I was there, alongside probably nearly a million other concerned citizens - families with children, young people, middle aged people, old people - from all and no political persuasions and all communities. I have never been on a protest in my life (I'm in my 50s). People desperately concerned for their non covid physical and mental health (we cannot access treatment now anything now through the sainted NHS for anything except bloody "covid" or if you get run over by a bus), children & the horrendous impact on them & their education, jobs, livelihoods, businesses; relatives still trapped under draconian prison like rules in care homes.

The media are smearing us as anti vaxxers and nutters - we are NOT 🤬

Thanks for your support El Gato - we knew you were there with us in spirit.

This whole Covid thing has been a head-scratcher from the start. Nothing "they" were doing made sense. First theory was that it was about discrediting Trump, getting rid of him. But... That failed to explain the same stuff being done throughout Europe, pretty much all western countries. It more and more appears to "be about something else altogether". Geologists, of which I am one, are famous for constructing dozens of working hypotheses from a few data points. And I have approached this issue in that way. The only things that make sense are bizarre, almost unthinkable. We, the people, need to strongly assert ourselves at this point. There is a group of some sort, multinational, increasingly aggressive in its attempt to achieve power, and it appears willing to take out a lot of folks to achieve its goals. I don't think their intentions toward us proles are at all good.

The unthinkable part is they're acting with the support of the majority and they know it. I've come to the (at least temporary) conclusion that we're in the midst of a mental health crisis that was building long before covid. More specifically, chronic anxiety. Or at least living on the edge of anxiety, meaning the slightest threat or perceived threat will trigger it. What's caused this is subject to debate. I've heard people say it stems from an extended period of decadence. I've heard it also said it the result of a "compromised will", meaning a sense of having no control, beginning with self-control. I interpret this as an addiction problem. I share your sentiment. I don't think the underlying problem is covid.

Agree there is a significant psychological element here. A lot of Americans are in complete denial, imagining this is some kind of political hoax. I see the same people who were rabid with TDS last year (that's Trump Derangement Syndrome) are now in deep denial about how Irrationally Covid has been handled. They are all vaxed, of course, even those who were infected and recovered, and their kids. I think people have a deep need to feel secure, taken care of. To think that your elected officials, health officials, even your own doctor, could systematically fail to act in the best interest of you and your family... especially to the point that you could be caused serious harm or even death... Well, I think this causes severe anxiety for some, and the easiest cure is to just ignore it all. And those of us unwilling to do that, and to be vocal about it, we become the threat... to their peace of mind.

Can you say more about what you think? I’m hearing investment firms are buying up homes making it hard for families to buy. I have wondered if that’s part of the scheme to make people rent not own, part of their Utopian dream.

I still don't know what to think. I have a lot of working hypotheses, though. The worst of the worst is deliberate population reduction, which is actually being mentioned more and more. This has been mentioned for years by "conspiracy theorists" as an important eventual goal of the "global elites" or whoever "they" are. Not sure I am ready to buy into that, but it has moved up my list of possibilities. Some folks in the medical/ virology/ immunology ranks are very worried that the mRNA vaccines are going to kill a lot of people over the next few years. It is indeed clear that a current important goal is getting as many people as possible vaccinated. Some believe the point of the "plandemic" was more than just power and pharma and other profits, but related to the widespread opportunity to vaccinate. Not sure what I think, we still need more data. Scary stuff to contemplate, but history reminds us not to dismiss the potential for, and often the banality of, great evil.

This is it. The long-range plan: https://noliesradio.org/archives/181018

Wow, phenomenal recording! Thank you, Gaye. I've no doubt this is much of what has been going on. There's more, though. Why the obsessive need to "vaccinate" everyone? Why the oppressive suppression of early Covid treatment with safe, effective repurposed drugs? There is a profit motive, for sure. But never before have I seen the pharmaceutical industry so blatant in large scale profit-driven injury and killing, or letting people die, in large numbers, to prevent use of off-patent remedies. WTF?

Great questions. Yes, the audio connected a lot of dots for friends battling stonewalling local officials as they approve every petition to overbuild In our city. Never mind that it endangers all with evacuation route overcrowding and burdens on infrastructure. Smart cities must rule. I thought it might clear some fog you’ve observed in diverse areas of life as it did for me. I too what this has to do with NIH head Francis Collins’ recent blog posts overflowing with immunomythology, looking more like vaccine advertisements then biological enlightenment. Vaccine immunity is more durable and protective than natural immunity? Such blatant discrimination!

Are we to believe he doesn’t know better? It’s insane.

My best case scenario is that we are facing collective hysteria gone amok. It is not clear to me why they promoted fear initially (I suspect some were scared themselves watching the unprecedented reaction of Xi JinPing who certainly had his own agenda) but then, who is the politician who would say "I was wrong, we need to stop everything, please accept my apologies" after taking silly unprecedented measures himself?

All the "experts" having some responsibility in the scaremongering only compound the number of people who are not ready to admit having been foolish.

I cannot disagree about the collective hysteria. And it is clear a lot of elected officials/politicians are knowingly scaremongering as a power grab. Doctors seem to be a pretty feckless bunch these days, fortunately with some outstanding exceptions. But the experts... You know they know what's going on, and they have to realize the truth will out, eventually. The Cory Weinstein discussion on Joe Rogan is interesting re the contrast between independent experts and those "captured" by the government, pharmacy, etc. There must be some pretty strong incentives, or disincentives, for these experts to risk trashing their reputations. And did you see some factions in India are suggesting the death penalty for WHO personnel who lied in order to suppress Ivermectin early treatment? Won't happen, but this isn't all staying under the rug.

No question it's to terrorize and control the populace at this point. The NHS has collapsed, well before COVID and they can't admit this. Livelihoods are destroyed, an entire nation with PTSD. And when they do unspool, it will be "everything we did was to save you" . These "leaders" deserve nothing less than Nuremberg-type trials...BoJo, his cronies, Fauci, Biden, Ferguson, etc...

Big problem: too many seem to see these “unalienable rights” as emanating from or regulated by the government. Cats know better. These rights are Divine and those “governing” need a stern reminder. As a rule, I abhor the “easier to ask forgiveness than permission” mindset, but by golly this is the time, and don’t ask anything. Going mask-free for the last year was a daily challenge made more difficult mostly by others who were compliant. It was a big game of chicken, and I won a little every day, but had I not been the only one, the tyrants would have relaxed mandates sooner. And this was in DeSantis’ “free” FLORIDA. The only freedom we get is the freedom we take.

The response to the virus, the riots, the election oddities, January 6th, the response to vaxx injuries, the push to inject children and infants...none of it has made sense or felt within the normal range of expected behavior. Something is wrong, especially in the UK and Europe. Our distributed form of governance functions as a buttress against tyranny, but this fight will be long and hard. We must help our friends, and we must win. Failure is not an option.

Ivor Cummins posted this video on twitter yesterday. He calls it the "Best Geopolitical Documentary Ever to Explain the Why? of Coronavirus". I don't know if this is the reason why everything is so off, but ask yourself...are we crazy to think they just might mean to do us harm?

They only have power because we give it to them.

And, really, how do the jabs fit into all of this? What is their purpose...'cause it isn't health?

We do - I was in a tube carriage full of them yesterday but we have little power to challenge the government. We currently do it through non-compliance but because we don't have the US federal/state system with governors like DiSantis we're screwed. The so called "opposition" (Labour) are even worse - we have no democratic choice.
