plays out. Heck will pathogens be released on the public in specific locations, or brought in from countries with US linked labs? Will they be so bold this time around? Time will tell.
REUTERS is reporting that only 4 million Americans (1.3%) got the updated COVID booster (XBB.1.5) vaccines in September 2023.
I bet many of those who got it are college age as this is still a requirement on some college campuses. Also there is uptake in those who work in government. It is good to hear that the number is low, but is it because the boosters are no longer "free?" and yes, as the weather turns colder, will there be those who will succumb to fear and go and get the booster to satisfy their "safety" minded compulsions?
Yes, the brainwashing starts early in schools all the way on up. I think many of the college students have changed course on it, but are stuck in a quagmire on continuing their education.
The work situation was brutal for many, having to choose between paying bills and feeding their family, or take a chance on losing everything. Many still have no resolution for making their choice, and of course many have died.
Sadly, I believe they will as the fear mongering will increase. Many only get their information from MSM sources, and still trust the so called trusted sources.
What is funny is if you read the definition of Dunning Kruger, it is an effect where the person overestimate their competence to think and discuss subjects they know little about. I know that I am not an epidemiologist, but I can tell you that I am smarter than the average politician. I can also tell you that never once did I mandate or demand people do something that was untested, or unprecedented. So the onus is on them to prove THEY aren't suffering from Dunning Kruger, because then there are just a burn victim in a boiler room wearing Ernie's sweater from Sesame Street.
One thing I recall from a retired professor at university is this:
"Dare to be wrong, young ones! Dare to be wrong, otherwise you'll never learn anything but what you already think you know!"
The man was awe-inspiring. First time he guest-lectured, he led with "Well, I'll not mince words with you. I'm retired so I can speak my mind freely."
We had the entire Dunning-Kruger report on our reading list in a psychology course that was appendixed onto the main Sociology base year. It remains highly contentious to this day, yet empirical observation seem to bear it out.
Then again, I've heard a politician ask why we don't put propellers all over the outside of cars so the car's batteries can be charged by "the wind that always blows while you're driving". The man was close to 60, educated, life-long career as a politician and it wasn't a brainfart: he really couldn't understand what the problem with his idea was.
That reminds me of one of our Georgia politicians asserting that Guam would tip over because of all the extra population that comes with a military base. and there was the Ted Stevens idea that the internet was a series of tubes.
I don't insert Dunning-Kruger into arguments because it is a dressed up highfalutin way to call someone stupid or ignorant. My assumption though is that they have been subjected to hours upon hours of propaganda and thus are fully immersed in a narrative.
My husband quit getting the NYT (too expensive) but I sent the article to print preview before the firewall garbage popped up.
Leonhardt appears to have written this stupid thing to try to get the people who never got vaxed to get the crappy thing. Even most of the people who did get it don't want the new "booster". This won't help. Nor will the new Pfizer commercials explaining how the "booster" is new.
Wasn't Leonhardt one of the less idiotic Times reporters on Covid? He's jumped into the idiot pool with both feet with this article. He's claiming that getting vaccinated is the most important thing that people can do. He still claims to believe in the other garbage too but he admits that people aren't willing to go along with it....at least not for now. Not ever, bozo.
Somebody asked about the date of the article. It's from last year so I really have to reevaluate my opinion of the current state of the NY Times:
Here is the scenario:
A Friend on facebook posted they are now six moderna boosters in.
I said, I had Covid twice in 2020...am a product of natural infection and thus have no need of boosters.
Another friend posted that I should rethink that, get the booster because there are 30 variants out there and one of them could go around my natural immunity.

Brain fog and fatigue are also symptoms of life in general! So anyone can claim to have Long Covid! Perfect.
Yeah. Exactly! I could swear my wife and me had Looooong Covid for 5 years after my twins were born 12 years ago.
I've had long covid since I got married. 😉😊😋
Brain fog and fatigue are also symptoms of being dehydrated, which is VERY common.
Nobody wants to hear that though...they want to make everything into a syndrome.
The oddest part of all of it though is someone saying "If you think you have long covid, you have long covid.
Supply and demand. Medical industrial complex cashes in.
Long Covid = side effect of the shots. Your second supposition is the correct answer!
I think some people also actually had post viral syndrome in regards to Covid...the problem is that everything Covid is exaggerated which sadly comes down to people eventually recording their audio of cold symptoms.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie (2 Thessalonians 2:11)
This is true, however, had they followed the protocols for treatment, as outlined by Dr. Zelenko or Frontline Doctors, for example, they could have avoided long covid.
No Jimmy, it's mostly long vaxx. Sickening but true.
Yep.

