We don't have to waste our time "discrediting "the agency"", it's done a good job doing that themselves.

Pretty much writing the same thing, then look down and see you already did it...

GMTA!

And, as a reward, they got a hefty raise and a new headquarters!

Expand full comment

Sure it’s unfortunate, it’s unfortunate for the FBI

Expand full comment

Exactly! Unfortunate for whom?

Expand full comment

Wow, that was a very weak response by the FBI. And yes I read the whole thing, not just that paragraph.

Basically they first said it was all just standard conduct, which it clearly isn't when you consider the details of the case. Of course they didn't discuss those details.

Then they moved into "conspiracy theorist" accusations and pretending to be the poor patriotic hard working public servants that are being wrongfully slandered.

If that's the best they have to offer, it just makes me think their position is really weak.

Expand full comment

That is the same argument a gaslighting narcissistic sociopath would use, right before they stab you when you turn your back on them.

Expand full comment

Exactly. Like a narcissist telling their spouse that all their “false” accusations is proof that they are stupid and crazy.

Expand full comment

But you know it works on the majority of the nonthink population . Theyd insert themselves into a meat grinder if teLIEvision said so

Expand full comment

Hmmm.. now there’s an idea.... 😉

Expand full comment

It's even worse if they consider it standard conduct!

Expand full comment

Yeah, when I first read that line I was stunned. Then they go on to explain that they do it to help organisations protect themselves. Which strangely made me feel reassured 🤣

But thinking about it of course that's a very benevolent sounding excuse for doing whatever they want and saying it's just for your own good.

I'm so glad someone else picked up on that!!

It’s a violation of 18 US 242, deprivation of rights under color of law.

Expand full comment

Was that the spelling correct?

Colon of Law.

:(

Expand full comment

Color of law , research it , find doors the fbi dont want anyone looking behind .

Deprivation of rights ‘under the color of law’ ie mandates , codes, ordinances that deprive you of rights as a man or woman ( breathing through face diapers diapers , injecting toxins into your body under duress etc etc

Expand full comment

That may be ( I wouldn't know) ,but what can that information be used for? Then I ask the ongoing question: if it Can -Will it be used?

Expand full comment

What George said … but again most men or women dont even know the BOR , much less what common law is :( You have to GAS to know , to look, to learn.

It given the MSM the right talking point for the story they wouldn't cover.

Expand full comment

They haven’t used the r word yet for anyone that questions the outstanding ability of the fbi to do its job. I can imagine damage control will include a new season on Netflix of fbi glam battling bad bad on Twitter.

Already has. Two new shows mocking "conspiracy theorists" with over the top comedies about ridiculous shadow governments to show how childish everyone who believes in such things is, starring Hollywood's most progressive all-stars.

I know old thread but saw a few minutes of the glorious history of cia New Years morning on tv. I had to chuckle and 🤮. I thought that didn’t take long. Didn’t watch long enough for any more details.

Wait… the agency that said “conspiracy theorists” and “misinformation spreaders” were terrorists, is calling people who criticize them “conspiracy theorists and misinformation spreaders”…

Hahahahahhahahah don’t they have some more pedophiles to cover up for?

Demand from your representatives that they’re defunded. Only vote for candidates who openly endorse getting rid of the FBI.

What a stain on this country.

Expand full comment

And while you're at it, demand that the illegal income tax be abolished and only vote for candidates that do. Honestly, I think if I ran for congress, if my platform was nothing more than that, I'd get elected...and then shunned, smeared, and plotted against to get rid of me.

a giant 💩 stain

Show me one, anywhere on earth.

I guess I won't be voting ever again.

Rarer than a unicorn! If I found a genie who gave me 3 questions, one of them would be, What are the names of all those who have served in the US congress and house who would ever eliminate their job by voting to end the income tax.

I imagine the insiders having a meeting and saying to themselves, "How do we get out of this? I know, let's call it 'disinformation.' Worked before, right?"

A brilliant bunch, they are not

The Federal Bureau of Instigation couldn't come up with a more verminous slur than "others" to accompany the old saw "conspiracy theorist"? Someone's slacking in the Namecalling Department.

Expand full comment

Wow. How (not) impressive of them. I wonder how many of them have "Pinocchio" as a nickname? Until this blew up I might have assumed there were some IQs in that bunch. I am now assuming I was wrong. Congrats, buttheads, on discrediting yourselves! We're all so (not) proud.

Funny... There use to be A LOT of people I thought were intelligent, particularly in positions of power. After the last few years - not so much.

Expand full comment

I gotta say ... I'm 61 ... and I've always assumed most people were smarter and less gullible than what has been on display. Realizing how many of my fellow humans do what they're told without question or concern has made me reevaluate that perception ... which is nearly as upsetting, to me, as the genocide in progress.

I worked in a couple of despotic third world countries and traveled in many more. I kept asking myself why the citizens put up with the dictators, why they didn't band together and fight back. Well, now after observing the behavior of my own American countrymen these last two+ years, I understand why no one fought back. People become fearful and intimidated very very easily. They don't fight back and they just tolerate it mindlessly.

I know! I just keep shaking my head in disbelief every frickin day!🤯

I grew up believing the best and brightest were running the show. Turns out it was the worst and dimmest.

The term "conspiracy theory" was created by the CIA after the JFK assassination to discredit alternative ideas on what happened to the official theory. Ideas that have turned out to be mostly true in the 50 years since.

Perhaps it is time for this phase to be terminated, with extreme prejudice. (As the CIA saying goes).

Expand full comment

Especially considering the recent disclosures about who REALLY had JFK taken out! Chalk another win up to the “conspiracy theorists”!

they have discredited themselves, they became Favouritism Before Integrity

The FBI statement includes, in part, the following: “traditional, longstanding and ongoing federal government and private sector engagements, which involve numerous companies over multiple sectors and industries.”

“You caught me robbing a bank, but I always rob banks so this should be no big deal”.

Multiple sectors and industries--they just admitted to the same ties with Facebook, Google, Instagram, and others. Wonder how many millions were paid to the other ‘sectors and industries?’ Omnibus has millions going to FBI, now we know why.

It's unfortunate that we've been caught lying and cheating. Please look over here at something shiny - Donald Trump's tax returns, and stop paying attention to what we're doing.

There. Fixed it for them.

What the message really said was "F**K you, you basket of deplorables. We can do whatever we want and you can't do anything about it. So shut up".

And the DOJ possibly indicting Trump for Jan 6, also ridiculously scripted and acted political theatre.

Yes... Anything possible to get people to stop paying attention to the lawlessness of the Deep State / FBI/ CIA/ FDA.

I'm still waiting for all those "wonderful" and "professional" rank and file agents that the RINO virtue signalers insist make up the bulk of the FBI to show their faces. I'm tired of hearing that the problem is only at the top. If you're taking orders from scum and not either blowing the whistle (as a few have) or leaving the bureau, then you are scum too. You took an oath, start abiding by it.

I believe they mean "malinformation". True facts that discredit them with their own words. So what they said there is disinformation.

They better get their definitions straight!

I'm just trying to be prepared for my own show trial

Seems your FBI hasn't learned the lesson that you never ever volunteer information of any kind - and a statement as this is such a clear admittance of guilt it borders on a written confession.

Expand full comment

Doesn't matter, they are completely unafraid of any repercussions and spit in our face and tell us it's raining. Remember the great J.Edgar Hoover? He had dirt on every one! I suspect the same applies now!🤨
