1,287,593 adverse event reports, including 28,532 deaths (113 of those children) through 5/27/22; untold damage to the economy, children's development, the social fabric, sanity, freedom, health, and happiness … I'd say they made a BIG freaking difference.

Meanwhile, 6 MILLION Canadians are prisoners of their country.

Haven’t broken any laws.

Haven’t been a drain on the system.

Have stood up for their bodily autonomy.

Most have Natural Immunity.

None are threats to the security of this country.

Most have paid taxes all their lives.

Many have been denied unemployment insurance, for standing for their Charter Rights, that they have paid into their whole working lives.

But the Canadian Dicktatorship doesn’t care.

The Canadian Dicktatorship discriminates, openly.

The Canadian Dicktatorship oppresses it’s own citizens, but no laws have been broken

The Canadian Dicktatorship seems tone deaf to all that are not part of their favoured class.

We are trapped, by a sociopathic narcissist and his lapdogs.

And no one seems to care.

It further reinforces that none of us need/want the WHO taking over the next pandemic. We are still in this mess 2+ years later. It has been grossly mismanaged on all levels. If the WHO gains full control they will move to override any country's constitution or charter. They will be able to declare, without question, anything as a pandemic (even global warming). It will be a vicious, neverending cycle.

In the USA, when our Founding Fathers wrote our Constitution and our Bill of Rights these didn't just apply when all is "sunshine and roses". Our rights are our God given rights, they are not rights given by our government. Our Constitution is not put on pause during bad times, war, or "pandemics".

The NYT:

"[T]here is a strong argument for continuing to remove other restrictions, and returning to normal life.... If those restrictions were costless, then their small benefits might still be worth it. But of course they do have costs.

"Masks hamper people’s ability to communicate, verbally and otherwise. Social distancing leads to the isolation and disruption that have fed so many problems over the past two years — mental health troubles, elevated blood pressure, drug overdoses, violent crime, vehicle crashes and more."

I mean, that sounds pretty much correct, even if I'd be inclined to question these "small benefits" that they speak of, and would have stronger words for the humiliation of masks. Still, I'll take it, if it stands a chance of reaching adherents of the narrative.

All told, maybe an attempt to thread the needle past tribal commitments and sunk costs and make it OK to question the ongoing meaningfulness of most of these interventions, which were previously of the utmost consequence in saving lives? Some of the koan quality may come from how they must convey, in a very knowing, we're-still-on-your-side kind of way, that good people can now do bad people things and question NPIs.

On the other hand, the article really comes down in favor of vaccination as the prime intervention against covid, and states some faks about that that I'm not sure hold up. So that's annoying. And maybe all their reasonableness around NPIs is just setting the stage for conveying the sense that calm, reflective, intelligent, evidence-based people support vaccination.

The ways of propaganda are meandering and strange. But, as a koan, this is absurdly enlightening.

Expand full comment

They are just buying time by pacifying those who have come to question their BS. Once the ESG program is complete, each and every individual will be as Woke as Disney and Coke have became because if they aren’t no food for them. If they want you to wear a mask, you will, or you will starve. End of Story. ESG enforces it.

Expand full comment

Well that's a black pill I'm not ready to swallow yet. They may attempt what they will, but the end of the story has not been written yet, and it does not lie entirely in their hands.

Expand full comment

Look into it. Major account, investing and legal firms are advertising ESG score improvement serves to corporations. At least one is advertising these for individuals. Earlier this year I ran across QR Code Only restrooms. Imagine when these two systems are merged. Already have been in China.

Expand full comment

But if there’s no electricity, all the digital shackles don’t work! That’s what I believe will be the ultimate downfall- the grid will collapse from natural disasters, war, supply chain issues, “green energy”, etc. All those digital shackles like ESG will evaporate. We’ll then be in Mad Max zone for a bit, but there’ll be freedom for those who can survive.

Expand full comment

Ah, then, all is well with in world. I do not think they will be successful but they need not be to destroy the lives of the majority. Hitler was not successful. He died. But whoa boy, look at the mess he made. Glad I didn’t have to live through that. Not wanting to have to try to live through whatever these goons plan for us, or more likely, what comes about because of their plans.

Expand full comment

haha, yes, they never said 'what' the precautions work to do. Do COVID precautions work (to destroy people's lives)? Yes, but they haven't made a big difference (in reducing COVID spread, hospitalizations, nor deaths).

This is a feature of their grift. They don't like to adhere to any accepted standards & values nor define any of their word salad (e.g. 'woman'). It makes everything unfalsifiable - so there's always lots to unpack in what they say and what they report on what others say. It is not 'truth' it is 'their truth'. So much life imitating art..."Jerry, just remember, it's not really a lie if you believe it."

They work great, they just don't stop a virus. Understand?

Expand full comment

It is like trying to lock up air. It is just a bit less bad than putting fire on woods you want to preserve from burning. And then almost burn the whole state!