'long covid' is primarily vaccine injury.
Long Vaccine
I woke up with allergies this morning. Or was it long covid?
An unpopular view - or was it the toxins spewing down from the geoengineering in the skies? Or maybe all three.
and if you DID hear of someone who said they DO have LC, they can't tell you when they actually HAD covid to produce the LONG COVID. Good way to stay off work though and I bet jillions will try and collect disability also...symptoms? ANYTHING YOU WANT!
Long covid equals shot injured

DOLLY PARTON: [singing to the tune of her song "Joleen"] Vaccine, vaccine, vaccine, vaccine
I'm begging of you please don't hesitate
Vaccine, vaccine, vaccine, vaccine
because once you're dead then that's a bit too late
[END]
Well, people who take health advice from celebrities pretty much deserve what they get.
Indeed. I mean they are literally saying they got the vaccine due to an advertising strategy. I wear Aqua Velva because of Joe Namath, Drink a Coke because of Mean Joe Green, and now I take a vaccine because of Dolly Parton?
I got chills. Sad, sad chills.
Loved her until this post
It's very sad. So very few in the entertainment industry seem to have been able to escape the clutches of this madness.
This seems so unlike Polly Darton- err Polly Dar-, Dally Par- Dolly Parton.
She's been getting shots, nips, tucks, and injections for years, I imagine for big pharma she is a prime candidate.

Long Covid is jab side effects

Just friggin nuts!
This is the real head scratcher:
Imagine if you will that 90% of civilized world's population would not see the comedy or tragedy in the inanity of this headline.
And then imagine that 80% of that 90% would do it all over again because they were told to by the gooberment.
There's a reason we have 2A...it ain't in case the deer turn against us!
It's because 80% of the people would willingly be animals in the States zoo AGAIN!!
They would. That is my fear. What if they suddenly say we all need to wear masks again? And they are showing us continually that their regulations are not based on rational thought. Why mandate something that doesn't sterilize a disease? Why mandate something that is mild?
It’s mandated because it was never about the disease.
Logic would prove out. If something was dangerous enough, we would do everything we could do to prevent it. You don't need to mandate "not playing in traffic." When it rains you don't have to mandate "carry an umbrella."
Remember:
Yes, but they haven't made a big difference. : )
They are to "reach" for. The people have been crate trained.
The deer have covid, or at least carry the virus.
Poor Bambi should've worn two masks and we wouldn't have to worry about apocalyptic zombie - human flesh eating - covid infected deer attacking us like vampires with hemophilia
I do have regrets over the last three years. But they are the times I did mask, and the times I should have said something.
You did your best brother...more than 99.5%.
The real threat imo is if they keep coming back people will totally forget why they're wearing them.
You seem to be implying that people may have known why they put the silly things on. Not sure that was ever the case.
They are extremely useful while participating in pro-Palestinian demonstrations.

"covid infected deer attacking us like vampires with hemophilia"
Way to go RG - the whole plotline for a great TV series!
Wonder who we could get to play the lead?
Could the savage beasts kick the lead in the soft parts for eternity?
If so, Fauci
That's who my wife suggested.
She just said, "Great minds think alike!"
You just won comment of the day, from me. That's the best!
Dr. Ana Maria Mihalcea has discovered that animals, both wild and domestic, have been infected with the same technology (hydrogel filaments, micro bots and/or Quantum dot technology) as humans.
So is it coming from the air? the skies? the high altitude "crop dusters"?
Chem trails that affect everything and now they’re discovering it in dental anesthetics.
I had not heard this. Thanks.
and what about pets? dogs, kitties? and mine are always licking haha
No idea. Not worried, either.
Allegedly.
The odd way this stacks, I can't always tell if the comment is to me or Ryan. If to me, I believe the articles (multiple) that state deer populations (in Nebraska, or Iowa, and I believe Pennsylvania) were tested and found to carry the virus.
This is true
So does that mean the tests are actually for your garden variety coronavirus? Nothing specific about them?
There is a long article in Nature, from mid-2022, which is paywalled. Article from NPR, in March 2022,discussing the Pennsylvania deer. Uncle Jimbo
Lolol
that is so FUNNNNY.
These people have no brains. My sister has had 5 or 6 boosters now.
She is always sick.
This is sad.
I have family close to me that have had injections as well, and they would report with regularity their being under the weather. I've talked to them about th vaccine and why I refused it, so they know.
Boosters will do hat to ya.
You can’t help stupid.
No, but you can sure make fun of it, cuz there’s nothing they hate more than being made fun of!
Which. is fun, in and of itself, for us.
Bout time we can enjoy this 🤡🌎
You also can't cure it. 🤣
Yes, the brilliance of their logic is astounding, isn't it?
They think the boosters worked bc they didn't die but mostly because they're hella embarrassed that they took any shot at all.
And those of us who did not take the booster and still live...well maybe we are like Keith Richards who has been dead for ten years, just he doesn't want to hear about it.
Keif should sell his blood--drink it and you survive anything and get high
it's also affecting their ability to think obviously...yikes
Our World is full of IDIOTS...and evil people who easily take advantage of the Idiot’s gullibility.
6 moderna.??? Surprised he is still posting
They gave him vasopressin. It's so hard when people we love will not trust us
His logic is interesting indeed.
These words...I do not think they mean what you think they mean.
This should be the highest ranking comment.
Doublethink 101:
Pathologizing normal and normalizing pathology.
🎯
I think I glossed over that part when I read it too young and free
Pissing in the ocean to raise the sea level will also work, but not make a big difference.
And I suspect that the damaging side effects of the various "COVID mitigations" have been far worse than those of a discharge of urine.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This has got to one of the dumbest timelines in the multiverse.
We're only responding to customer feedback!
😂🤣😂🤣 Thanks fir the laughs, Sim Com. You guys have cheered me up tonight!
I keep waiting for them to reset the matrix on this one, or at least give us a security update.
How valiant of them to altruistically save so many people!
little did i know that playing mad libs as a kid was equivalent to an MA in journalism.
Dear gatito bueno, you deserve a nice big fish! I am just a transcriber, so forgive me if this is an obvious observation, but it seems to me that these people you quote, they must be living in that place with Chesire Cat.
They work because the 'experts' want to be able to do all the stuff they did to you during covid....
Has anybody read the fine print on the package of masks that say they DON'T stop viruses?
Asking for a friend.
Yup, I brought that up at the VA. I even brought in the package. It was not well received
Yeah. The VA does NOT have a sense of humor....or of fairness and truth.
You know it
Well, I hope they'll welcome the truth, rather than the narrative.
Only if the truth keeps them funded
Hmm... yes, there's that. What happened to wanting the truth on principle?
I wish I knew. : (
Applauding
MALINFORMATION! (True but inconvenient)
elephamation: information that is in the room, but many refuse to see it. hell, it’s not only in the room, it’s glaringly obvious to anyone who’s using their senses
Love it!
Yes. I saw that very early on. Asked a pharmacist, and he just shrugged his shoulders.
Yes. All a matter of how you define 'work.' Worked for them...
I try to explain that to people who say government is broken. It's not broken, it's working really, really well -- just not for us.
The Constitution was created to make sure Government stayed as broken as possible.
I saw a video of Fauci admitting masks didn't work on a large scale, but worked for the individual.
Not macro, but Micro.
I thought "WTF?"
He must be counting on the lack off teaching critical thinking skills to the masses, because his "Dr. Scienci" statement makes absolutely no sense.
Total lack of awareness - not so astonishing.
I was truly out of there like a bat out of hell.
I have used that line as well. It is rather freeing. “This isn’t going to work. “
I should hot key the response "thats because masks don't work against respiratory viruses" You have to say "respiratory viruses" or they will talk about how people wear masks for all sorts of reasons that do perform a function.
Agreed but they don’t work for most of those reason as well except keeping spit out of someone’s face; I think
The one I am thinking of involved someone who freaked out anytime the word "mattress" was said by others and what was required to have him return to acting "normally."

