I understand the wanting them to have a better life. I don't understand the babying and doing everything for them. Now, we have mostly no adults in, at least, 2 generations. I just can't imagine why we're so f'd. 🤔
We're not, I'm glad to report, quite so fucked. The crowd my adult kid knows are all lovely, sensible, responsible, thoughtful, kind and good people. Interesting and fun too, in case you were starting to feel like hurling already. And they all went to Ivies or similar.

The ones I know went to state schools. They're the nastiest, laziest people I've ever had to work with.
