i am just a kitten and not a big important FDA chair or ADCOM head, but i think maybe that finding out in 2025 if the vaccine was safe for your heart and 2027 if it was safe for your baby is kind of a bit late, isn’t it?
i mean, mightn’t you want to know those things, you know, BEFORE you took or mandated it?

running a botulism test on the food you just ate and getting the results back from the lab in a month seems maybe less than super helpful…
The rubber meets the road starting in October. I follow the data in the US extremely closely, and can make a pretty good prediction that the Winter/Fall wave coming up will be 20-50% larger than the one from last year. It will interesting to see what the vaccine mandaters do in response to incontravertible evidence the vaccines failed in their primary stated goal. One thing they <i>will do</i> is start rolling out the vaccine designed for Delta, long after Delta starts to recede and is replaced by the next widespread variant. So, you will have to get 2 doses for the Delta vaccine followed up by its booster next year, then rinse and repeat.
I have written it many times already since this started- the key to ending the panic is to stop testing for the disease in any setting other than a hospital with in-patients. As long as we keep testing in the US at 1-2 million PCR tests/day, we will keep seeing these seasonal waves, and the of the positives 0.1-0.5% of those positives will die of something within a calender year.
Isn't this virus simply "out there" - everywhere in the environment now? Just like all the other flu bugs and their variants? It's prevalence may wax and wane with the seasons or as conditions change, but it seems to me that it's irreversibly everywhere if "they" choose look hard enough with sufficiently sensitive equipment (or with lies and exaggerations).
The FDA has been doing this for decades. Same for CDC. Nothing about this situation is new or unexpected, frankly. Pfizer spent good money investing in receiving *exactly* this type of outcome. Apparently, it was money well spent! 🤡
Luckily theres no potential conflict of interest for a former FDA commissioner to be on the board of the company that successfully advanced the fastest vaccine approval ever in the US, circumventing public comment and trial completion.
It’s clear that the three letter agencies these days simply cater to the corporations they are supposed to be overseeing.
FDA did not take into account clinical trial data after the first 6 months of the trial. In other words, this is the same data that the recommendations were based on earlier, without taking into account the Delta cases showing waning vaccine immunity, breakthrough cases and hospitalizations etc.....They also did not do this with the committee review that usually is an important step in the process. Why?
Just like lots of our fellow festivals and events, Boardmasters Festival will ask all ticket holders aged 11 and over to demonstrate their COVID-19 status via the NHS COVID Pass upon arrival at the festival gates before entering, by providing ONE of the following:
✔️ Proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test taken within 24 hours of arrival at the festival gates
OR
✔️ Proof of being vaccinated with both doses (with the second dose being received at least 14 days before the festival)
OR
✔️ Proof of natural immunity following a positive PCR test (providing it has been at least 10 days since your PCR test and up to 180 days after taking the test)
Camping ticket holders will also be required to take a second NHS Lateral Flow Test during the event on Friday 13th August and log their results in the NHS COVID Pass. Camping ticket holders must bring Lateral Flow Tests with them to take at the festival.
I mean isn't this what Emergency and not full authorization is for? Similar to the whole right to try. Approve enough to give people the option if they really want/need it but don't pretend like it meets normal safety standards or factor in these potential risks
This tweet links to chart out of UK showing results of Delta on vax'd / unvax'd. When taking into account the % of population vax'd then a benefit does show up. However, no where near the 99.4% effectiveness touted by CDC. It would be great if El Gato Malo would add his $0.02 to it.
I think their goal was to legitimize the vaccines (easier to push mandates) but the result for many will be loss of credibility in the FDA

This has been my argument all along. There's no way to no the long term effects because THERE HASN'T BEEN A LONG TERM YET!

We'll know long before 2025 about the safety of the jab, and it won't be because some people did a study about it. The evidence will be all around us.