https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6qglfb
Replace mattress with "Covid." and pretty soon we will all be standing in tea chests.
Stan/Loretta from Life of Brian.
“I want to have babies.”
“You ‘aven’t got a womb! Where’s it going to gestate?”
Cleese was recently admonished to remove that scene from an upcoming production. Heartily declined.
At this point I just ignore maskers like I ignore men in women's clothes. They are crazy, do not touch...
Perfect !
Congrats on having the balls to do that! I'm too lame to stand up to very many people.....but I'm working on it. 😏
you can choose a different path at any time. you need no one’s permission to stand up. see yourself as a warrior, and you are one!
I still admire your guts. I'm very happy that you got a good job that you seem to enjoy.
Makes me think of "Invasion of the bodysnatchers", 1978 version.
Or "They Live" from 1988.
Both are great movies. And damn prescient.
bravo!!!
Well, did you?
How astonishing to actually offer you the mask that they were already using, like that's sanitary, and actually believe they were doing a good thing. shaking head
Exactly. I remember making a voice of frustration and gesturing as if saying "This! This is exactly what is so effed up about all of this."
War is peace.
Freedom is slavery.
Ignorance is strength.
Covid vaccines protect you.
And Grandma.
Masks stop transmission.
Anyone have the website for the Giant Asteroid's 2024 campaign? I'd like to make a contribution.
Will a Giant Meteor work?
https://www.amazon.com/American-Vinyl-Already-Democrat-Republican/dp/B07FZF6JTX
That'll work too...
Personally, I am voting for Cthulu. Why vote for the lesser evil?
I am writing in Alfred E. Neuman for President as a requirement of my reduced MAD magazine subscription discount from the 1970's.
👏👏👏👏👍
Next question - will most NYT readers be able to identify the cognitive dissonance?
Are there still any NYT readers?
I honestly think they're relying on attrition! Because they'll probably die sooner than most folks.
While they may not identify it, they will tell you you suffer from it if you dissent, along with Dunning Krueger.
Given how they've acted the past few years (from what I've read from various americans), shouldn't it be Freddy Krueger-syndrome instead?
As in they are nightmarish horrors out to get you, out of spite.

No
There must be. WaPo announced buyouts (to avoid layoffs) and financial press estimating a $100 million loss this year. And they still have readers.
Option number 3: it's all the fault of the Bad People.
Those damned Kulaks and wreckers! Without them, we'd be living in Utopia!!
It's Do Covid Precautions Work?
Yes, but they haven’t made a big difference.
