That dystopian image of the black-garbed sheeple dutifully spaced and diapered, heads pointed at their phones, and submissively lined up outside that drab postmodern edifice for their surveillance makes me despair for the future of humanity, even as I harness all in my power to awaken them before the impending slaughter.

Expand full comment

MAA, do you think the slaughter is impending? It looks as if it has begun to me. Spike protein injury to the endothelial cells more downstream, but now - how many have died? Now they want to jab the babes and nobody seems powerful enough to stop them. There is a quote from Jesus in the Bible saying basically that anyone who hurts the little ones of his that it would be better for him that a millstone to be hanged around his neck, and that he be drowned in the depth of the sea. Even if you are not a Christian, it should give some solace.

Was just in touch with a friend in India. He was to come to Japan on a language study program in May 2020. He’s been vaxxed as Japan requires it of all entrants and will have to download a “track and trace” app before boarding the plane, IF/when he gets the OK to come. He has no misgivings about being tracked and traced every step he makes in a foreign land. I too have little hope for our future.

Yes, but he has already paid and while it may be refundable, he prepared and saved for years to come to Japan to study, similar to what I did many years ago. Why would Japan which by everyone’s reported standards is doing well against Covid be more restrictive? I am trying to discourage him from coming here as everyone (except me :)) is masked all the time and restrictions on occupancy still exist.

According to some posts (ok, perhaps just average grade rumors!) I've read, each additional mRNA injection produces a weaker immune response. This is supposed to be why Moderna (and perhaps other firms) switched from applications that required multiple shots to vaccine-like products which (they thought!!!) only needed one or two shots. True or not, that claim sounds reasonable. I'm just speculating, but it seems to me that any harmful side effects of the jabs are likely to be cumulative. There are reasons, probably good ones, that prior to the Covid-19 bonanza, Moderna and I guess, other's mRNA products never received approvals for human use. Cynic that I am, I often point out how wonderful it is for the world, for these corporations and of course for their investors, that somehow, by magic it must be, all the bugs and limitations fell like scales from St. Paul's eyes, in early 2020 just in time to market billions of doses of what in normal times would be called an experimental gene therapy. The vaccines are safe and effective, we are told! Pay no attention to those gloom and doom reports of dire side effects, mysterious deaths. Studies of rapidly fading efficacy, even from reputable sources, must be ignored. The entire world must be vaxxed, even the young and healthy who are at almost no risk of serious illness! We must vaccinate everyone to stop the spread, even though these products do nothing to stop infection or spread! Welcome to the brave new world, where science and logic may be shaped to produce whatever result your needs of the moment may demand. 😶

I filled out a religious exemption for the covid vax and flu vax for a job I applied for. Today I was asked for more clarification on the flu vaccine. Even typing In "flu vaccine exemption christian" on ddg, google and others I only really saw covid posts. Does anyone know where I can find more information to back up my request.

"Explain in more detail how your stated religious beliefs or practices cause a conflict with the vaccination requirement, including the characteristics or attributes of the FLU vaccine that violate your religious beliefs or practices, and describe how you suggest that the conflict be resolved."

Initially I was only concerned about the clot shot; however, I now have no faith in the medical community and don't want flu either.

We should (imho) not be begging for permission to not take a shot for work or any other reason. "I don't want it" should be enough. I'd be searching for another job even if I had to sweep streets or shovel snow. As I often say, we can either choose to be inconvenienced and endure suffering on our terms now or we *will* suffer on someone else's terms for the rest of our lives. "Exemptions" are only buying time for what *will* happen in the future if we continue to comply. And now there's a document of what we believe that we have to continually be scrutinized by. For instance: you enrage another employee. Enraged employee goes to HR and tells them they saw you getting a flu shot (or whatever shot) or even medicines in some cases and, "doesn't he/she have a religious exemption." I'm telling everyone... we have to stop it all. I'm sorry. Masks, Shots, Tests, "exemptions", distancing. Sorry to blow up Darkwing. It's not against you at all. Haha. We have to start thinking a bit outside the box on all of this if we are going to have any chance of stopping it. We fool ourselves if we think that these monsters are not thinking outside the box. Good luck Darkwing

Section 12 of EEOC guidance is pretty clear - the key is the "undue hardship on the employer". Important to read section 12 to understand all the examples so you can push back. https://www.eeoc.gov/laws/guidance/section-12-religious-discrimination#h_9593682596821610748647076

Overview: Religion is very broadly defined for purposes of Title VII. The presence of a deity or deities is not necessary for a religion to receive protection under Title VII. Religious beliefs can include unique beliefs held by a few or even one individual; however, mere personal preferences are not religious beliefs. Individuals who do not practice any religion are also protected from discrimination on the basis of religion or lack thereof. Title VII requires employers to accommodate religious beliefs, practices and observances if the beliefs are “sincerely held” and the reasonable accommodation poses no undue hardship on the employer.

