Yikes I never thought I’d hear “blood eagle” in a positive context but you got me. It’s time.

I had to look that up.

Meanwhile, up north in America's Hat, starting at the end of this month, they won't even let you onto a flight without proof of vaccination. Considering the land border is also closed - and will remain so long as Biden the Usurper remains in power - that effectively imprisons the Great Unwashed within the Frozen Northern Wasteland. Not to be a bother, but we may need a little help.

On a more serious note, maybe this is a good opportunity to give your readers a brief update on Canada. Our quasi-nationalized media combined with the people's politeness and copasetic nature makes it appear, especially to the outside world, like there is no resistance here. This is not the case. The situation has turned into a de-facto class war with the Zoom-intelligentsia (Zoomgentsia?) and bureaucracy on one side and blue-collar workers - who actually work and interact with people out into the real world - on the other.

Most notably, various police forces across the nation are displeased with the draconian mandates and are generally reluctant to enforce them. This is true even in some of the most liberal of cities, and this resistance also includes the RCMP, our federal police force. Also, in mid-September, the federal government mandated forced vaccination of the Canadian Armed Forces, but last week they very quietly rescinded this mandate. Make of that what you will.

Besides the media, the real roadblock to Canada getting out of this mess are the courts. Our constitution is being violated plain as day, and, in fact, the courts haven't made any significant rulings against it. No, they have a much more clever method here: namely, the courts aren't making any rulings at all. The politicians keep announcing various states of emergency and the courts use these as excuses to push forward critical court dates. So, even after almost two years of this we still have yet to receive a ruling on the simplest of injunctions or restraining orders against any government at any level. How long can they keep playing this game?

We live in Montana, and I grew up in North Dakota, just 80 miles from Saskatchewan. I couldn't imagine any of the Canadians I'd met and known putting up with the craziness for long. Glad to know you're trying. I think maybe we need to reorganize our two countries into "leave me the hell alone" states/provinces and the ones that want to live in a dystopian world, and then we can re-form two new countries.

The courts did bother to rule that the hotel quarantine was legal, just before Trudeau abandoned it and everyone agreed that of course it was unworkable and ineffective, but important to try anyway. I’ve never seen such a public and consequential screwup go not only unpunished, but unremarked by the governed. It wasn’t even mentioned in debates during the immediately following election!

Despite the ruling in their favour, it seems a bit like the feds were afraid of the coming appeals, doesn't it? So, now they've switched tactics and instead of imprisoning arrivals they are imprisoning departures - but, this time with the added twist of the new diktats applying only to the kittens on the globalists' naughty list.

Expand full comment

Indeed. Has it been stated that the rule would apply to departing flights? We’re supposed to assume that it does by implication, but imagine telling foreign nationals that they can not fly home until they take a series of shots over 6 weeks. It’s too ridiculous to put into words, which may be why we seem almost no analysis of this supposed sanitary measure. Amusingly on radio canadas francophone morning show just now, none of the anchors could remember the effective date of this measure in November (next month!) but they all agreed that it’s happening and assured listeners that, “There is a date”. At least we get to laugh at their bumbling amateur fascism, while wondering how far this societal disease will take them.

We (thankfully) have also witnessed a balking on the part our (Québec's) "Health" Minister, about 48 hours before he was about to throw over 22,000 health care workers on the streets (with all the ramifications on the fragilized "health" system this would have implied).

When presented with a more united front, they know they can't pull of their crazy technocratic theatricals...

And as you alluded to above, with regards to various police and armed forces, as well as federal postal workers, they can only bully the people into submission for so long. Even the most polite among us...

Actually, the land border will be opened next month but only for vaccinated people

Yeah but it make sense. Illegals crossing the border do not need to get vaccinated because according to Psaki they do not come to stay, are jus visiting I guess. But my parents from Spain cannot come for a couple of weeks to see they grandchildren because…? They lie more than they breathe and they kept peeing in your face and tell you it is raining.

Expand full comment

Yup, we're like the beta testing ground for tyranny up here. If the Canadians will accept it, then it's coming to American blue states next. Although, I think it somewhat works the other way around as well. I suspect the only reason Canada is not completely locked-down like Australia is because our brethren in red states to the south serve as an example of sanity that is just too close to home to ignore.

It's interesting that Scandinavian countries are still very reluctant to open up to the rest of the Europe/world.

Stoltenberg,Norwegian public health director said: "One and a half years after the coronavirus pandemic started in Norway, life is returning to normal. It could have taken much longer.":

“I must admit that I thought it would last longer. It is positive that it blew over fast, and that is because the vaccines came quickly and in a large quantity.”

While we are pondering whether vaccines are working, whether virus is getting more

virulent and potentially escaping vaccines, Scandinavians seem to think that it's over.

Sure, they have high vaccination rates, but what do they know that we don't?

Expand full comment

It does worry me that Americans will see their high vax rates and continue to feel that vax mandates are the way to go. Despite all the vax injuries and deaths.

Expand full comment

And the small matter that the vaxxes don't stop infection or transmission...

Expand full comment

Americans could look at Alberta’s high vax rates, and see what it has bought them (nothing).

Nothing has changed after the mass anti-covid injections pf 2021, there’s just a new variable in the chaos. Ultimately, we need people to choose freedom in spite of whatever unpredictable effect freedom will have on ancient and poorly understood cycles of respiratory viruses.

Whatever happened with the court case in Alberta where they couldn't prove the existence of COVID and thus were legally bound to reverse the restrictions but then a bunch of plants/brainwashed Covidians begged to keep their enslavement in place? If I'm remembering the story correctly …

Expand full comment

The fellow who won his court case took too much credit It would seem. If more people fought like him we’d be out of this mess, but there was never any proof that Alberta had dropped its restrictions (which it has now reimposed) because of his victory in court.

Expand full comment

Canada is a perfect example of that!

Scandinavian countries have dropped most internal restrictions and measures,

BUT they are very compliant and have high confidence and trust in their governments.

Plus, they are all very heavily vaccinated (it appears with much arm twisting and coercion)..

Expand full comment

exactly! This is why I cringe at the celebratory posts re: their reopening policies. They're also accepting only vaxxed travelers from what I understand.

Expand full comment

Yes, you need to be vaccinated to go to Norway and Sweden

Norway even mandates a quarantine if you come from a "red"zone (ie,

you have to check which country/region you are coming from) regardless

whether you are vaccinated or not.
