It sounds like a joke. If the caller was serious, he wouldn't have admitted adverse vaccine reactions are a thing. But, yes, there will be people who feel this way on both sides of the pond. And it won't be limited to adverse vaccine reactions. Maybe they won't set your broken leg or fix your heart or remove your infected appendix. Let's hope some of the doctors start to remember their oath before this idea takes hold.

Gato, I keep getting hit with hysteria about India's Covid situation and I'm very skeptical. Any color on what's going on there? If anything at all. Or is it more of the same we've seen everywhere else with liberal counting, testing, and media trying to peddle fear porn again?

India is a huge country and the raw numbers are terrible. It's a tragedy... however, putting their numbers in perspective based on population shows they have been overall much more fortunate than the US: https://tinyurl.com/26mr5kcs

CEO of our company (very large) was telling everybody to get vaccinated cause it's "the right thing to do" without any reference to individual health concerns or personal situations and cited the "horrific numbers in India" and that most of the deaths were younger?

@Taco, I feel like Gato might need to write a longer post for something like India. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the situation's the same as the rest of the world and willing to bet we don't have the full, honest picture.
