Why does this man, his story, and the success of his campaign make my grin reach both ears? :D

May God protect Mr Durr, his family and staff and grant them wisdom, discernment and more success!

THE PEOPLE ARE SPEAKING!! This inspires me to no end. Thank you for sharing, bad kitty.

I just heard about this guy on Megyn Kelly's stow. Loved his campaign ad and that he bluntly stated that Murphy's Coof ordinances led to thousands of senior deaths.

So nice to see a regular guy moving into politics. If you had more regular citizens (who have more street smarts, common sense and know how to balance budgets bc they do it every month), we would be so much better off. Go Ed Durr, Regular Family Guy from Jersey!

This needs to happen all over the country in upcoming elections. I just do not feel anybody should be a career politician.

The way it should be all over the country.

I wanna know why he was denied a cc permit. That’s outrageous.

Woo Hoooo! I've always wondered why every campaign solicitation I've ever received is a request (demand) for funds. What do they need all that money for?

Durr did a 20-minute interview in August that's on Youtube. He comes across as a working guy who didn't like the state government or lockdowns and wanted to do something about it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WX17jOtcrD0

With the distorted woke and far left Democratic agenda the message this gives is all that it takes sometimes is to stand up and say I care….enough!

the left is so craven and evil... (i live in NJ- I love this guy) look at what wikipedia has to say about him: ( conspiracy theorist....HAHAHA)

"John Michael Posobiec III (/pəˈsoʊbɪk/ pə-SOH-bik; born December 14, 1985)[1] is an American alt-right[2][3][4] and alt-lite[5] political activist, television correspondent and presenter,[6] conspiracy theorist,[7] and Internet troll.[8][9][10][11] Posobiec is best known for his pro-Donald Trump comments on Twitter, as well as using white supremacist and antisemitic symbols and talking points, including the white genocide conspiracy theory.[12][13][14][15] He has promoted fake news, including the debunked Pizzagate conspiracy theory claiming high-ranking Democratic Party officials were involved in a child sex ring.[16] From 2018 to 2021, Posobiec was employed by One America News Network (OANN), a far-right cable news television channel, ..."

He spent $153 on his PRIMARY run. He raised about $10k for the general. Still dwarfed by what the incumbent spent.

"100% of Covid-19 Vaccine Deaths were caused by just 5% of the batches produced according to official Government data" https://theexpose.uk/2021/10/31/100-percent-of-covid-19-vaccine-deaths-caused-by-just-5-percent-of-the-batches-produced/

Uh, That's Not A Conspiracy Theory https://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=244109

"What originally got my attention was the tinfoil hat crowd screaming about lots being intentionally distributed to certain people to kill them... That was wildly unlikely so I set out to disprove it... What I found, however, was both interesting and deeply disturbing."

"But, grasshopper, I have Postgres. Indeed if you're reading this article it is because I both have it and know how to program against it... So I did exactly that with the data found here for 2021. And..... you aren't going to like it. Having loaded the base table and manufacturer tables related by the VAERS-ID I ran this query:"

"karl=> select vax_lot(vaers_vax), count(vax_lot(vaers_vax)) from vaers, vaers_vax where vaers_id(vaers) = vaers_id(vaers_vax) and died='Y' and vax_type='COVID19' and vax_manu(vaers_vax)='MODERNA' group by vax_lot(vaers_vax) order by count(vax_lot(vaers_vax)) desc;"

"there is a wild over-representation in deaths of just a few lots; in fact fewer than 50 lots account for all lots where more than 20 associated deaths accumulated and out of the 547 unique entries fewer than 100 account for all those with more than 10 deaths."

"Evenly distribution my ass."

Bidens mandate coming soon to a city near you for employers of 100 people or more:

AND THE EMPLOYER HAS TO PAY FOR ANY AND ALL ADVERSE EFFECTS FROM THE JAB

Covered employers must develop, implement, and enforce a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy, unless they adopt a policy requiring employees to choose either to get vaccinated or to undergo regular COVID-19 testing and wear a face covering at work. The ETS also requires employers to provide paid time to workers to get vaccinated and paid sick leave to recover from any side effects."

In September, Biden announced the Labor Department would draft an emergency rule compelling private companies with 100 or more employees to require vaccinations or weekly testing.

The new requirements could apply to as many as 100 million Americans, which is close to two-thirds of the American workforce. The announcement amounted to Biden's strongest push yet to require vaccines for much of the country.

The new emergency temporary standard will require large employers to give their workers paid time off to get vaccinated. If businesses don't comply, the government will "take enforcement actions," which could include "substantial fines" of up to nearly $14,000 per violation, according to officials.

I often feel that we'd do much better if we just had lotteries instead of elections. Every adult who's willing to serve is entered and we just pull a name out of a hat. It would give us "real" people in office who represent the actual American experience, instead of just the uber-wealthy in search of power.

This is fantastic, I hope it inspires more people to run for any type of office, local or otherwise. Displacing the elites and those too-far-removed from every day life of the citizenry will always be a good thing.

The only downside to this otherwise awesome story is that Sweeney is actually a level headed democrat. He provided restraint on the lunatic Murphy who proudly stated that he wants to make NJ the California of the east coast. Sweeney actually partnered with Chris Christie on pension reforms (not a fan of CC but he did make some headway on that front in this hell on earth state). In fact, the teachers union actually funded a republican in a previous election cycle in an effort to unseat him - the most costliest state legislative race in history at 24M ensued. Sweeney survived that, much to the disappointment of the teachers union. I am quite certain that the teachers union and other Murphy aligned democrats are not overly upset about Sweeney getting ousted.

Was on a finance committee for a (rare) Republican candidate on the South Side of Chicago. A campaign worker hit me up for a donation for 'coffee money' cash for a group of volunteers. I was leery of un-registered campaign expenses, asked him "how much' and he said, $10. We are gong to Burger King and it $1 a cup.
