I just came back from PR in the middle of March '21. To add some color, we had booked a trip in March '20 that we cancelled and received airfare credits, the flights this time around were 1/5 the cost. Our Uber to the airport was more than our flt from NYC to San Juan. This, I agree, explains a lot. We spent a night in Condado and we left as fast as we could, the scene was, for lack of a better word, ghetto. Reminiscent of the trashiest spring break locales of MTV history. Fishnets draped over neon bikinis and plenty of fights and monchromatic political dynamite. Old San Juan was much more our speed and Vieques was a dream. Best of luck to you.
I had wondered if things were different in PR. Sad to hear they are not. Among you friends (I miss Gummi, wish he’d post on Gab), has there been current research done on any places/countries that still offer the freedoms we once had?
Honesty is the bedrock and stalwart guardian of freedom, cats being the most honest and free of companions.
So, nothing about large partying and fighting crowds screams super spreader to you Gato? Black or White or whatever in between, follow rules.
It’s time to make Puerto Rico a state and Gato the governor, no?

Sounds like spending the summer in Portland. Crazy people everywhere ruining everything but nobody to be an adult and stand up to stop them.
