“It is not permissible for the elderly to spend 100 percent of their time in spaces at 20°C and below. It is life-threatening to bathe frail seniors in a room heated to only 20°C when they get cold quickly,” said Daniela Lusková, vice-president of the Association of Social Service Providers.

However, a spokesman for the Ministry of Health insisted that regulations were made in consultation with professional scientific opinion.

Professional. Scientific. Opinion.

We can trust that.

Is this from the Czech Republic?

The elderly were used as an excuse for locking us down, but when push comes to shove, the elderly get sacrificed. That's why, back in the early days of COVID, they sent all those sick people back into nursing homes. They thought (incorrectly) that they'd have to triage in hospitals, they prioritized the young, and they let the old die. Then those masses of very sick young people never materialized (occasional rare exceptions never put hospitals under strain), but that was later. Anyway, expect the old to be sacrificed again.

Yes Democrat New York Governor Cuomo sent COVID infected elderly back into the nursing homes , despite having a federal hospital ship in port to care for COVID and an emergency federal hospital set up in the city. It was not to save the hospitals from being swamped. The other governors (California, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Jersey) who sent sick elderly back to nursing homes were Democrats too. Yes the elderly were sacrificed but the "reason"--save the hospitals--was only the excuse. I believe in part this was done to raise the COVID death count to further drive citizens to take the vaccine when it became available. Remember, early treatment was blocked so that the only option for "treatment" was the toxic vaccine that was in production. None of this was by accident. https://breggin.com/article-detail/post_detail/covid-19-and-political-correctness-1700-more-ny-nursing-home-deaths

Yes indeed. Frankly, I’m surprised anyone still believes a word of the “overwhelmed hospitals” excuse. The intent was obvious almost from day one, certainly within a few weeks. I live in NYC, my husband had a stroke in the spring of 2020 and the emergency room was empty when we arrived. He was immediately surrounded by doctors, nurses and aides who we glad to finally have something to do.

Expand full comment

Exactly. NYC sped up their curve by infecting all the at-risk at once, and even then they weren't overwhelmed (thought it was close).

NYC shut down a bunch of hospitals in 2014 to save money. This is one of the main reasons they were almost at capacity.

Same in the UK - clearing of hospital wards including the elderly ‘bed blockers’.

Whilst the government propaganda bleated ‘Save the NHS’ and ‘protect Grandma’ the Department of Health (renamed Health Security) placed blanket DNARs on all care homes (elderly, physical and learning disabled). But medical care was not simply removed for Covid patients but all health services for any condition. Our care homes became T4 death camps.

In the community they used (will use again, and again) a Frailty scoring system. Scores derived from how disabled a person is (5 - requires help doing heavy chores, uses a mobility aid), plus years over 60 in bands (60-64) plus NUMBER of medical conditions ranging from incontinence, hearing loss to heart failure and cancer.

During the waves the scores for being refused life saving care in hospital and the community was reduced from the non-urgent 8 to 5.

Add to scoring evil, there’s been a massive uptick in the use of midazalam, morphine and benzodiazepines. These were not just used in Covid cases but even in one’s home. While in hospital many were also put on a renamed version of The Liverpool Care Path. ‘Care’ a misnomer if ever there was one as both nutrition and liquid were restricted facilitating death. Only emergency treatment such as in a car accidents were provided for high frailty scoring patients.

Yes, it was used to increase the Covid death count. But I believe it’s use was more for the Eugenics T4 Programme. To rid the nation of useless eaters.

I’m over 60, require assistance for heavy jobs within the home, and as with most over 60’s have a number of conditions.

I know, and am fully aware, that I will be refused life saving treatment should I require it in the future.

It’s like living on death row.

He, not me, would be totally shocked to know of these DNAR’s. He used to be an effective lawyer, he still believes in the wonderful drs and carers.

It’s impossible to disabuse him of this orchestrated concept of ‘care’. But I can see straight thru it. A well oiled system administered by managerial psychopaths and emotionally dead drs.

I wrote repeatedly on Tw from April 2020 when I was sent yet another ‘advanced durective’ request and accidentally found documentation on the Frailty Scoring Packages (to help health officials to score patients). I was an early banned on Tw poster for reporting this and many other ‘wrong think’ early in 2020. I moved on to repeatedly writing this info on frailty scoring on YouT until my comments were shadow banned.

I wrote in 2020 to UK Column, and Amnesty International and a few others, but never received a reply. It wasn’t until summer 2021 that the practice of blanket DNARs was exposed by The Quality Care Commission, The Sunday Times and Amnesty.

Summer 2021 was also when a case was brought before UK High court to lift blanket DNARs on learning disabled homes by the ‘inmates’ families. They won the case and these were lifted. But by autumn with another ‘emergency’ they were placed yet again on high frailty scoring individuals and care homes.

Hancock the health secretary during Covid (WEF graduate) lied to the House of Commons when questioned about his and Chris Whitty’s NICE guidelines on refusing care in hospitals. Hancock claimed Amnesty, Sunday Times and QCC were the liars.

There’s to be an inquiry but tbh I know no one will be prosecuted let alone be questioned on the UK’s T4 Programme.

Just consider how interested British politicians are in protecting the population. When Christopher Chope MP brought up Vee damage, the HoC was empty. When Elinsky turned up, it was standing room only.

They didn’t just send the residents back into their own nursing homes, they actually sent sick elderly people who were not residents of the nursing home from the hospital into the nursing homes and when they fought the placement of non residents in their nursing home they were told that by the governors order they must make room and could not send these strangers back to the hospital. Some nursing homes lost as many as half of their residents after this insane proclamation to accept sick strangers into their care.

