When I was a paramedic the mannequins at the station were always kinda quiet and they never really complained much when we would do all sorts of horrible things to them. I like em. I think they deserve some mainstream media attention.

On ABC news last night they talked about a shortage of truckers to haul containers away. Of course there was no mention of that awful law you wrote about that restricts owner operators in that state.
I read that Gov De Santis is welcoming container ships to his ports.
Based on his interview with Joe Rogan, Sanjay Gupta wouldn't approve of CNN broadcast that second picture but he also wouldn't say anything to the chiefs about it.
I would guess most people in the Bay Area where I sadly dwell would approve of this as it gets the ‘good message’ across and all methods are fair game to get those shots into arms. The irony of the dogmatic ideology that mirrors the inquisition is lost to them.
The purpose of TV news is exactly the same as the purpose of (other) TV shows. That purpose is to keep you watching the channel until the next commercial can be aired. The goal of *everything* on TV is the sale of advertising time, which is valued in proportion to how many eyeballs are viewing a particular channel. What the show is about, or what that show purports to convey--be it "reality" or "fantasy" or something else--is irrelevant. That makes the use of words like "trust" misplaced, no? (Apologies for the arrogantly pedantic nature of this post.) I will now return to snarky comments!