I hear you. But if we know the law and push back, they may cave.

Expand full comment

Careful here. It is one thing to KNOW the law and another thing to get someone to BACK YOU UP. Employment lawyers are expensive, that is if you can even find one willing to take your case (my bet is they won't unless it is a sure, quick big win). When I was let go from my job in pharmaceutical research the lawyer I consulted said "it's very obvious what is going on here (age discrimination), but you are better off just signing the severance papers and not trying to fight it, as these cases can take years to resolve and most likely you will spend money you don't have only to lose." So just a word of caution. I know "see a lawyer" is a knee-jerk reaction, but the reality can be far far different. Someone can sue Kelloggs for not having enough strawberries in their Pop-tarts (yes, this actually happened), but I know someone who had a pretty darn good medical malpractice case and NOT ONE LAWYER WOULD EVEN TALK TO HER. I could go on and on about how I have seen how the legal system works for some and not others. Again, KNOWING the law isn't enough, you have to have someone powerful fighting for you.

Love the kitten! Somewhat related (though I could add this to any thread...just happen to be on this one right now) my wife shared a post with me recently that suggested those of us that have not been vaccinated start referring to ourselves as "vaccine-free" instead of "unvaccinated" as the "un" has a more negative connotation. I'm trying to do this more and maybe we can get others to use this term.

I say "uninjected".

Expand full comment

You could always use "untransfected" :) Look it up. It's perfect because while it is an "un" , transfected is not only biologically correct but has that resonance of "infected" which has it's own connotations to those who are the kind to say "unvaccinated" with disdain (right back at ya). I'm not referring to nice people who happen to be vaccinated and let others choose for themselves, just their "morally superior" brethren. Credit goes to JJ Couey of gigaohmbiological for that one!

Expand full comment

Not easy to coin a new word for the mass market (mass formation market?).

Untransfected has the "trans" part too, so thoughts could go off on a tangent.

"Uninjected" says what I want it to say, and I can use it talking with anyone. It raises the question about why not calling the injections vaccines, and that is a question that I like to answer.

Expand full comment

I like the sentiment but there is a problem that it allows them to get away with their sophistry trick of mis-labeling the jab as a “vaccine.” Maybe “clot shot free?”

Expand full comment

that is interesting!

Expand full comment

Similar to my comment to Mr. K, I agree with that sentiment. But terms like 'clot free' and 'pureblood' won't be adopted by many and can often seen as "whoa, that is just too far". But using vaccine-free may be more acceptable. Ultimately, anything that just moves the needle for all those that are trying to go along to get along (and we all know them) is helpful in my humble opinion. As a bit for further detail, this term was being floated by employees in the airline industry that are trying to fight vaxx mandates. When writing tweets, articles, testifying in lawsuits, they are thinking the term is a more appropriate way to describe their circumstances without being overly provocative.

Expand full comment

While I totally agree, the term of 'vaccine-free' instead of 'unvaccinated' being used more consistently, even in media, would have value. Going with the 'clot shot free' immediately puts some on the defensive path and they miss the point of the seemingly minor change - but one that has more potential benefits. imagine if all the various posts or headlines you see said 'vaccine-free' instead of 'unvaccinated'. Would that have an affect on "the middle" that needs to shift it's weight on all of this nonsense to the side of choice (as well noted by el gato)?

In fairness, the problem is not unique to Marxism. (Nearly?) all ideological movements have some nebulous, happy-sounding, ill-defined vision of what victory will bring. Moderna did a post vax rollout study for months and found unvaxxed were only .64% more likely to get Covid than vaxxed. (Probably neither are very likely to get it.)

He only said that because his regular Big Pharma cheque was late. They bunged a bit more in the post to bring him back on Narrative.

Expand full comment

I don't have a link sorry. The doc was circulated at work by the vaccine enthusiasts. But don't worry, you're not missing much because I was being kind of sarcastic. The doc says "Research needs: original antigenic sin, role of T cells in severe disease, more broadly protective vaccines, improved effectiveness studies, vaccine effectiveness against severe disease"... So they acknowledged it. Nothing more. Haha

LOL, seems like the only people afraid of covid anymore are the zealously vaccinated. Everyone else arrived at this conclusion last year.

