Great now I'm going to have to deal with people blindfolding themselves in their own cars even when its just them

gatito bueno's avatar

jeez mr dennis, that does sound kinda dangerous!

coords1306's avatar

turns out its more effective than the vaccines as you'de be a lot less likely to die of covid when driving blindfolded

Ric's avatar

Well, the head on collision would have been worse if the drivers weren't vaccinated. Now get that 11th booster and mask up!

FlyoverCountry's avatar

And it should go a long way to further the depopulation agenda, a win-win!

Catherine Hazur's avatar

Now we'll be forced to get self driving cars

Catherine Hazur's avatar

Get into an accident while driving blindfolded and they will still call it a Covid death

TIOK's avatar

The only compassionate solution. No choice. Think of all the problems this can solve!

Self driving cars, with reliance on centrally controlled infrastructure, can now be directed to avoid dangerous areas and dangerous lifestyle choices! Imagine...get in your $200K smart car and say "take me to the dairy queen please!" and it responds "I'm sorry Dave, I can not do that. You have exceeded your healthy choice once per month ice cream quota this month." so you say "Ok, then take me to the steakhouse for dinner!" and your car responds "sorry Dave, I can not do that. You have exceeded your red meat intake quota for this month. I am taking you to the Kale Garden restaurant instead. Please fasten your seatbelt!"

Or...."please take me to the polling place" and your care responds "I'm sorry Dave, I can not do that. Your web browsing history shows you've been viewing non-approved political content so you may vote irresponsibly, damaging our 'democracy' with your misinformation guided opinions" ... oh boy what fun.

Very entertaining comment.

New HAL same as the Old HAL! AI will not be the fun and games so many think its going to be!

TIOK's avatar

HAL was a poke at IBM. maybe the centralized AI that will control us all eventually we can call PAL - preposterously absurd lunacy (PAL)....

Nope, bad idea. Never mind.

Catherine Hazur's avatar

HAL9000 was IBM once removed, the latter no stranger to assisting with the Final Solution for profit right out of the gate during the Nazi era.

While the Early HAL9000 prototype and subsequent revisions were relatively benign compared to the

Latest version. = mMAL2030

If I bought a tesla I would have to also buy all that flame retardant turnout gear like what firefighters wear......

GK's avatar

You know some would do it!

George Wines's avatar

I did see a woman alone in a car in a mask yesterday, so a blindfold can't be far off.

Jimmy Gleeson's avatar

The great news is any blindfold will do, even closing your eyes works to stop the spread.

baker charlie's avatar

This is seriously entering Bugbladder Beast territory...if you can't see the virus, it can't see you, thus you are safe....

Jimmy Gleeson's avatar

That’s why you cover yourself with a towel.

baker charlie's avatar

100% Legit! Checks out!

Catherine Hazur's avatar

The blindfold being the open air equivalent of sticking your head in the sand...

Control Group's avatar

Where I drive, they already do.

Crixcyon's avatar

They just get a super sized mask from Masky-Dees.

CaliforniaLost's avatar

My blindfold protects you.

gatito bueno's avatar

is that a sort of sneaky way of calling someone ugly?

(because that would be kinda mean)

CaliforniaLost's avatar

If I had one of those fancy AI meme generators, a blindfolded, karate chopping cat, hissing out "my blindfold protects you" would be probably show up a Sunday meanday post...

Dr Linda's avatar

Ouch, nicely stated

Kate Finis's avatar

Laughing too hard...!!!

TIOK's avatar

And your clear vision hurts me?

Wesley Hoyle's avatar

A brave step toward vision impairment equity

My attorneys will be in touch. You almost caused me to drown. I was taking a sip of water when I read your comment. I still have. Water running out of my nose and all over my shirt. Thank you for that. I really needed a laugh today you provided it

Uh oh, that guy peeked! Someone call the Handicapper General.

SimulationCommander's avatar

Pretty soon you're gonna understand why they called them "Face coverings".

Yuri Bezmenov's avatar

If someone has the mind virus, they no longer need to use their eyes.

Formerly_Known_As_Someone's avatar

Is there an mRNA vaccine for that?

Bootsorourke's avatar

Indeed. and I thought it was Isis that would try to put me in a burqa

Swabbie Robbie's avatar

At least you can see out of a burka

Bootsorourke's avatar

def. to silently watch.

Catherine Hazur's avatar

Flattening the curb is just what blind drivers do

Cindi's avatar

Cover mouths, cover eyes...

🙊🙈🙉🤬

Cindi's avatar

Why not indeed. Butt plugs too?

Curtis's avatar

That's only for monkeypox season....

GK's avatar

They write themselves!

Cindi's avatar

They’re trying to bring back WuFlu so monkeypox could be next!

It's interesting how ears and eyes are connected because if you hear enough bullshit propaganda you stop seeing everything.😸

Bandit's avatar

'Bout darn time! Who wants to look at anything going on now?!

😉

David Bohm's avatar

Where can I get my official CDC certified blindfold?

Pi Guy's avatar

No, my friend. You're doing it wrong.

You need to apply for a grant to study which sorts of blindfolds are most effective*.

*depends upon your metric, tho - no?

CStone's avatar

To protect granny.......for 2 weeks.......to flatten the curve, doncha know.......

GK's avatar

"to flatten the curve"

And pedestrians.

Ed's avatar

what do you call a vaccine that requires a booster every few months to not stop spread, or noticeably reduce the hospital admissions?

my first thought: failed bio war experiment. or profitable