Expand full comment

I get your meaning. However I must respond to your forest management slur. 🙂 While I did not participate first hand, my family owned forest land for several years so I have some familiarity with the controlled burn concept. For those not familiar, this is when a tract of land is deliberately set afire. The intent is to burn out the smaller undergrowth. This is precisely what happens in Nature due to lightning storms, etc. In fact, some species REQUIRE a periodic fire cycle for them to propagate. Done properly, it's a form of weed control. The larger trees are relatively unhurt by a small fire. The key is "done correctly." Yes, things can go wrong due to error or simple bad luck.

Finally, your wisecrack about the whole state being on fire is worth addressing. Yes, the far West has it worst due to often tinder-dry conditions. But did you know that much of the blame lies squarely with decades of piss-poor forest management practices? Remember what I said about Nature's need to clear out the small stuff? Well, when the natural fires have been suppressed for very long, or equivalently, controlled burns not done for whatever reason, huge quantities of dead wood accumulate. Then along comes an uncontrollable fire and a conflagration. This is a textbook instance of a government fuck-up: by failing to address a relatively small problem at a relatively small cost because it might inconvenience a few people, instead the problem (literally) grows until it produces a firestorm far worse than if the matter had been handled earlier.

Expand full comment

Here in Los Angeles, cycles of abundance produce a strangling overgrowth which must be burned away to make room for new life, the native species having been bred to survive the inferno, and this is true of the plants also.

Expand full comment

That is no doubt literally correct, but, it is absolutely metaphorically correct.

Expand full comment

You are right. Unfortunately the government appointed people have not done wisely, and the whole thing has run out of hand. I have been in the part of New Mexico that burned up now, and my heart broke seeing this beautiful land destroyed. It is usually when people think to be smarter than nature, that disasters happen.

Expand full comment

Agreed. While I live in the East, we still get some forest fires here. Most people would think Florida as a wet state, and indeed it is, but sometimes we get bad ("for us") fires. I'm pretty sure they are not nearly on the scale of the Southwest, though. While I've never seen a fire up close, I did see what a huge fire had done back in 1988 out West. The good news is that even after a huge one, Nature will always grow back The fire had been a few years earlier; there was new green among the charred background. But that is little consolation to all the people who had million-dollar homes entirely made of wood, in the middle of a forest that went up in flames.

Expand full comment

It was also a disaster for the Apache back in 2003 when they had a massive fire on the reservation caused by a cigarette. They lost all their harvestable trees for years to come. I don't feel too sad for the expensive homes. 1. they know where they build and 2. they have plenty of money and good insurance to rebuild 3. it is usually not their only home, in comparison to most New Mexicans who lost everything they had.

Expand full comment

I will also add (as a family who actually uses prescribed fire in our forestland), the USFS burns a lot in the spring. IMHO, this is not advisable. The west gets a lot of wind in spring, the fuels are drying out as temps get warmer during the day and most of the uncontrolled growth of a fire happens because of embers flying out of the fire line on the winds. We like fall burning. Cooler daytime temps and higher humidity at night.

Expand full comment

THANK YOU!!!! AMEN! I live in SoCal and have endured over the past 20 years of numerous fires and had our state paid attention to basic maintenance then a lot of these fires would have been diverted…..however it’s now blamed on climate change???!!!

Expand full comment

Yes, they now have a built in excuse for the damage they cause.

Expand full comment

The timing of the prescribed burn suggests it was intentional destruction. Who says that Global Warming enthusiasts will not do damage to scare the herd into Net Zero compliance? Or that they won't sacrifice forest creatures to make a point? (Don't get me started on whether Net Zero actually reduces the Carbon Footprint).

The Oroville dam disaster raises questions about whether the problems with dam controls were "encouraged"?

At some point, raptors may go extinct from windmill blade bludgeoning. Bats being killed by pressure waves around the blades may have a bad influence on mosquito populations.

The consequences of the Deep Water Horizon oil spill were profoundly exacerbated by poor response to try to end underwater oil drilling (intentionally).

The covid precautions worked just fine and dandy for the Fed! They printed up a bundle of money and played a flim flam shell game during the "repo crisis" to get reserves into the retail money supply. John Titus does a great job explaining this using FRED data on his "Larry and Carstens Excellent Pandemic" on Youtube.

I also believe Edward Dowd's hypothesis that an economic crisis, a war, supply and food crises are excellent cover to deflect blame for the system crash the Kleptocrats have caused with their financial shenanigans. Dowd thinks that governments are going to renege on sovereign debt that's been propping up our social security programs. Lockdowns and restricting travel are great ways to prevent us peasants coming at them with pitchforks.

The problem is, we may not be but too many people fell for the scam and continue to. I heard from a friend today: her in-law's family have had 2 heart attacks (same person), shingles, facial paralysis, deafness and return of menses 5 years post menopause, of course all vaxxed 3x. And they're not putting 2 and 2 together, at least not admitting to putting it together.
