Sad that you have to write an article to articulate and convince people of what we really already know….but thankful that you’re so good at it. (Except for giving a “natural” random process credit for something that is so obviously Genius Design.) Thank you.
Once you perform the necessary mental exercise of substituting the term "trans" with "fake", things become a *lot* clearer. Screwdrivers become screwdrivers again.
My wife has male-style punishment/reward thinking.
Yes, she really is a woman: I was there when she gave birth (and earlier, too <hint, hint>).
But mothers cannot be infinitely forgiving if they want civilized children.
This gender-related anti-punishment trend is something that has only become prevalent in the last generation or two. So, while there may be some biology factors in play, I think that the cause is mostly social, cultural, and (most of all) ideological.
"... mothers cannot be infinitely forgiving if they want civilized children." A brilliant observation! My mother was incredibly supportive and encouraging, but she wasn't shy about corrective punishment; creative, too! For the longest time I always wondered why she got elected to administer corporal punishment. I FAFO'd with my father once, and suddenly found myself semiconscious on the far side of the room. After I shook it off I thought: thanks for clearing the matter up, Dad.
When my oldest brother was 13 or 14, his adolescence was highly emotional - he had a temper. After one emotional outburst my dad grabbed him by the collar and held him in a cold shower. He pulled him out, asked him if he had cooled off, to which my brother shouted "No", and stuck him under again. The second time my dad asked him that question he asked he answered yes and was allowed to towel off and change.
Mom never had the upper body strength to accomplish that...
A mother's punishment was not always based on wrongdoing. The conditions were different.
When I was a kid, my sister came down into the basement to play with me, and I wanted to play alone. She got mad, hit me in the head with a wooden block, and then started crying. My mom came down and punished me.
I agree. The extreme tilt in the last few decades is not solely due to biology, but propaganda designed to exploit the tendency. The introduction of the oppressed/oppressor paradigm and the insistence that wrong-doers are actually victims elevated a more feminine response in personal situations to policy on a societal level.
I am the same Fred, as was my mother. She was the most supportive person I've ever met, but boy howdy, those consequences really caught up with you if you broke the rules. Hardcore. I raised my sons & daughter the same way----you know the rules and if you choose to break them, you will pay the price & I never relented & gave in to the whining and begging.
I too have a very high sense of justice for a woman (I suspect higher than normal T as well) but sometimes there seems to be multiple personalities within my head arguing with each other over whether to be lenient, merciful and kind or to throw the book at my child. Also with some criminality in our society, especially when its young people, because you can see where they didn't necessarily choose to grow up the way they have. The empathy is real and strong. But then reason steps in and asks how being lenient will help in the long run, and the empathy admits it won't, the cycle will continue.
I suspect many women's reason hasn't been as developed due to lack of seeing full fruits from the empathy. That tends to weaken it after a while. Ask any pastor who has worked a mission for more than a few years.
I don't think Madame LaFarge and her fellow viewers of public execution, the roman matrons who went to the coliseum or any huge swath of women in history 'felt bad' for the criminals. However, their life might have more directly impacted by the criminals and thus they could feel the same catharsis in the execution of same.
In fact, I would posit that the concern for the criminal perpetrator is a modern class thing, a luxury belief that has come with the relative safety of the current age and manifests mostly in women who live in exclusive suburbs and gated communities and have extensive contact with the leftist university system. I suspect most working class women would have no problem with the punishment of those who endanger their lives, families and communities.
I suspect the 'gender' thing also splits along the same class lines.
Mother of 5 here, we need to punish or we lose our minds. I see my siblings with "children" in their 20's and 30's still leaning on their parents emotionally and financially. I learned early on to ignore my kids sometimes. They need to panic every once in a while to learn the hard lessons in life. Now I have 5 financially and emotionally independent adults. And, surprisingly they thank me for be tough years ago.
While we only had two (both girls), both married over a decade ago and each has four kids (3 boys and a girl & 3 girls and a boy – they *ahem* planned well).
And all four parents discipline their children, so they’re all still mostly sane.
Bad Cat's point about women being good at multi-tasking comes to mind when looking at driving habits. I'm always amused/annoyed when I get behind a woman adjusting makeup, looking for things in their pocket book, etc. instead of just focusing on the task at hand. The ability to multi-task sometimes seems to become a need to multi-task even when it increase danger.
Oh, because miscarriages of justice NEVER happened when the justice system was dominated by men. I'm sorry, but this sort of thing pisses me off. If a woman in a professional capacity makes a bad decision, it is taken by some people that ALL women should be summarily barred from public life, but when men make mistakes (and yes, they do. All the time.)...crickets from those same quarters.
Everyone makes bad decisions. The claim is that women make many more bad decision with respect to the law than men, the reason being, they are temperamentally, by virtue of their inherent nature, unsuited for the work.
Nothing is accomplished by advancing claims that men make mistakes too. No kidding, but it's about the numbers, not the feeelings.
recently I read an article how in the 60s or 70s a medicine was on the market given to pregnant women to treat morning sickness. this same medicine was used to make male fish female and rooster chicks into hens. Researchers found, that from the male offspring of the women who took this medicine 1 in 5 identified as female. these boys and young men were poisoned in the womb. this should be carefully looked at before one puts the blame... yes it is a sickness, but one can hardly be blamed for being sick or poisoned.
