“aggressive aggressive swamps passive aggressive every time.”

Aggressive aggressive is American, Passive aggressive is Marxist.

We the people control the Overton window and will defenestrate anyone who tries to censor or close it.

Tough competition indeed! I would like to submit Senator Patty Murray's name to the Low and Slow Sweepstakes - she is the poster child for the power of incumbency as a democrat in all-blue, all the time state of WA. 32 years in the senate and "only" 74 years old. She's looking at another couple of decades in congress if we continue to avoid the discussion re. term limits.

It was hilarious when one of the senators asks about a time where Hegseth spearheaded innovation. He forcefully and eloquently tells a story about an organization he founded for veterans...then suddenly the questioner realizes he stepped on a rake.......

Stupid hardly covers it. But it's a start. When women support policies that clearly increase the chance of their daughters being raped, perhaps even gang raped by hordes of cultural enrichment and lax law enforcement on dangerous criminals it is beyond stupid. Kinky maybe? Masochistic? Self loathing? .. stupid just scratches the surface of the mental pathology being manifest

Jordan Peterson among many others I am sure noted how Sweden for example, one of the most feminist countries in the world has supported policies that have made it the rape capital of Europe. Seems like a feminist country would pick up on what is causing the excess danger to women. It is not about xenophobia, because not all of it stems from immigration, it's about common sense. I suspect many men look at the phenomena and just can't get their heads around it because lots of these issues make thing make things MUCH more dangerous for women than men. You would expect women to be screaming bloody murder about some of the policies but instead you often see them screaming bloody murder in defense of policies that put them at risk.

Expand full comment
DiazRockCrawlr's avatar

Very well stated, and as a woman who was involved in the early feminist movement, I will say that the movement was co-opted by what I would call a blatantly sexist, sexually exploitive faction and is now coming full-circle….thus inspiring a re-assertion of the original, pure pro-female (non-exploitive) roots of the feminist movement. I look forward to the next 4 years of ‘spring’.

Ryan, we witness hypocrisy so ofter that its ubiquitousness goes practically unnoticed. Senator Warren, whilst screeching-on in her Hillary voice about "the revolving door" lacks the self-awareness to refrain from talking about revolving door issues since she and all members of the legislative branch enjoy the remarkable benefit of the power of incumbency mated to the lack of either term limits OR meaningful campaign finance reform. If there is anyone in the senate who has "worked the system" to get where they're at today, it's the all-white Cherokee.

The Overton Window shift feels like a long time coming, the last four years lasted what felt like decades. Actually it has been decades with a four year semi-lull of January 2017- January 2021. The first two terms of Obama were awful but the third term was the most miserable period in modern times. In my State it was legal to shoot a Mormon on sight until 1976.
