"Don't believe in science" or "anti-science" is the just another way of calling someone a racist, homophobe, transphobe, xenophobe or some other social phobia related to an aggrieved (yet highly celebrated in popular and corporate culture) social group. "Yeah, I don't like what this person says about X". "You're obvious a racist." "This talk about Y is baffling to me." "That's because you don't believe in science." "I don't really know what all the fuss is about for Z." "If you weren't so transphobic, maybe you'd get it."