Didnt cross check the claim of "male offspring of the women who took this medicine 1 in 5 identified as female" but even wikipedia admits it causes intersex birth defects.
One has to wonder why the liberal left is so much more inclined to violence in their opposition than conservatives. What misfiring of low T is going on there?
Men and women are indeed different....Vive la difference!
When I met my ex, she had a habit of pounding screws into the wall to hang pictures. I absorbed the task of hanging stuff as a couple.
Hormones really control more behavior than we give them credit. Had a business client who was a cancer survivor and business owner. She had to receive periodic hormone treatments to live a normalized life. If they got her hormones out of balance, group business calls (no Zoom back then) could be embarrassing for her as her sex talk would flow! That was wildly out of character for her, and we worked around it..
My late brother was treated for prostate cancer in part with testosterone suppression therapy. He went from being a life long horn dog to totally disinterested in sex. He was shocked and not a little dismayed at how much in his life he had considered to be his identity was merely the result of a chemical mix in his brain.
All that said, we as a people for multiple generations have decided that rebellion for rebellion's sake is somehow a good thing all the time. We need as a people/culture/species to grow up and as EGM notes, acknowledge traits and preferences, but not make them straitjackets either.
There's a reason you must use lots of force to cram round pegs into square holes...
This is hilarious. My wife did similar things, particularly the pounding screws into the wall to hang things. She would also simply cut pieces out of the interior wall in order to hide cables and wires. Problem is it didn’t hide the hole in the wall. She was a great proponent of measure twice, cut once other than actually doing it. I had to stop her because of the level of destruction, glad to know I’m not the only one.
No disrespect intended to your ex, but how could anyone get the idea in the first place, to try and hammer in a screw?
Using the wrong kind of screwdriver, that I can kind of get - people are sometimes too lazy to go get the correct bit. And women not knowing nor understanding how to hold or swing a hammer correctly, that I can understand too.
But a screw? It would as if you'd pick the sledgehammer when trying to chop wood!
I think Gato intended it as a joke, given the other meanings of "ball" and "peen" respectively, given the overall topic of trans-sexualism.
On the other hand, academics who are in Gender Theory and associated areas can write thesis papers and doctorate essays on the "gender" of cutlery, musical instrument and train stations.
All three examples are real. My tax-Crowns at work...
Who owns the high table that is directing all this subversion?
The people have been brainwashed, it’s like the mops in sorcerer’s apprentice. The useful idiots and the just plain idiots are spinning out of control.
But somebody wants this. Somebody is encouraging this. Why is Obama the face of this? Why is he involved in local, state and international politics? Who owns him? It’s the same person that owns Mamdani, i bet.
Soros, but that’s too obvious. There is another layer here….
The trans-thing is played out, media-wise. The actual trannies and their cheerleaders are too few to move the needle in elections and cannot create corporate profits, and so are on the way out (has been for 1-2 years now) as politics and corporate capitalism re-align The Message (to be read in the voice of the Critical Drinker).
But the race-culture-ethnicity-thing, is lightning-hot.
*(Nigeria is home to over 200 different ethncities by the way, but none of them are German, or "White" as USAmericans persist in using as a catch-all term, no matter how erroneous it is.)
When we think about the threats to our existence as humans, how high does testosterone decline figure in? It probably doesn't score very high until someone knowledgeable shows you the numbers. If you're at all interested, I recommend Dr. Charles Cornish-Dale's recent book The Last Men: Liberalism and the Death of Masculinity. Dr. Cornish-Dale, known on Substack as The Raw Egg Nationalist, provides a lot of data on this issue, and the results are alarming. Whether by accident or design, our hormones are being messed with to our individual and collective detriment. Until I read this book I'd have argued that the whole gender dysphoria/Trans craze was mainly the result of mass formation psychosis; I never considered what havoc a world-wide decline in testosterone might cause.
I suspect that a considerable percentage of biological female Trans people are initially struggling with observations of how badly females are treated in their lives and grass-is-always-greener projections that 'boys have everything'. That's a real important conversation where real abuse may be occurring.
The reverse scenario starting with biological males, well, I'm just too sparky to publish those thoughts right now.
Except that those inclined to spit in the face of said biological reality almost invariably end up miserable. And misery loves (demands) company.
Like my raging feminist stepsister who spent her life alone with cats. Ended up as a "man", pumping herself full of testosterone and dieing from a DVT at 60 (hormones or mRNA? We may never know). At least her annual Christmas letter, painstakingly detailing how awful the last 12 months had been, were always a source of great amusement!
Sad that you have to write an article to articulate and convince people of what we really already know….but thankful that you’re so good at it. (Except for giving a “natural” random process credit for something that is so obviously Genius Design.) Thank you.
More men like this. This is the answer, just apply the same logic to men competing with women:
https://x.com/i/status/2054576591414382651
What is happening is evil. I appreciate gatos well thought out article, but I'm sorry we're just flat out dealing with EVIL.
And it must be confronted as such.
A hammer, regardless of surgery and all efforts to make it a screwdriver, is still a hammer.
And that's not only correct, but a polite way of putting it... Kudo & Golf Claps to that man!!!~
Agreeeeee RG .
"We" know a lot, but we've also forgotten some very important things...

