i am just a kitten and we’re only just learning evolutionary and developmental psych in school, so maybe you can help me understand something i noticed:
it seems weird all these karens bleating that "kids are resilient" managed to grow up to be such un-resilient adults.
so, do humans kind of lose that in puberty or something?
because that kind of seems pretty evolutionarily maladaptive.
might it be that presuming kids are so endlessly resilient maybe winds up breaking them and turning them into karens?
because that would be a real feather in the cap for the “nurture over nature” people!
In response to the tweet, yes, that is exactly where we're at, but if you've been watching for the past few years, you're not surprised. You might be a bit surprised at how fast we got here, but not that we're here.
i always read brumby! i add the vax don't work and has to many unknowns to expose our kids to......
my response to karen is resilient to what? then why do they need to suffer, get in to a little critical thinking until they call me a deplorable for not genuflecting to the dogma.
On the other hand, their kids will have something worth rebelling against when they hit adolescence.
Personally, I find that growing up with an over-anxious mother (bless her) was excellent preparation for dealing with the maskoholics and vaccine scolds.
Kid’s Brain’s undergo massive pruning at Puberty 12-14 girls 13-16 boys. That’s when what previously appeared to be Resilience disappears and you are left with a Borderline Karen or a Psychopathic Ken.
You must attend a school for gifted kittens.
Perhaps growing up under a karen really does make you resilient. Like being brought up in the rainforest by a sugar cube.

Like to see more of this. Italian police join the protest: https://twitter.com/LMFireSystems1/status/1424961887029055510
Would need to be on a mass scale to move the needle, even a bit.

One of our hopes is that they do not reproduce.

Those are always the ones who are most enthusiastic reproducers.
