NJ is a "may issue" state ( i live in NJ). The law says that a person can only be issued a CC permit if the person shows special need. Like if they carry alot of cash, are in constant physical threat. Its very hard to get a CC permit in NJ. I thought about applying but then I was advised not to b/c if you are rejected , then if you ever apply again anywhere else under federal law you have to explained why you were denied and they say its like a strike against you.

If I saw good data that covid was seriously dangerous to me and my family ( I already had it and recovered Aug 2021) or that I as a recovered person was more at risk of spreading it to others I would consider getting the vaccine. But all these studies that come out from mainstream sources are so flawed. They cherry pick and manipulate the date. I am being accused of being obstinate and selfish. But I cant find good data that says I , as a recovered person , am a serious risk to others.

Was on a finance committee for a (rare) Republican candidate on the South Side of Chicago. A campaign worker hit me up for a donation for 'coffee money' cash for a group of volunteers. I was leery of un-registered campaign expenses, asked him "how much' and he said, $10. We are gong to Burger King and it $1 a cup.
