Just finished watching Hungary and France play to a draw in Euro cup and it struck me that countries like Hungary/Poland and Czech that were under the boot of communists and fascists until recently, respect their citizens rights and freedoms far more than western democracies. On Jan. 7, 2021, a joint resolution was filed in the Tennessee legislature declaring this very thing. It passed the house and was, on 3/31, deferred to Summer Study in Health Committee. This will continue on a path we do not want. Please check your state legislature for bills and contact your reps to disarm this attempt at yet another power grab. Gato, love your articles. Can you write one on the argument that masks got rid of the flu this year? (Or have you already done so, and I missed it?) I have read many things that debunk the notion, but I would love to have one article I could point people to when they bring that up. I think it is an important issue as I worry many will advocate for masks every flu/cold season now. Thank you for all you do!

Funny how,last summer in Chicago during July 4th weekend, if I recall correctly, more than 75 shootings of black folks and yet BLM didn't up and storm the place and demand change. Their great and compassionte concern for black lives couldn't be entirely theater, could it? Oh, and next month our friends at WEF are pivoting, too, as they tee up "CyberPolygon" a table top exercise with important "stakeholders" (wink, wink) in modeling a massive cyberattack on critical supply chain infrastructure! You know, with the recent attacks on gas pipelines and beef processing, you;d almost think they are letting us know ahead of time what they will be stuffing down our the proles' throats if they don't behave. Lots of pivoting going on. Oh, and CNN pivoted, too, rehabilitating that Toobin fellow, because, I mean, its really hard to find good help nowadays, and what's the harm in a little jerking off on Zoom among friends, anyway?
