To everyone who has ever been deplatformed, censored, deleted, disappeared, expurgated, purged, excised, silenced, chilled, shut out, denounced, suppressed, vetted, or red-penciled.....let liberty and freedom ring! Silent no more.
I’m guessing you’ll be allowed back soon, Gato. It’s a public service, what you’ve done. It must be time consuming. There has to be tremendous opportunity cost for you involved in your efforts on Twitter and Substack. You deserve praise and gratitude, and most definitely a groveling apology, in sackcloth and ashes, from Twitter.
It's actually quite telling that they're so terrified of even a moderate move against total censorship. As far as I'm aware Musk wants everyone to attach their posts with their real life identity.
Given that we've already seen countless instances of people's posts being used against them I'm not sure trading anonymity for less moderation is a good deal in the long run.
Why all the taunting of “woke Twitter employees” as if it’s most of the company and not just management? Why don’t I hear anything about sharing the joy of long-time Twitter employees who believe in free speech and were holding out for something like this, a return to the ideals Twitter stood for when they joined? I hereby invite them on particular to our celebration!
I cannot believe all the conservative intellectual fire power that may be roaring back on Twitter in just a few weeks! And, of course, El Gato malo as well........ :-)
Don't think I'll go back, but I'm glad to know that there are green-haired lunatics losing more of their minds.
Dance on my little feline friend, dance on.
I don’t think I will go Twitter. Substack is better for long pieces. And we owe them a lot.

I hope they do move to Canada. Politics under Castro Jr. will be an apropos experience for them…
Let's hope that this is the first victory of many to come in the long battle for free speech, and freedom in general.
The real question is: would you go back if they allowed it? I won't.
They can learn to code or clean cat litter

Gonna be a day of finger food for me because I ain't gonna be able to tear myself away from my laptop for more than, say, five minutes at a time...