Update on the situation at Cornell.

Cornell with its 97% vaxxed and highly boosted campus just updated COVID numbers. 1,442 cases for the week- positivity rate is now over 6%.

330 "cases" registered today.

Cornell has mandatory masking, contact tracing, surveillance testing, supplemental testing, a daily health check app and a vaxx requirement.

The questions I asked of them were answered today. Rather they were dodged. Here's the exchange:

1) In this most recent letter, it is stated that the transmission has been occurring due to travel and due to social gatherings. What is your current evidence for this?

A: Information regarding potential transmission source is gathered by trained Cornell staff known as pandemic response officers (PROs) who interview each positive case.

2) In this letter it is noted that transmission has not been occurring in academic settings. What is your current evidence that supports this?

A: Information regarding potential transmission source is gathered by trained Cornell staff known as pandemic response officers (PROs) who interview each positive case. Additionally, testing of close contacts has not identified transmission in the academic setting.

3) In this letter there is an assertion that vaccines are our best protection. Based on the two questions above does this then imply that the vaccines work in academic settings but not in social settings?

A: Please see the CDC information, which provides information on the benefits of vaccination. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/keythingstoknow.html?s_cid=10499:about%20covid%2019%20vaccine:sem.ga:p:RG:GM:gen:PTN:FY21

4) If the caveat is that the social settings are less likely to include mask wearing does this then mean that the vaccines only work when accompanied by a mask?

A: Please see information provided above on vaccine which indicates they reduce the likelihood of infection and serious disease. Additionally, masks and social distancing can further reduce your risk of infection. For additional information on mask please see the CDC information regarding mask in areas of high transmission: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/masks.html

5) If there is such "spread" causing record number of "cases" isn't this a clear indication that the medical strategies that have been employed over the past year and a half (vaccines, masks and/or vaccine/mask combination) at best don't work and therefore promoting more of the same, e.g. "boosters", is doubling down on a failed strategy?

A: No I don’t believe so, the spike in cases in driven by the presence of the latest variant of concern (omicron). Early information from South Africa indicate vaccine provide a reduction in likelihood of infection compared to unvaccinated persons. Masks have been shown to reduce aerosolization of vaccine thus helping to further reduce your risk.

6) There are numerous universities throughout the country that are not employing the "strategies" employed at Cornell and are having little to no problem with infections or cases- this with very large social gatherings of all types. How does the administration reconcile this fact with what is happening at Cornell?

A: Omicron.

It’s mild. Martin Makary pointed it out. It’s lunatic to freak over omicron but it’s all thr media can think of. I won’t rush out to testing, nor will I waste my money on home tests. No! One person reported dead somewhere! No details! It's a crisis! We're all gonna die! We're sorry about all the panic porn and false alarms from before. This time it's real! This is not a drill! 😑 (Hey! I'm pretty good, and I don't even read/watch the MSM -- maybe I should write copy for them???)

Lacking any hard info, I would assume that the reported "death" will fall into the very large bin called "with Covid." In other words, a person likely having several of the usual morbidities: age, morbid obesity, circulatory disease, respiratory disease, diabetes, etc. who happened to test positive on a high cycle PCR test.

Reported today at Zero Hedge, Fauci once again has trotted out the tired old boogeyman "overrun hospitals." Those of us with long memories, or even better, currently reading Alex Berenson's best-selling "Pandemia" (yes, that's a plug!) have heard that line many, many times before. It's nearly always been wrong. Same old panic porn, different day. Yawn.

I'll give Fauci one bit of credit: in the quotes, he expresses fear for the unvaccinated, rather than blaming them for the current "crisis."

SARS-COV-2 LAB LEAK IN TAIWAN CONFIRMED

Published on: Monday, 13 December, 2021

The infection took place in a Biosafety Level 3 lab

According to Taiwan News, and since picked up by Western media, a (recent) SARS-Cov-2 lab leak has been confirmed in (the Republic of) China.

SARS-Cov-2 is the virus that causes COVID-19.

The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) concluded on Saturday (Dec. 11) that an assistant researcher was infected with the Delta variant of COVID while experimenting on the virus in a high safety laboratory... Officials are not ruling out the possibility that an error occurred during handling of the mice and that a cross-infection occurred inside the lab.

— Taiwan News

Alina shared the story with us before English-speaking media appeared to have picked up on it.