20 degrees Celsius = that is 68 degrees Fahrenheit. We are "elderly" and we have never liked to heat our homes higher than 68 in winter. Hospitals keep their rooms cool, too, because germs don't spread as well. Now, if one is talking about no heating where the rooms will get closer to outside temps in northern climates that is where life is threatened. Sweaters and coats go a long way, but, if there is a lack of calories in limited food to heat your body in those jackets you are in big trouble.

Expand full comment

This is in nursing homes, though. A lot of people there are underweight, and so they get cold easily. Plus, they have mobility issues, and so undressing and bathing them takes a while. You cannot do it in 5 min. If it's (relatively) cold in the bathroom, then that's a problem.

Expand full comment

Yes. Last winter my grandmother was too frail to wear a cable-knit sweater. According to what little she could vocalize at that point, it was too heavy. A very, very lightweight cardigan sweater was the best she could do.

Expand full comment

My cousin age 85 is in a nursing home and needs help bathing. They heat up the bathroom for that and for dressing. They keep the rooms at about 68.

If there is a need to have the general population use less fuel this winter they can certainly make exceptions for nursing homes. That would only be a tiny fraction of the whole. Of course, if the real reason is to kill off the elderly...

Expand full comment

I don't think anyone's deliberately trying to kill off the elderly. However, forgetting about the elderly is very easy in times of crisis. I would think that they should prioritize institutions for the vulnerable (hospitals and nursing homes) and make sure heating is adequate there. Elsewhere, well, put on some more clothes.

I'm a foreigner living in the Czech Republic, btw. I'm slowly preparing for the winter. I get cold quite easily, and so I've been trying to stock up on warm indoor clothes (I need to buy a few more pairs of warm socks, plus a warm vest to go over a sweatshirt). I fully expect to wear my winter coat around the clock, indoors. Sucks, but that's what seems to be coming.

I keep the heat at 65°F in the winter, so I can afford the gas bill. I'm afraid that I may have to go lower this winter. I don't know if I can stand lower.

Expand full comment

I live in a small trailer can only manage to heat to about 65 in winter. And part of that is a propane stove I have to shut down at night and cannot leave unattended. I am trying to get a wood stove into a portable building by winter. I'm also thinking of insulating under my trailer with straw bales to block the wind.

When my husband first got ill and we had to vacate our last apartment,we spent a year (winter too ) in a tent. It's not too bad until the temps get below freezing, then the cold outside wants to suck all heat from you.

Sure, I could move into town, but then all of my money would go to rent and I wouldn't have my garden or chickens which I think are just as important these days.

Expand full comment

Yes. Keep the garden and chickens. Your trailer can be fixed a bit at a time and things like straw bales covered in plastic tarping to keep water out can help a lot. I have bought a bit of back up electric with four 100 watt solar panels and a Bluetti 200P (2000 watt) solar generator (there are a number of brands and sizes look at just what you need and can afford.) It can run most all appliances in the house if the power is out and can be charged with the solar panels, the wall current and even a car cigarette lighter socket (though that would take a long time). Another thing for lights at night is to buy some yard solar powered lights tha you leave outside in the sun all day and bring in to use as lights at night. We have done that when rain storms knock out the power. works well.

Expand full comment

God bless you and keep you both warm and safe. 🙏 Lots of people in trailers and old houses use the hay bales around here to keep the heat in and to keep water pipes from freezing. Having a garden is very important and I'd love to have chickens, but can't in our neighborhood.

Expand full comment

I hear you. We moved a couple years ago when we retired. Now we have propane only. No wood stove in this place to have alternative heat like our old home. It is a 500 gallon tank. We watch the change in the cost to fill and it is considerably higher on the last fill. I am not looking forward to the next one. Our saving factor is this house is small and tight and we only go through 2 complete fills a year for heat and kitchen stove. If you can close off some rooms from most of the heat and target the heat into the rooms you are in, it should help the bill a bit.

We do close off rooms. We have a fireplace, but it's gas, too. 🙄 (Was here when we moved in.) I hate it! I need to find out if it can be put back to wood.

By preempting the attack, Putin chose the timing & the nature of the war. Which is why he is winning both the kinetic & economic wars, why he has the full support of Russians, and why Russian soldiers are literally greeted as liberators with flowers & cheering crowds.

Expand full comment

Bullshit. The Davos Gang of creeps are just lovin that war, they were just salivated at the prospect of Russia invading. They are doing their best to prolong the war, I see another 20yr Afghanistan special brewing there. So two choices, only two:

1) Putin is a Schwab Global Leader of Tomorrow puppet or at least compromised or blackmailed into doing their bidding, which of course was to start their Ukraine war they wanted so badly. They are milking that war in some many ways it's incredible. When people are starving in America it will be blamed on Putin's war.

2) Putin was punked into the invasion. And yes the biolabs, nukes, attacks on Donbass, prep for attacking Crimea, that was all happening, unquestionably directly on instructions from Davos. Note they wouldn't back down one cm on that, knowing full well Russia would invade, and they knew well in advance it was going to happen, and they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to prevent it. They f'in love it.

And leaked documents show indeed Putin expected the invasion would be over in 2 days, Ukraine would capitulate. He was punked. With unlimited funding they can buy his Putin's intelligence chiefs like you would buy a candy bar. "...You want $10M in a western bank, buy an island in the Caribbean, no problem we'll get that for you. Just tell Putin Ukraine will be a pushover, that's all we ask..."

And why is Putin still backing Wall St Bankster owned minion Elvira Mistress of Darkness as Central Bank chief. She's done more to damage the Russian economy than the Azov battalion could imagine in their wildest dreams.
