i’m so grateful for these compilations, gato. i’ve turned off the news altogether, so i’d never even see this. thanks for having your finger on the pulse and sharing it in such a glaringly obvious way.

Yeah, I don't do "the news" anymore either, so it's good one of our watchcats is on the bullsh*t patrol.

I kept a few locations with fake news, just to compare how far behind they are. Usually I read just a few titles. Hilarious.

Expand full comment

Yup, good entertainment.

Just this morning read about how CA governor Newsom banned travel to Montana because the legislature there MIGHT ban abortion. And that violates LBGTQWE inclusiveness somehow. Then Gav turns up on vacation with his family and entourage of taxpayer funded security details and aides to - wait for it - Montana!

I don't know a comic who can write stuff this funny!

Expand full comment

LOL did you see the ad he ran in Florida touting all of CA's freedoms?

https://nypost.com/2022/07/04/gavin-newsom-launches-ads-urging-floridians-to-leave/

Yeah, you can't make this stuff up.

Amazing.

One report said CA taxpayers paid for it. I don't know if that's true but it would not surprise me. So the jokes on us :-)

Expand full comment

Luckily, it wouldn't be a long list and therefore, wouldn't take much time to read. 🙄

Expand full comment

Would be real funny, just like Castreau, if it were not for the people they hurt ! Still a good laugh when you are in a safe distance. Did California really vote for that man?

Expand full comment

Did California really vote for that man? Well that is a loaded question ;-).

I didn't. Voted to recall him, too. But do we really know what happens to the ballot after we drop it in the box? Not a clue. Comparing the vote counts published by the state AG to the US census data for 2020, about 99% of the adult population voted and over 100% of the adult population was registered to vote. For every registered voter at least one ballot was mailed out to the address on record. According to the AG over 90% of those were returned. The DMV is required, by law, to register to vote anyone who applies for a DL or ID card. The DMV is prohibited, by law, from checking if the applicant is a citizen. But, state law is that only US citizens can register to vote in CA. It is a crime to register yourself if you are not a US citizen. But the DMV can do it for you.

There is a tiny checkbox on the DL/ID form for "don't register me to vote" which non-citizens have to check to avoid having the DMV register them to vote and, effectively, having them commit a crime by not "opting out". County registrars are the only means to audit but do not, really can not, verify citizenship. Confused yet? Concerned?

Census says over a third of residents in California are either not US citizens or under the age of 18. That includes only legal residents. Estimates put the illegal population at from 4 to 10 million in California. We don't' really know, that's what "undocumented" means. DMV is also prohibited from verifying residence status (legal or "undocumented") of applicants.

Millions of non-citizens and illegal residents have ID cards or Drivers Licenses. As explained by our legislators, it is essential to have to survive and so it would be wrong to deny anyone.

Odds are high many of those people missed the tiny "opt out" box and many probably are unaware that it is illegal for them to vote in an election. In fact several organizations, under the guise "get out the vote", were advertising that ANYONE CAN VOTE and implicitly encouraging illegal voting. We are talking media adds, phone calls, the whole deal. They did not define "anyone" and so technically were not promoting illegal activity (so explained to my by someone in the AGs office when I asked). "Anyone" would of course mean any US Citizen who has not otherwise had their right revoked by due process of law - obvious to the most causal observer, right?

Taking into account the number of documented non-citizen adults reported by the census, subtracting that from the adult population, comparing to the vote counts reported by the AG, and we have far more than 100% turnout for legal voters. But no chance this is fraud, nope. I'm a racists trumpian slime for looking at the numbers and reporting what I see.

So I mean, what could possible make you think elections in California are anything but perfectly legit?

Ah, you think your fine because you don't live in California. Guess what kids:: The Party has billions of dollars to bring these policies to your state. Yup, they are bad and nation wide (sorry Billy).

OMG. How different it is here in Georgia ! We have to show proof of identity (drivers license) when we go to the voting place. No wonder CA is such a mess. Thanks for the update.

Oh, I just got it -- it's the evening noose that's causing all these people to "inexplicably" drop dead.

It is all true. You just have to accept the new definition of "truth".

When facts fail to support your "truth" no problem, just make up something that does.

Expand full comment

Yes! Why not include the "vaccines" in their grouping of causes of strokes and heart attacks if they're so inclusive? I can see how it might be POSSIBLE for dirt that's been affected by pollution/microplastics to have deleterious effects, and for peoples' stress levels to have hit the roof impacting a person's immune system, making folks more susceptible to heart issues. But since they consistently omit any mention of the VAX being a possible culprit, then that reveals their true motives--all smoke and mirrors.

Global Warming is religion not science. And it's hard to argue religion with someone drunk on the Kool Aid.

Expand full comment

Actually climate change is astrophysics. It is part of the natural life of the planet. The geophysical and astrophysical forces that created this still largely molten rock upon which we (humans and cats) reside continue to drive change.

The religion is based on a belief that some how puny humans have somehow altered the evolution of the planet in some way which can overcome the vast geophysical and astrophysical forces involved. Ironically many of the true believers in the man made climate change scam laugh condescendingly at the story of the burning bush.

Tell your MMGWS (man made global warming swindle) followers to stand near a volcano for an hour. Yeah, we have the power to change the planet...sure....

BTW we have to say "climate change" to be inclusive. Because all available data fails to support actual warming trends and so we have to include cooling as part of "change" :-).

Expand full comment

Spot on. Astrophysics indeed. We need to include among the fabulists the archeologists who deny the existence of advance megalithic civilization and the catastrophe(s) that wiped it out some 11 to 12 K years ago. They would have us believe that Dynastic Egyptians with copper chisels and pounding stones built the most complex structures ever. All this to say that the cosmos, the solar system and especially the sun are only "relatively" stable. "And what rough beast, its hour come round at last, Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?" So, no scientific basis for that claim. gardening? Well, let me see - we have been doing backyard gardening for eons and no excess deaths recorded from that exposure either that I have ever seen correlated. More bogus science for that one. I love the concept of energy bill rise - what happened to the people who lived through the original OPEC energy crisis? I cannot find a single attribution to an increase in heart attacks from that period of time. I think this quote gets to the heart of it of this type of propaganda. It is designed to humiliate.

“In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, not to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is in some small way to become evil oneself. One's standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control.”