All this nonsense went into high gear under Obama, divider-in-chief.
Also vaccines, food, endocrine disruptors along with the social programming

And this is why, in traditional societies, the headship of the family lies with the father. He is nature's break for that.
Amen
Men are from Mars, women are from Venus. Anybody that would try to convince you otherwise is living deep inside Uranus.
This is an excellent explanation of why women's participation in the justice system should be restricted to catering lunch for the jury.
That's gonna require a kitchen in every courtroom. We certainly wouldn't want all those women driving to the deli for sandwiches
Bad Cat's point about women being good at multi-tasking comes to mind when looking at driving habits. Recent studies establish the fact the no one can multi-task. It's all task switching.
ROFLMAO

this. We could also be more selective about which men are put in the position to make these decisions.
if the defendant is a woman, they women of the jury don't seem to have any issues convicting.

Could it be this one?
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31975033/
"Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation Identity in Women and Men Prenatally Exposed to Diethylstilbestrol"
Found it via a page called DES Action:
https://desaction.org/
It's for people who were treated with or suffered secondary or even tertiary exposure to Diethylstilbestrol.
that is the one. thank you for the links!
Wow, I thought "well no way thats really a thing" but sure was: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diethylstilbestrol
Didnt cross check the claim of "male offspring of the women who took this medicine 1 in 5 identified as female" but even wikipedia admits it causes intersex birth defects.
wish I had marked and kept the article - can't find it now
IIRC, it also causes testicular cancer. A friend of my ex lost his fertility that way.
DES.
One has to wonder why the liberal left is so much more inclined to violence in their opposition than conservatives. What misfiring of low T is going on there?
Simply put:
Hatred.
And not being met by reciprocal violence.
Exactly. Its a trap
Perhaps because they can’t logically defend their positions.
But Gato, you forgot the pliers, wrenches, and the 32 piece socket set!
Basically, women shouldn't be judges.
I got called to jury duty many times. Second to last time the female judge was exceptional.
There’s always exceptions.
Then there are the majority of smooth brains on the SCOTUS, and the brighter ACB who is a wrecking ball.
Men and women are indeed different....Vive la difference!

I think it’s a lack of patience on the part of women.
Dunno the history, can only relay the facts and the solution we agreed upon...
Heh, sounds like me and my wife.
The agreed-upon solution being, I'll do it after she finally decides what it is that needs doing, more or less.
Sayeth the married man!
Just one quibble; meaningless in itself. Ball-peen hammers are NOT for driving nails.
Just thought I'd mention it.
I think Gato intended it as a joke, given the other meanings of "ball" and "peen" respectively, given the overall topic of trans-sexualism.
